Chapter 63 - Blood Master

Upon hearing the Director's call, the four people who were originally at loggerheads immediately calmed down.

They quietly waited for Long Zhengqing to answer the phone.

Long Zhengqing picked up the landline phone and immediately put it on speakerphone: "Hello, Director."

"Fang Wenyu, Qin Wan, Deng Mengcheng, Jiang Ao, are the four of you so furious that you intend to tear down my building?" An aged voice came from the other end of the line.

The four people who were called out dared not speak, listening quietly like primary school students being punished to stand.

"Listen carefully to Zhengqing's words. His words are my command. If anyone disagrees, come find me." The voice simply said this calmly and then hung up.

Long Zhengqing returned, looked at the four, and said, "Sit down. You don't need to keep standing; you're not primary school students anymore."

Upon hearing this, the four immediately sat down.

Long Zhengqing continued, "This meeting is mainly to discuss how to eliminate the Monster Association..."

An hour later, downstairs from the building.

Fang Wenyu walked out, followed by Qin Wan.

"I'm so angry. Sooner or later, I'm going to beat up those two petty people," Qin Wan said angrily.

Fang Wenyu shook his head, "Alright, alright. Being a Group Leader is truly difficult. Having to bicker like children is exhausting."

...In Liyang Country, inside an enormous underground cavern.

The widest part of this cavern was over three hundred meters high and tens of kilometers long. Numerous light bulbs were installed along the edges of the walls, and the ground had been leveled.

Jiang Yan stood in the center, sinking his consciousness into his mind.

In his mind, the pearl of the abyss emitted a faint white light, now fully charged.

After Lei Xiangchen and others created Monsters all over the world, his pearl's 25,600 points were maxed out in just a few days.

Negative emotions are full. Summon?

'Summon!'

As Jiang Yan moved his thoughts.

A purplish-black cloud mass appeared out of thin air in front of him, stopping once it expanded to about two meters in size.

'The size is actually this small this time.' Jiang Yan's eyes flickered. After summoning several large-bodied Monsters, he was unaccustomed to smaller ones.

RUMBLE!

The purplish-black cloud mass rumbled for over ten minutes before dissipating.

A Monster appeared, 1.8 meters tall, with short red hair, a pale face, emerald green eyes, two mouths growing on the sides of its cheeks, and a pair of huge bat wings on its back.

A slender black tail swayed behind it, and the Monster, whose hands and feet were covered in dark black fur, appeared.

"Master." The Monster's voice was cold, and it knelt on one knee before Jiang Yan.

Jiang Yan looked at it and pondered, 'This summon is less like a Monster and more like one of the Monsters under my command.'

Jiang Yan sank his consciousness into his mind to check the information of the Monster before him.

Blood Master: An existence from a special world, feeding on fresh blood!

Undying Body: Super recovery power and vitality; it can recover to a normal state even if only one cell remains!

Scarlet Reservoir: Every cell of the Blood Master possesses a special structure, capable of storing vast amounts of energy!

Blood Evolution: Stored energy can be consumed for offense and defense!

Jiang Yan looked at all this, his eyes flickering. 'The abilities are simple and clear, and the Undying Body is too ridiculous. I just wonder how strong it is.'

Jiang Yan looked at the Blood Master: "Get up. Go spar with the King of the Deep Sea behind me."

Jiang Yan pointed a finger at the King of the Deep Sea, who was sitting in a specially dug-out pool not far behind him.

"Understood!" The Blood Master's eyes flashed as he walked toward the King of the Deep Sea, showing no hesitation despite the opponent's enormous size... Two days passed since the Blood Master was summoned. At the northernmost part of the continent was a protruding landmass.

This area belonged to Tizi Country, a Caucasian nation, and along its coast was Roset City, the country's third-largest city.

Jiang Yan, wearing a white short-sleeved shirt and black trousers, walked calmly along the coastal street, with the Weaver of Illusions resting on his shoulder.

CRASH!

Under the setting sun, Jiang Yan watched the sea breeze blow the seawater onto the concrete wall below.

"What a truly beautiful city. It's a pity it won't exist anymore," Jiang Yan remarked with emotion.

Behind him followed Li Yong and Wei Gaocheng.

They listened to Jiang Yan's lament but did not reply, as this location had been chosen by Jiang Yan as the landing point for the skeleton tree.

"But before that, let's let our protagonist make his entrance." Jiang Yan turned to look at the Ghost Buddha, who was only visible to him.

The Ghost Buddha put his palms together, his empty eyes flickering slightly.

Five thousand kilometers away, within Perth Nation, in its capital city.

Redd was looking with a smile at Lina, who was ahead of him, wearing a small blue dress and holding a pile of grilled skewers.

He hadn't been idle these past few days. He found a few Mental-type friends to examine Lina's body and mind, and also arranged for a full physical examination at the hospital.

The result of all the testing was that there was no problem at all; the only issue was that her body was too vigorous, like a newborn baby.

During that time, he even managed to spare some time to go back and dig up Lina's grave.

When he saw the white bones, he was startled for a moment, but then pretended nothing happened and buried them back.

Lina turned to Redd: "Hey, Redd, try this. It's really delicious."

Lina quickly walked over, smiling, and handed the meat skewer to Redd's mouth.

"Alright, alright, I'll try it." Redd smiled, opened his mouth, and ate the skewer.

Some passersby around them showed confused expressions when they saw this scene; the pair's behavior was less like grandfather and granddaughter and more like a couple.

Lina looked at Redd with a gentle smile. Just then, a sharp pain suddenly struck her mind.

"Aah! Aah!" The skewers in Lina's hand dropped, and she screamed heartbreakingly, clutching her head with both hands.

This sudden scene caused Redd's expression to change drastically. He grabbed Lina's hand and anxiously asked, "Lina, what's wrong? Where does it hurt?"

No matter how loudly he shouted, Lina didn't respond, only screamed while clutching her head.

At this moment, Lina only felt a pain originating from the depths of her soul constantly stimulating her. In her mind, an image appeared.

It was a coastal city. On the coastal street stood a handsome, grim-faced young man in white clothes.

He suddenly looked up, staring directly at Lina, and said, "Tizi Country, Roset City, Coastal Road No. 11. I will wait for you there."

Lina, who was screaming in reality, suddenly stopped. Under Redd's anxious gaze, she spoke with vacant eyes: "Tizi Country, Roset City, Coastal Road No. 11. I will wait for you there."

After saying this sentence, Lina completely fell into a coma. No matter how Redd called her, it was useless.

Half an hour later, inside the hospital.

A doctor looked at Redd before him and shook his head, saying, "Duke Redd, we cannot find any problems with your wife; she has simply fallen into a coma."

"Then when will she wake up!" Redd immediately pressed, his face filled with anxiety.

The doctor said helplessly, "We don't know that either. Ms. Lina's condition is just like being asleep."
