After everyone left, Kai and Alex walked toward Rhea.
"Ahh… what a mess," Rhea sighed. "Courtroom, seriously? Are they kidding me? I already have so much work to do, and now I have to sit there listening to people argue."
"Hey, don't be so negative," Alex said with a grin. "I think it'll be fun. Something tells me there's going to be a lot of drama. We don't get to see stuff like this every day."
"And don't tell me you're not happy that the Sanctifiers' church got destroyed," Kai added.
"You guys really love chaos, don't you?" Rhea sighed. "Anyway, I hope this gets wrapped up quickly. I'll meet you both in the hall later. I've been online since last night — I need to order some food or I'm going to die."
With that, Rhea logged out.
"Alright, Kai," Alex said. "I'll see you later. I've got some work to do — need to grind a bit before the Island event."
Just as Kai was about to move, a message popped up on his screen.
Find me.
Kai frowned and opened the chat.
Kai:Who the hell are you, and why should I find you?
The reply came instantly.
???:Ohh… quite the attitude. Trust me, I can be very useful to you.
Kai stared at the message, then checked the sender's name — and froze.
The name read: xkni's dice (****)
His eyes widened.
Kai:Is this some kind of joke? There's no tag next to your name — no Player, no NPC. I've never seen anything like this. What are you, some kind of object?
A reply came almost instantly.
???:Ohh… looks like you actually have something inside that head of yours.
Kai frowned.
Kai:Bruh… you seriously have a name? That's kind of funny.
K6:My master gave me that name. You don't have to laugh. If you prefer, you can just call me K.
Kai:Alright. But why are you talking to me? Do you want me to find your master or something? Are you lost?
K6:Ohh… how cute. But no. You don't need to find my master. You just need to find me.
Kai:And how exactly am I supposed to do that? Don't tell me you're some ancient object hidden underground.
K6:You're not completely wrong. I'll send you the location. You'll just need to break a few rocks to find me.
Kai frowned.
Kai:And what if I say no? Don't tell me you're some underworld entity that's going to kill me or something. I'd rather stay alive.
K6: Haha… as I said, you're quite the cutie. Don't worry, I'm not going to kill you. But you do seem to be involved in the church incident, right?
Kai's expression hardened.
Kai:What do you mean? Are you threatening me?
K6:Oh my, your tone changed quickly. Relax. No one will know . If you help me, I'll help you in return.
There was a pause.
K6:We'll talk more after the court meeting. I'll be waiting.
The message ended.
Kai leaned back in his chair, staring at the screen.
After a moment, he opened a browser and searched for "xkni's dice" — Guild Clash .
Several results appeared.
He opened one thread.
It was an old post. Someone claimed their friend had found a strange dice that talked to him through in-game messages. According to the post, the dice slowly drove him insane until he quit the game entirely.
Most of the replies mocked it.
"Bro got bullied by a cube."
"LMAO imagine getting scared by pixels."
Kai frowned. There was no contact information. No way to verify anything.
He closed the tab.
Checking the time, he realized it was almost 12:50 PM.
The court meeting was about to begin.
He stood up, took a breath, and headed toward the Main Guild Hall.
