Chapter 47 - Chapter 46: Charts, Wins, and the Drunk Puppy Myth

Weeks had passed since the infamous "drunk puppy night," and OG was slowly getting used to Koharu's dual personalities: the "untouchable CEO" version during meetings and the soft, fan-like side that only Sakura had ever glimpsed. But nobody—except maybe Sakura herself—could ever predict when the latter would show up.

Charts and Wins

The group's comeback was performing steadily. Streaming numbers were climbing, ticket sales were solid, and fan engagement was consistent. Sometimes they didn't even win anything, but when they did, it wasn't a surprise that Koharu wasn't involved behind the scenes buying trophies or bribing votes.

"Wait… we got three wins this week?" Hana asked in disbelief, staring at the music show scoreboard.

Yuki peeked over her shoulder at the screen. "Yeah… no shady business, no secret money transfers, nothing. This is legit."

Kairi let out a low whistle. "Wow. So, Koharu really is… letting us do our thing."

Sakura, sitting quietly in the corner, smirked. She glanced at the group. "See? She's obsessed with me… but she's trying not to ruin us."

Hana raised an eyebrow. "Obsessed, huh? That sounds like a fanfiction plot."

Aiko rolled her eyes. "No, it's real life. We saw the drunk puppy night ourselves. She—uh—well… Sakura was basically her bed."

Sakura's face went red. "Aiko! Stop exaggerating!"

Yuki laughed. "Exaggerating? She literally fell into her arms and refused to let go!"

Aiko nodded, smirking. "Yeah. And now she's acting like an untouchable CEO. Nobody else would survive it."

Sakura muttered under her breath, "…I don't even know which one she really is."

Kairi shrugged. "Maybe she's both. CEO by day, obsessed puppy by night. The perfect blend."

Hana clapped her hands. "That explains why we're doing so well! Fear and love combined… genius strategy."

Sakura groaned. "I can't believe I'm part of this… she's going to kill me if anyone finds out."

The Drunk Puppy Effect

Despite Koharu's strict professionalism, OG couldn't shake the memory of the night she had clung to Sakura like glue. It wasn't just embarrassing—it was strangely endearing.

Hana whispered to Kairi during a rehearsal. "Do you think… she actually likes Sakura? Like, really?"

Kairi tilted her head, squinting. "She's obsessed. But she's trying. She's controlling it… because last time she almost destroyed our entire group."

Aiko crossed her arms. "Yeah… she's obsessed but self-aware. That's dangerous. Like… she could implode at any moment."

Yuki, who was always the optimist, added, "Or… it could work in our favor. Sakura keeps her calm, and we get a supportive CEO instead of a fan causing chaos."

Sakura nodded slowly, still blushing at the thought of Koharu's warm embrace from that night. "…She's trying. And that's enough… for now."

Even though the group had gotten used to the professional Koharu, the drunken puppy night lingered in their minds like a story they couldn't quite tell. It was embarrassing, heartwarming, and terrifying all at once.

Balance in Chaos

Over the next few days, OG noticed subtle differences in Koharu's behavior. She no longer hovered over their schedules unnecessarily. She allowed the group to practice without interruption. She didn't micromanage their promotions or performances. But whenever Sakura passed by her office or looked at her, Koharu's gaze would soften for a fraction of a second—always quick enough that nobody else could see it.

The group couldn't help but joke about it.

"Do you think she's… practicing self-control?" Hana whispered.

Aiko muttered, "She's obsessed, she's rich, and she's terrifying. Self-control? Please."

Yuki laughed. "At least she's learning."

Sakura looked at them, smirking, and whispered to herself, "…Thank God she's learning."

By the end of the week, OG realized something important: their success was now purely theirs. Koharu wasn't buying wins, she wasn't manipulating charts, and she wasn't interfering with their promotions.

But the drunk puppy memory lingered—always there in the back of their minds.

Aiko muttered to Sakura during a rehearsal: "Be careful… she still acts like a fan sometimes."

Sakura just smiled softly. "I know. And somehow… I think I like it."

Hana groaned. "Oh no. Now you're part of the obsession, too."

And with that, the group laughed—an actual, carefree laugh, the kind that felt like old times.

For now, everything was balanced. Koharu was professional. OG was performing. And the drunk puppy? Well… that was safely tucked in memory… until the next unexpected encounter.
