Chapter 3 - Tutorial

"Before we begin the tutorial," the being spoke, her voice steady and absolute, "each of you must possess a vessel—or, in simpler terms, a body."

She gestured lightly, and the space around them seemed to respond.

"You are currently within the Realm of the Soul. That is why you cannot see or feel a physical form That's why You cannot enter the Realm of the Living without a vessel. The soul is the purest state of existence. Spirit and body are born from it—not the other way around."

A hand rose from the crowd.

"How do we get this… 'body'?" a man asked.

The being turned her gaze toward him. "What is your name, mortal?"

"Jacob Anthony," he replied.

A ripple of murmurs spread instantly.

"No way… that Anthony?""Isn't he the son of Microsoft's CFO?""What's someone like him doing here?""Is this game really that popular…?"

The being spoke again, and the whispers died instantly.

"Bodies are created by the soul," she said. "The weaker the soul, the weaker the vessel. Every one of you already possesses a body—crafted, forged, and refined to its absolute potential by your own soul."

Her gaze swept across the crowd.

"No two are the same. Each vessel is unique. Perfectly tailored to its soul."

Excitement surged. Some players immediately began checking their systems, while others whispered in anticipation.

"As for how to obtain it," she continued calmly, "you already have it. Your vessel exists within your system."

She paused.

"All you must do is accept the quest. Those who refuse cannot clear the tutorial—and cannot enter the Realm of the Living."

Instantly, voices erupted.

"Yo, I got a High-Grade Combat Body!""My Body is the 'Refined Martial Vessel'!""Mine's a Magic Conduit Body—what does that even mean?"

Some shouted in excitement. Others fell silent, staring at their windows with unreadable expressions.

Oh… I didn't even notice, Zein thought, blinking in mild surprise.

He focused inward and opened his system once more, curiosity flickering in his eyes.

So… what kind of body did my soul make?

[Body State: Pre-ALL]

[Body: ????????]

Zein stared at the screen.

"…System," he said slowly, "what's Pre-ALL?"

A new window unfolded before his eyes.

[BODY STATE]

[Name: Pre-ALL]

[Rank: ??????]

[Type: ?]

[Description:]

It exists before the first infinity.

Before the first body.

Before the first vessel.

Before the first state.

It is before creation, before destruction, before conclusion.

It is before even the word"pre."

It is before everything—and nothing.

It contains all and nothing.

Formless, yet formed.

is and is not.

It is BEFORE ALL.

Zein blinked.

"…What does that even mean?" he muttered.

He stared at the description again. Before creation. Before destruction.

A grin slowly spread across his face.

"…That's stupidly broken," he thought, barely holding back a laugh. Creation and destruction? That's insane.

"Primodius," Zein asked, turning his attention inward, "how do I activate my body?"

[Master, your body will be activated once you accept the quest.]

"Oh." He nodded.

[ Accept Quest ] [ Decline Quest ] [ Abandon Quest ]

[Would you like to accept this quest?]

"Yes," Zein said without hesitation.

[Quest Accepted.]

[You will be transported to the Tutorial Area in 5 seconds.]

One by one, the souls standing across the vast, grass-filled field vanished in pillars of light, drawn away toward the Tutorial Area.

In the next instant, Zein felt it.

His very being was dragged—not through space, but through existence itself. Speed became meaningless. Light itself felt slow by comparison, stretched thin and left behind.

Then—

[Body Activated.]

[Body State Activated.]

The transformation began.

First—his hair.

It became White as untouched snow.White as purity itself.Brighter than light, yet not blinding—like something that defined light rather than reflected it.

Then his eyes.

They opened, and within them lay something vast. As if the footstool of that nameless being—cosmos upon cosmos—had been condensed into his gaze. An iris formed, silver-white and colourless, embodying purity, primality, and origin. His pupils shimmered faintly, radiant, as though every element in existence reflected within them.

His face followed.

