Although I tried to seem like I didn't care much, I was beyond curious.
I mean... This is the righteous main character. His grandfather was also a really big part of his life, so for him to die and kick off the canon events... I guess that just doesn't make any sense to me?
And so, seeing my curious look, Kevin let out a chuckle and said:
"Who knew that the person who had been training me for all this time was actually not even related to me?"
I tilted my head.
"What's the difference? Surely, if the old man was with you since you were born and cared for you like a grandfather, it wouldn't make much of a difference, would it?"
He nodded.
"That was the case until I got a lot older. But as it turns out, he was the person who killed my parents. Also, the only reason he was keeping me alive and caring for me was because the leaders of his organization were trying to turn me into their weapon."
