"Elise is fine," I replied.
Then, I took a few steps toward her. Only when I was close enough did I realize that despite her malnourished body, she looked slightly older than Elise.
Could she be the older sister?
"When we met, she was drinking coffee and eating delicious food. She was also very worried about you."
She just stared at me for a moment.
That was until she raised her hands and wrapped them around the chain that was on her neck. To my genuine surprise, the chain began to glow slightly as tiny cracks appeared along it.
And in just a few seconds, I watched in awe and shock as the chain that had been around her neck suddenly dropped to the ground and shattered.
"I agree to your requests. So free me."
"Not until you send me the contract," I said.