Ethereal. Refined. Perfectly balanced. Beautiful and handsome beyond mortal comparison—beyond even the gods. His skin glowed faintly, warm as the sun, his features sharp and chiselled, his hunter-like eyes holding an infinite calm.

Then his body.

Naked, radiant, and fully formed.

Tall—nearly 6'10".Broad shoulders. A powerful chest. Lean, defined muscle layered over absolute perfection. Strength and elegance fused seamlessly.

Zein felt it.

His hands.

His legs.

His breath.

He Could finally move again.

"Woah… it's… big."

Before Zein could think further—

[? Cloth — Activated]

A weightless mantle poured over his body like living light. The cloth had no fixed shape, yet it fit him perfectly—stretching, flowing, shifting as if it were aware of him. To his own senses, it felt like pristine white purity.

But to anyone watching—

It appeared as an extended black suit, seamless and elegant, etched with faint golden sigils that shifted and reformed endlessly. A circlet manifested upon his head—white-silver, refined, absolute.

It didn't just look regal.

It declared authority.

THE ONE ABOVE ALL.

Zein took a moment to steady himself, then lifted his gaze.

The world hit him all at once.

A village—small, rustic, and burning with chaos. Bushes were trampled. Wooden huts and houses lined crude pathways. Villagers screamed and ran, clutching their children, while others fought desperately with farming tools and rusted blades.

Goblins swarmed the streets.

Their shrill screams tore through the air as cutlasses flashed, blood splattering across dirt and stone.

This wasn't a game.

Pain was real.Blood was real.Fear was real.

The immersion wasn't just high—it was absolute.

A window appeared.

[Objective]

[Slay at least 10 Goblins]

[Slayed: 0 / 10]

[Note: Slaying more than 10 will be counted as a bonus and may multiply or boost rewards.]

[Timer: 1 Hour]

[Start]

"Shit…" Zein muttered aloud.

Around him, other players scrambled. Some grabbed whatever weapons they could find—broken spears, knives, sticks—trying desperately to survive.

Then—

A goblin noticed him.

Its yellow eyes locked onto Zein, and it shrieked, charging with unnatural speed, cutlass raised high.

Above its head—

[Goblin]

[Difficulty: Easy]

"Uh—Primodius!" Zein shouted. "What do I do?!"

He glanced at his status window, searching frantically for anything.

Then—

[Transferring System Knowledge to User's Mind…]

[1%… 7%… 45%… 89%… 99%… ∞%]

Time stopped.

The world froze mid-motion. Blood hung in the air. Screams were silenced.

An immeasurable flood of knowledge poured into Zein's mind—mechanics, instincts, combat logic, system control. Yet there was no pain. No overload.

His perks absorbed it all effortlessly.

Everything awakened.

[PRE-? STYLE — Activated]

The world resumed.

Zein vanished.

In less than a millisecond, he crossed six meters of space. One moment he stood still—the next, he was directly in front of the goblin.

Its eyes widened.

Zein's gaze ignited, cold and absolute.

He threw a single punch.

The impact was instantaneous.

BOOM.

The goblin's head exploded, bursting into blood and shattered bone as its body collapsed lifelessly to the ground.

Silence followed.

[You have killed a Goblin.]

Zein slowly lowered his fist, blood dripping from his knuckles before evaporating into light.

Zein stood still—as if nothing had happened.

The goblin's corpse lay broken behind him, blood soaking into the dirt, steaming faintly in the cold air. He looked down at his hands. Red. Warm. Real.

He had killed a monster.

He had seen blood.

He felt nothing.

No fear.No hesitation.No disgust.

Only forward.

The world lurched.

WHOOM!

The ground cracked as Zein vanished, the air collapsing inward where he had been. Shockwaves rippled outward, rattling ruined homes and shattering loose stones.

A goblin was sprinting toward two villagers—a woman and her child. The mother had thrown herself in front of the boy, trembling, arms spread wide in a useless attempt at protection.

She never saw Zein arrive.

He appeared inside the goblin's space.

A single, brutal motion.

