ASTHERIEN'S POV :-
It was around 11:50 something and mom woke me up, covered my eyes with her hands, I was too sleepy to realise that it's my birthday!!
Usually I don't really get too excited but, don't know I was really excited as soon as I realised.
We went downstairs,mom uncovered my eyes and the party popper burst open, showering me with sparkling confetti. Everyone started singing birthday song.
Kai...kaiza was also there, i cutted the cake, fed mom, dad and sista...her son aaron came out of his room, he was sleepy.
"Party without me?" He asked.
"Aww you were asleep already, you've to go to school early that's why we Didn't disturb you my child." Sista said taking him in her arms.
"I want that cake too!" He said coming to me.
"Okay Aaron!" I said feeding him a piece of cake.
After all this, we decided to sleep, and open those family gifts in the morning later, I went up to my room. It was great. I was asleep by 2:30.
In the morning, I woke up freshed myself up and went downstairs for the breakfast. Everyone was already sat on the dining. We ate breakfast, and went to living room to open gifts, my dad gifted me another car in my favourite colour- cherry red! Damn. My mom gifted me a trip to paris, I really needed a break from all this- acting, wedding, the rumor or whatever. Then I went for my sista's gift, it was a LV bag!! I open my all other gifts, i recieved- my favourite scent, louboitin heels and more...
I opened all those gifts but, there wasn't his gift...umm I mean that's not what I mean but you have to bring a gift when you're attending a birthday party...I love gifts, doesn't matter who gifted it..
Well, anyways....today's my birthday party at night, I'll recieve more gifts! I'm not expecting anything expensive from any gift, I just love the efforts.
[In the evening]
I was wearing a gorgeous white dress with pearls detailing, it was one of the most glamorous dress I've ever worn, I wanted my 24th birthday to be special, as It was my resolution to be successful before 24. And now I'm doing great in my acting career, going get married even though I don't want to!
I was at the party, it was in a grand hall, my dad booked for the night. My celebrity friends and colleagues were also there, the environment was quite and suttle, people coming to me to wish me and greet me.
"Oh, Hi! Happy birthday, nice meeting you!" A voice i heard. I looked for it and it was John Wicked..wait it was JOHN WICKED!! he was litteraly my crush in college!
"H-hi! Th- thank you, nice meeting you too!" I replied. Why can't I talk properly to him!! I should make a good impression!! I'm litteraly screaming in my head! DAMNNNN!
"I've met you at the award show..right?" He asked, he had a wine glass in his hand.
"Yeah..I'm glad we got to meet again!" I said.
Everyone was enjoying, I needed to go to the restroom, i excused for a moment and went out of the hall, after a few minutes while returning to the hall, someone grabbed my hand and pulled me to the corridor, and guess who it was..that Kaiza.
"What the fuck-" I said as I turned to look at him.
"Wait, can you just stop it!?" He said.
"Stop what?, let me go!" I said as I moved to the hall. He pulled me back and pinned me against the wall. Damn that asshole.
"Stop cursing! I'm your soon to be husband!" He said, my hand was still holded by his.
"So what, I don't want you to be!" I said, with a grin.
"Can't you just use some polite words?"
"Why should I?"
"Well, i allowed you to curse me how much you want, but after our marriage, I won't let any single curse word out of your mouth!" He said as he moved back and gave some space between.
"What can you even do? A-S-S-H-O-L-E!" I said and I moved to the hall without even turning to him.
I went to my dad, he was talking to other guests. He introduced me to some of the directors and film makers.
"Happy birthday, I've Heard of your work, it's great, I would love to cast you in our project." One of them said.
"Thank you, I'm glad you liked my work, I would also love to work with a great director like you." I replied with a smile.
After the party, I was in my room, sitting infront of my dressing table.
Today's day was great, i recieved many wishes gifts and also got another movie project, I was too much tired.
I removed my necklace, and notification popped up. It was unknown number, usually it is normal for me to get messeges or calls from unknown number. But it was different.
[ UNKNOWN NUMBER ]
Unknown :- Hey, i know you're getting married only for an agreement. Cancel it! Or you'll regret getting married to Kaiza!
Astherien :- who are you?
Unknown :- you don't need to know.
Astherien :- tell me or I'll report you!
Astherien :- hey? Are you there?
I don't know who it was, but there's definitely something fishy! The day after tomorrow is the wedding, i blocked the contact but before that he deleted the chats! But I'm even smarter I've already taken screenshot.
[ In the morning ]
I called akki, told her about that message. She told me to have a talk with kaiza about it. But I don't want to. What if something happens tomorrow? I don't want to get married! Why am I getting dragged in this mess!?
Should I really talk to that Kaiza? Or should I tell dad about it? Or should I figure it out on my own! Wait, let's see what happens after marriage. Let's just leave this for now.
I was in the living room thinking about the message and someone rung the door bell. The helper opened the door, it was Kaiza. Looking at him, i was thinking, what will actually happen? Who was it? Should I talk about it?
"Stop staring at me like that. I know I'm handsome!" He said, i instantly looked away, i didn't realise how long I was glaring at him.
"I was thinking something" I said.
"Yeah...that I'm so handsome!" He said, his smile turned into a teasing one.
"Shut up!" I replied with a grin.
Dad entered the hall, we sat on the sofa, they were discussing about wedding arrangements.

As y'all know, because of exams I can't post regularly. I would like to inform you that, I will not be able to upload upcoming chapters consistently in February, I've my main exams! That's why I will post regularly in March.
