Mi Yin's body went limp as he leaned lazily against the wall. His gaze fell upon the slaughter in the arena below. His eyes were half-closed, a strange red light and a flicker of interest flashing in their depths.
But he quickly sensed An Jin's discomfort beside him. Snapping out of his reverie, he stepped closer and asked softly, "You don't like watching this?"
"..." An Jin stared intently at the mangled "thing" not far from her, her face pale. She pressed her lips together, saying nothing.
Suddenly, her view went dark. An arm tightened around her waist. She looked up in astonishment to find him using his tall frame to block her line of sight. "If you don't like it, we won't watch. It's nothing interesting. I'll take you back."
He wrapped his arm around her waist, and his snake tail smashed the door open, ready to lead her away.
"I don't quite understand..."
