Chapter 132 - Joining

What Liang Dong didn't know was that in the crowd behind them, the Bald Man who had left earlier was staring at his retreating figure, his eyes flickering.

"A potion that can increase lifespan, and he's managed to create this much of it. I must report this." Excitement flashed across his face.

He hadn't expected that merely by routinely tracking and inviting Liang Dong, he would stumble upon such explosive news.

On the other side of the street, Lei Xiangchen sat down in the back seat of the car in front of him.

Wei Gaocheng was in the driver's seat, and the Blood Master was in the passenger seat.

Seeing him return, Wei Gaocheng asked, slightly confused, "Why didn't you just kidnap him? Also, that kid has a tail following him; with your strength, you must have noticed them already."

Lei Xiangchen took out his phone, scrolling as he explained, "The mental aspects are all handled by him. If you kidnapped him, what if the kid pulled some tricks while working? It's better if he joins voluntarily; it saves us trouble."

"As for that tail, I just left them a method to put some pressure on Liang Dong from their side." His lips curled slightly as he glanced up at Wei Gaocheng.

"So many twists and turns," Wei Gaocheng sighed, starting the car and slowly following behind Liang Dong, who had already walked far away.

That night, on a secluded street lined with several stories of residential buildings on both sides.

Inside the lobby of a slightly old, two-story building on the left, Liang Gui and his grandson, Liang Dong, were sitting and watching television.

Liang Gui was drinking a little wine and watching the news. Beside him, Liang Dong was preparing to take out his phone to call Lei Xiangchen.

"Xiao Dong, don't worry about Grandpa. You are still young; you should prioritize your own health," Liang Gui suddenly said at this moment.

The grandfather and grandson relied on each other. He knew about Liang Dong's ability, and after the initial surprise wore off, he was more worried about his grandson's health.

"Grandpa, I..." Hearing this, Liang Dong paused his hand on the phone keypad, looking with a complicated expression at the old man whose face was full of wrinkles, whose eyes were cloudy, and whose breathing was weak.

This only strengthened his resolve, and he sped up the dialing process.

Beep, beep, beep!

After a few beeps, the call connected.

"Have you made up your mind?" Lei Xiangchen's gentle voice came from the other end of the line.

Liang Dong's expression gradually became firm: "I want to join you. Money isn't important. What I want are things that can increase lifespan, and I want them for both me and my grandpa!"

As long as their lifespans increased, the side effects of his ability could be relatively reduced, and his grandfather could live for a while longer.

"No problem. Just bring a few important things and come downstairs. Don't bring anything else. I'll be waiting for you down on the street," Lei Xiangchen immediately replied.

"Okay!" Liang Dong was not one to hesitate, and he immediately packed up the items important to him.

Liang Gui watched all of this quietly. Since his grandson had made a decision, he would not stop him.

A few minutes later, Liang Dong brought his grandfather to the doorway. Sure enough, a black sedan was parked there.

By the car door, Lei Xiangchen leaned against the vehicle, smiling as he watched them. "Liang Dong, welcome to our organization. You won't regret this decision."

"What is your organization called?" Liang Dong walked forward, opened the back door for his grandfather, and helped him sit inside.

As soon as he got in the car, he noticed a long, red-haired young man in the passenger seat.

Lei Xiangchen moved to the driver's seat. He stepped on the gas, and the car immediately shot forward.

Not long after the car drove off, another small black car immediately followed from the street corner.

In response to Liang Dong's question, he answered nonchalantly, "The Monster Association."

"What?" At that moment, both Liang Dong and Liang Gui felt as if they had misheard.

"We are part of the Monster Association. Do you regret it?" Lei Xiangchen asked without turning his head.

Upon hearing this, Liang Dong didn't react much, but his grandfather was nearly scared out of his wits.

His voice trembled slightly as he said, "Lord Lei... that... do we still have a chance to regret this?"

In the news and among the people around them, the Monster Association's reputation was known to be extremely brutal, assaulting children and kicking old men.

Even Nanwu Country couldn't defeat them; they were simply the most brutal force in the world.

Liang Dong's eyes flickered: "I should have guessed long ago that the only things in the world capable of increasing lifespan would come from the Monster Association."

As the Monster Association recruited a large number of cannon fodder, some experiences about turning into Monsters also appeared online.

Among the most popular topics was lifespan; even the most ordinary Monster could have its lifespan doubled or tripled.

"Don't worry, you are a talent we need. The Monster Association always gives the best treatment to talented individuals," Lei Xiangchen said, simultaneously raising his left hand, where a star seal was flashing. He sent a message to Wei Gaocheng.

"Clean up all the tails behind us."

"OK!" Wei Gaocheng immediately replied.

Hundreds of meters up in the sky, Wei Gaocheng stared at the small black car below, a cold smile appearing on his face.

This operation wasn't just limited to the three of them; Lei Xiangchen had also mobilized over five hundred Monsters. This number, combined with his own strength, was enough to wipe out the Awakened Ones and the Supersonic Group in this country.

He raised his right hand, the star seal flashing as he began issuing orders. After finishing, he ignored the car below and flew above Lei Xiangchen's vehicle, maintaining vigilance against any potential surprises.

In the car behind, the Bald Man and another Blue-Haired Youth were closely following the vehicle ahead.

"General Lu's plane has arrived. We just need to stick close to the target," the Blue-Haired Youth said, his eyes flickering.

Excitement appeared on the Bald Man's face: "If this potion really exists, I will have rendered a great service—the second thing that can increase lifespan besides the Monster Association's methods."

In his human form, Lei Xiangchen's dark eye on his forehead was quite noticeable, but wearing a hat allowed him to walk outside without even needing an illusion crystal.

This was also why the Bald Man reported it; if the person opposite him had been a Monster, he wouldn't have dared to report anything.

Thump, thump, thump! Just as the two were speaking, a vibrating sound came from outside, growing rapidly closer.

The two instinctively looked toward the street on the right where the vibrations came from. There was a small alleyway there.

A figure over three meters tall and extremely muscular rushed rapidly toward their vehicle. By the time the two men saw the figure, it was already upon them.

"Shit!" The Bald Man only had time to let out an angry roar.

The strong Monster, gray-skinned with two half-meter-long tusks and blood-red eyes, slammed its shoulder hard into the middle right side of the car.

Bang! Under the terrifying immense force, the middle of the car instantly caved in, glass shattered, and the entire vehicle flew off the ground, shooting toward a house over ten meters away.

Bang! The car crashed into the wall, and the two successive violent impacts caused the vehicle to explode instantly, sending fragments of the car and stone flying everywhere.

The Monster merely glanced at the exploding vehicle before turning and walking toward the nearby houses.

They had received Wei Gaocheng's command: destroy this city!

Boom, boom, boom! Explosions continuously rang out from distant streets, as Monsters positioned throughout the city began their attack.

"Ahhh!"

"Monsters!"

"Quickly notify the Awakened Ones!"

"Where did so many Monsters come from!"

"Ah! Don't kill—"

Screams and shrieks filled the city.

This small city, with a population of only several hundred thousand, was completely incapable of resisting the Monsters' destruction. The garrison, consisting of one regiment stationed in the city, was wiped out immediately.
