An astonishing aura burst outward in all directions.
Moments later, Goku stopped powering up.
Beerus chuckled. "Are you ready?"
Goku nodded and turned into a streak of red light as he charged forward.
Whoosh…
Bang! Bang! Bang!!
With his increased speed, Goku managed to land several blows on Beerus.
He smirked slightly.
Beerus snorted and instantly raised his speed as well, counterattacking.
Whoosh…
Bang! Bang! Bang!!
Goku was soon forced onto the defensive.
Bang!!
Beerus spun and delivered a powerful side kick, sending Goku flying.
Goku clenched his fists and forced himself to stop mid-air.
Suddenly, Beerus created multiple clones, surrounding Goku completely.
Each clone formed a sphere of Destruction energy.
Goku's expression turned serious.
Whoosh…
All the Beerus clones fired their Destruction energy simultaneously.
Boom!!
The blasts collided and detonated, filling the sky with thick smoke.
"That should do it," Beerus said as the clones merged back into him.
"Not yet!"
Goku burst out of the smoke and rushed at him.
Beerus narrowed his eyes just as Goku closed in with a punch.
Beerus caught Goku's fist with his left hand.
Goku roared and pushed forward, forcing Beerus back a few steps.
Beerus quickly stabilized himself and countered.
The two exchanged rapid blows at blinding speed.
Their impacts echoed across the sky.
Krillin and the others could barely follow the fight.
Whoosh…
Bang!!
Suddenly, Beerus' tail lashed out and wrapped around Goku's body, binding him tightly.
Before Goku could react, Beerus pummeled him repeatedly.
Goku cried out under the barrage.
After enduring several hits, Goku suddenly leaned forward and bit down on Beerus' tail.
Crunch!
Beerus yelped in pain and pulled his tail free.
Goku quickly retreated, catching his breath.
Beerus glared at him, rubbing the reddened spot.
Moments later, Beerus charged again in anger.
He appeared in front of Goku instantly and unleashed a rapid combination of punches.
Goku raised his arms to block.
Bang! Bang! Bang!!
Goku was steadily pushed backward.
Then Beerus delivered a heavy kick, sending Goku crashing into the ocean.
Splash!!
A massive wave erupted.
Beerus hovered above the sea, watching coldly.
Moments later, Goku burst out of the water, still surrounded by his crimson aura.
Beerus formed a purple orb of Destruction energy and hurled it at him.
Goku shot upward.
Boom!!
The blast exploded in the ocean, sending towering waves into the sky.
Beerus created over a dozen Destruction orbs around himself.
Goku's eyes widened.
Beerus waved his hand, sending them all at once.
Goku shouted and fired multiple Ki blasts to intercept them.
Boom! Boom! Boom!!
Explosions filled the sky with smoke.
"You're not bad," Beerus said with a faint smile.
Goku grinned. "You're incredible, Lord Beerus."
Beerus narrowed his eyes. "Our game is almost over."
"Over?"
In an instant, Beerus appeared behind Goku and struck toward the back of his neck.
Bang!!
Goku reacted just in time and caught Beerus' palm.
Beerus looked surprised.
"Do you want to end it now?" Goku asked seriously.
"I was going to, but I've changed my mind," Beerus replied. "Let's continue a little longer."
"Thank you."
Beerus withdrew his hand.
Goku retreated briefly, then roared as his red aura flared higher.
Beerus' purple aura rose in response.
Whoosh…
Boom! Boom! Boom!!
Red and purple streaks clashed violently in the sky.
Bang!!
Their fists collided, releasing a shockwave that spread across the ocean.
They separated and resumed their lightning-fast exchange.
Bang! Bang! Bang!!
Both attacked and dodged simultaneously.
After several exchanges, Beerus landed a powerful kick that sent Goku flying.
Without hesitation, Beerus formed another Destruction orb and fired it.
Goku raised both arms defensively.
Boom!!
The explosion engulfed him in smoke.
"Goku!"
As the smoke cleared, Goku's body fell from the sky.
