Chapter 135: Superalloy Rocket Elbow
On the other side of the battlefield, atop a high-rise building.
Panic flickered in Homeless Emperor's eyes. He stood on a floating disc made of pure energy, with a protective light shield shielding him from the howling gales as he flew rapidly through the air.
"Damn it! Damn it all! Why won't my energy orbs burn that broad to ash? Why is she faster than me?!"
Behind him, Tatsumaki was a streak of light in the storm. Her green curly hair fluttered wildly, and her pupils and entire body were wreathed in emerald radiance. Majestic psychokinesis saturated the air around her.
Every energy orb Homeless Emperor unleashed was deflected by the seemingly thin but indestructible psychic barrier surrounding Tatsumaki. Although the resulting explosions slowed her down slightly, they couldn't stop her advance.
He was filled with disbelief. I am the one favored by GOD! I have received two consecutive divine blessings! I am the ultimate Messenger of God!
So why... why can a mere woman who has never received a divine gift suppress me?!
The more he thought, the angrier he became. Thousands of energy orbs erupted around him. He decided to carpet-bomb the entire area.

Countless energy orbs, rippling like water, rained down from the heavens. In an instant, they blanketed the ground below in a series of catastrophic explosions.
A massive mushroom cloud soared into the sky. Destructive shockwaves swept outward in every direction, leveling what was left of City Z.
As the smoke slowly cleared, most of the S-Class heroes remained unharmed.
Child Emperor and Drive Knight had maintained their defensive shields, enveloping Atomic Samurai. Lying on the ground behind them were the heavily injured Metal Bat and Puri-Puri Prisoner, along with the mangled remains of Tanktop Master.
Child Emperor hadn't found a perfect opening to attack yet. Currently, his most vital role was acting as a damage-absorbing shield to protect his broken comrades.
The Brave Giant is still on its way... that old man keeps spamming energy orbs... the interference is making it impossible to transport the mech components...
Drive Knight hadn't left either. His scarlet mechanical eye scanned the battlefield continuously, storing every combatant's data in his processors.
Besides, if Child Emperor were to hold the line alone, he wouldn't last long against the sheer volume of orbs the Dragon-level Executive was outputting.
Outside the shields of Child Emperor and Drive Knight, Bang and the others engaging the Executives were also largely unharmed.
A faint psychic shield wreathed each of them, protecting them from the worst of the explosions.
Tatsumaki, hovering in mid-air, saw that everyone was okay and let out a tsundere snort:
"In the end, you still have to rely on me. Without me, you'd all be ash by now! Useless bunch of losers!"
With that, she resumed her pursuit of the fleeing Homeless Emperor. Veins pulsed on her forehead, and her gaze grew increasingly lethal.
"You seemed to be having fun with those explosions just now. Today, I'm going to grind you into meat paste!"

Homeless Emperor was scared witless. He pushed his flight speed to the limit while unleashing a barrage of orbs at the approaching Tatsumaki.
Tatsumaki looked at the orbs surrounding her. With a mere thought, the orbs were frozen in mid-air by her psychokinesis, unable to move an inch forward.
Just as she prepared to crush them all, a chilling whistle of air came from behind.
Nyan, who had been hiding in the folds of space, suddenly materialized. His razor-sharp claws, bolstered by Divine Power, forcibly tore through her psychic shield.
Homeless Emperor seized the opening. The orbs Tatsumaki was holding detonated all at once, their destructive energy staggering her mental focus for a split second.
In the next heartbeat, Nyan unleashed a rapid-fire flurry of dozens of slashes. His claws, carrying extreme penetration and GOD's power, slammed viciously into Tatsumaki's newly formed shield.
BANG!
The psychic shield shattered like glass. Even though Tatsumaki poured every ounce of her mental strength into her defense, the shockwave from the claws penetrated through.
"Gah!"
Tatsumaki groaned in pain. Like a falling star, she plummeted toward the ground, crashing heavily.
The back of her signature high-slit black dress was shredded. Deep, bone-deep gashes marred her back, and blood began to soak the surrounding fabric.
Seeing that the sneak attack had finally succeeded, the panic on Homeless Emperor's face solidified into a triumphant grin.
He dispelled his flight disc and landed on the ground with the arrogance of a Divine Messenger. He walked unhurriedly toward the downed Tatsumaki and leaned over:
"What's the matter? Done chasing? You were pretty cocky a minute ago. Can you still act tough now? HAHAHAHA!"
Tatsumaki was incandescent with rage. Oceanic psychokinesis erupted from her body like a churning sea, rushing toward the Emperor.
But Homeless Emperor was prepared. Having received his second blessing from GOD, his control over energy had increased drastically; a semi-transparent energy barrier already protected him.
Seeing her strike fail and knowing a ground battle put her at a disadvantage, Tatsumaki prepared to take flight again. But Nyan appeared behind her once more, his claws poised to strike.
This time, however, a slight smirk played on Tatsumaki's lips. The fury from being ambushed was gone.
Finally took the bait... I've been waiting for this...
In an instant, Tatsumaki abandoned all defense. She concentrated 100% of her psychokinesis on the newly revealed Nyan.
Nyan felt as if a massive, divine mountain had been dropped on his back. The crushing pressure acted as a set of heavy shackles, pinning his proud speed to the ground.
Just then, a thunderous, earthquake-like roar came from the earth behind him, as if a colossal beast was approaching.
Bad news!
Nyan struggled to turn his head, only to see a massive, muscular juggernaut—jet-black but radiating a shimmering brilliance.
"SUPERALLOY ROCKET ELBOW!!!"
