Once the little lion had run out of sight, Sang Luo looked at Minos. "What's wrong?"
"I want to adopt Hephis as my son," Minos said bluntly.
"You're my Beast Husband, so you're already considered one of his fathers." According to the local customs of the Beast World, her children could call all her Beast Husbands "dad." She just found it a bit strange, so she had them call them "uncle" instead.
Minos knew what Sang Luo was thinking, which was why he had brought it up with her.
'Duotu and she don't have much of a relationship anymore.' Minos had even considered adopting Hephis outright, but he knew she would never allow it. As a compromise, becoming a godfather was also acceptable.
Sang Luo said, "You and Duotu are related by blood. You're cousins, which makes you Hephis's biological uncle."
"He's just a Mixed Blood Angel with no lineage," Minos said, his expression turning sour.
Sang Luo laughed. "Hephis is a Mixed Blood Angel too, yet you're so eager to adopt him."