Zein drove his fist straight through the creature's abdomen. Flesh tore. Bone snapped. The impact punched a hollow cavity clean through its body.

The goblin's scream died as Zein seized its head.

He twisted.

Then kicked.

The skull exploded outward in a wet detonation, fragments and blood spraying across the ground.

The body collapsed in two lifeless pieces.

The woman opened her mouth to speak—gratitude, fear, shock, all colliding at once—

But Zein was already gone.

BOOM.

The air screamed as he accelerated again, each step cracking the earth, each movement ripping sound apart. The ground shook violently, as if something ancient had awakened beneath it.

Three goblins charged him from the smoke.

"GRAAAHHH!"

Their crude weapons rose.

Zein did not slow.

This time, he reached inward.

Into his inventory.

The world paused—just slightly.

Reality fractured.

A black, inter-dimensional cube formed before Zein—edges folding inward infinitely, surfaces twisting like a vortex of nothingness. It did not reflect light. It consumed it.

Zein reached inside.

His hand passed through dimensions.

He grasped something that was not a weapon—yet was every weapon.

Formless.

Colourless.

Infinite.

Before existence. Before meaning. Before everything.

And nothing.

[ALL-CUT]-"Horizontal Cut."

He swung once.

Only once.

There was no wind.

No arc.

No resistance.

A thin, absolute line appeared across the three goblins.

For a heartbeat—nothing happened.

Then their bodies slid apart.

Perfectly.

Cleanly.

Blood erupted in a silent crimson wave, splattering the ground as the severed halves collapsed, organs spilling, limbs folding as if guided by invisible hands.

They died before pain could exist.

"I need to speed up the pace," Zein muttered.

In the next instant, his form shattered reality itself. He blurred, faster than the eye could follow, a living streak of darkness and light, moving around the village like a predator across prey. Roofs cracked under the shockwaves of his motion, walls splintered from the air displaced by his passing. The villagers barely had time to gasp before he vanished again, reappearing atop the hill.

Then it began.

With a single thought, his sword arced through the air. Heads flew. Limbs followed. Blood rained from the sky like crimson rain, splattering roofs, streets, and terrified villagers. The ground itself drank deeply, soaked and steaming, turning the village into a grotesque, living painting of carnage.

The goblins didn't stand a chance.

Zein clenched his fist. A faint heat radiated from him—not anger, not excitement, just absolute inevitability.

The remaining fighters froze mid-motion, their weapons trembling in their hands. Eyes wide, voices cracking in disbelief, one shouted:

"How… how on earth did he clear the entire tutorial in six seconds? We just started a minute ago!"

Another stammered, disbelief shadowing his face:

"He… he probably hacked. Bro, ngl"

The Goddess had been watching from above. Every strike, every motion, every fragment of blood in the air—she saw it all. There was no cheat. No trick. Only unadulterated skill.

He's a monster.

Radiant light poured from her form, bright enough to scorch the goblins to ash without a single glance in their direction. The surviving players were thrown to their knees, retching, trembling under the oppressive aura, some collapsing entirely under the unbearable pressure. And Zein? He remained standing. Unshaken. Unmoved. As if the very presence of a goddess were merely a breeze brushing past him.

"Mortal… who are you?" the Goddess asked, her voice echoing like sunlight through crystal.

Zein turned calmly, eyes meeting hers. "Oh… my name is Zein."

"Hmm…" she mused, studying him. "And your physique?"

"I… don't know," he said plainly.

She searched him—not a lie, not a hidden pulse, not the faintest tremor. Perfectly calm. Pure.

Without another word, she vanished.

An hour passed. Word spread. Survivors emerged from hiding, villagers cautiously stepping into the open. The village chief approached, eyes wide but resolute.

"Thank you, Transcenders, for saving our village," he said, bowing deeply, though his gaze lingered on Zein, reverent and wary.

The villagers followed suit, all lowering themselves in profound respect.

"We thank you, Guardian of the Village
