Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Emotional Stimulation, Amusement Park

Late at night.

Lynn did not choose to sleep.

Instead, he began cultivating.

His Mutant talent was Omega-level.

Unfortunately, due to the limitation of his X-gene, he couldn't unleash its full power yet.

For now, the only thing he could do was accumulate strength.

At the very least, he had to make perfect preparations before danger arrived.

Lynn began cultivating the X-Gene Training Method again.

He couldn't help but sigh in admiration—this thing was truly incredible.

In his understanding, the Marvel world had never possessed anything like it.

It was highly likely that the System had customized it specifically for him.

Extremely user-friendly.

Aside from the awful name, the effects were nothing short of terrifying.

Every minute spent cultivating—

The feeling of becoming stronger was intoxicating.

Most importantly, this method had no bottlenecks.

As long as he cultivated, he would continue to grow stronger.

Lynn even suspected that ordinary people might also be able to practice it.

After all, everyone possessed X-genes—whether dominant or recessive.

The most critical point was—

This method increased X-genes without causing mutation or turning people into monsters.

If perfected—

He could potentially create an invincible Mutant army.

He had originally considered testing it on Peter Parker.

Since there were no side effects, it seemed safe.

But Peter's big mouth and nonstop chatter made Lynn abandon the idea immediately.

To put it bluntly—

If he taught Peter today, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Mutants would show up at his door tomorrow.

Just imagining that scene made Lynn shiver.

"I'll leave this kind of thing for later," he muttered.

The next morning.

Lynn stretched his body.

After a full night of cultivation, he didn't feel tired at all.

On the contrary, he felt exceptionally energetic.

Especially when he clenched his fist—

He could clearly sense that as his X-genes increased, his physical strength had grown as well.

Driven by his intense desire to become stronger, Lynn took a month-long vacation.

As for Wanda and Pietro—

Fueled by their obsession with revenge, they trained almost nonstop.

"Big Brother Lynn, look!"

Pietro's excited voice rang out.

In the next instant, an afterimage flashed through the living room, stirring up a gust of wind.

Lynn was slightly surprised.

Pietro had awakened his Mutant ability.

Not bad.

However, seeing Pietro's eager expression, Lynn spoke in a deep, warning tone.

"Don't go outside to show off your speed, and don't look for trouble."

Pietro's face immediately fell.

What he really wanted—

Was to run freely and feel the wind whipping past his cheeks.

But since Lynn had forbidden it, he could only comply.

"I'm going to check on Wanda," Lynn said.

During her first cultivation session, Wanda had already sensed something stirring inside her.

But over the past two days, her Chaos Magic hadn't awakened.

Nothing had gone wrong… right?

Second floor.

"Have you awakened your ability?" Lynn asked.

Wanda shook her head, her beautiful face filled with frustration.

"I can sense an incredibly powerful force inside me…"

"But I just can't communicate with it…"

Lynn's thoughts raced.

In the original storyline, Wanda's Chaos Magic had awakened at a HYDRA base, stimulated by the Tesseract.

But since he didn't have the Tesseract, that path was impossible.

The other method—

Stimulation.

Life-and-death crises and extreme emotional fluctuations were practically standard procedures for American comic protagonists to awaken their powers.

A life-or-death crisis wasn't an option.

That left emotional stimulation.

After a brief moment of thought, an idea surfaced.

A mysterious smile appeared on Lynn's face.

"Stop cultivating for now," he said lightly.

"Pack your things—we're going out today."

"Where?" Wanda asked.

"Camping," Lynn replied with a smile.

Wanda's eyes instantly lit up.

She knew cultivation could be extremely boring.

Lynn looked at her gently.

After all, she was still just a sixteen- or seventeen-year-old girl.

Maybe he shouldn't push her so hard.

Soon, Lynn informed Pietro as well.

An hour later—

Standing at the entrance, Lynn felt a vein twitch on his forehead.

In front of him stood a whole crowd.

Mei.

Peter Parker.

Fat Cook Edward.

And Alice.

The reason was simple.

Pietro had told Peter Parker about the camping trip.

And Peter Parker—

Had told everyone.

Mei had directly taken a day off.

Fat Cook had closed his shop.

"…Let's go," Lynn said helplessly.

Before long, the group arrived at the amusement park.

The park was massive.

The front half was filled with thrilling rides and attractions.

The back half was a large mountain area.

At its base were multiple camping grounds.

The moment Lynn entered the park, he attracted countless stares.

The reason was simple.

Everyone else was wrapped in thick coats, scarves, hats, and fleece blankets—

And still shivering from the cold.

Meanwhile, Lynn wore only a T-shirt and a light jacket, completely unaffected.

This left people wondering—

Was he showing off?

Or was he genuinely immune to the cold?

Lynn naturally noticed the attention.

But after his body strengthened, he truly didn't feel cold anymore.

"Give me one ticket for each of your most thrilling rides," Lynn said calmly, placing a stack of cash on the counter.

Lavish.

Decisive.

Coupled with his handsome appearance—

The ticket clerk's eyes immediately turned dreamy.

As she handed over the tickets, she quietly slipped him a note.

"This is my number. Call me tonight…"

This scene didn't escape Pietro's sharp eyes.

He was completely shocked.

Is dating girls really this easy?

You just buy tickets and get phone numbers?

He immediately whispered the discovery to Wanda.

"Holy crap, that girl is way too bold…"

"But it's normal," Pietro added.

"Big Brother Lynn is seriously outstanding."

"It's only natural that girls like him!"

Wanda's heart clenched.

She stared at Lynn, who was handing out tickets while holding the note.

Her mood instantly soured.

She remained gloomy the entire way.

"Wanda, what's wrong?" Pietro asked.

"Mind your own business," Wanda snapped irritably.

"I'm annoyed!"

However—

The moment they entered the park, Wanda froze.

Because Lynn didn't even glance at the note.

He casually tossed it into a trash can.

"The amusement park is so beautiful!" Wanda exclaimed happily, hopping on her toes.

Her pretty face bloomed with joy.

Pietro: "???"

What the hell?

You call this being annoyed?
