Chapter 2 - A warm feeling

It had been around a month since Ellora had arrived at the Verne castle. She had gotten comfortable with life here maybe a little too comfortable. it had pretty much become sleep, eat, explore the mansion, play with Ellie and mina; her new handmaid, eat more rest eat again and dinner with the family before sleep. she had all day to herself exploring parts of the library or the mansion. she decided to take a stroll in the back garden; the place was to her liking as not a soul seemed to pass by there. she thought of it as the ideal place for rest. she sat down on a neat bench a little odd in that desolate garden. she had found a book which she thought of to be a clue towards her pursuers' the hunters.

she gently opened her eyes wondering for how long she had dozed off. she was still drowsy as she was starlet by the rustling of leaves in an unnatural manner. she looked around for any unknown presence when she noticed a tiny boy covered in leaves, probably due to running around in the unkept bushes. a squirrel she thought almost instantly as she questioned ''young master?'' The boy spoke hesitantly ''I'm sorry for disturbing you um'' he seemed not to know how to address her. he looked genuinely flustered. she picked the boy up as he panicked in pure confusion. she sat down on the bench with him on her lap. suddenly a striking blue light shone as she touched his knee ''there'' she said ''it's all right now. Don't tell me you didn't notice. how were you even running around with such bruises. the boy felt warm, a kind of fuzzy sensation. he was quite dazed when she asked ''now shall we have a proper introduction. I'm Ellora your sister-in-law.'' the boy spoke, now shy and nervous ''I'm Elvan third young master of the Verne dukedom and, um Ellie's twin brother''. he had turned as stiff as a board now as he continued '' um, miss no milady I... No sis...''. ''yes darling'' Ellora was about to explode as she let out a chuckle. this little squirrel felt to her like pure joy. ''relax'' she pat his head gently as she quivered trying to hold back her laughter. the lingering warmth from the pat had Elvan wanting more like a cat. this was a new feeling. he felt warm, a warmth different from when she healed him. the blue light had him dazed while this one was different, somehow, he could not explain. he was left longing for more. he thought if he was a cat would he have begged her to do it again, begging with a purr?
