Chapter 88 - The Jealous Elf

"You're quite the flirt, thinking you can have them all!" Lorna wrinkled her delicate nose and said playfully; most nobles have many women. Some just have one wife, so either way, him wanting multiple wives wasn't surprising.

Arthas leaned down and kissed Lorna's red lips, brushing her nose gently.

"Alright, get dressed. I have an elf ranger general waiting outside as my companion. We need to return to the battlefield, and once we deal with the orcs, I will definitely take you out for some fun."

"Hmm!" Lorna shyly lowered her head, loosening the towel that exposed her pure white body to Arthas. The naked young girl's delicate form, with breasts just starting to develop, could be held in the palm of a hand.

Below her sparse pubic hair, her tender labia were tightly closed. When her lovely legs were pressed together, there was not a hint of space—this is truly a maiden! When Aurelia walked in, she looked a bit oddly at the freshly washed human noble.

"Arthas, this seems to be Gilneas."

"I've arranged for someone to escort you to the Hillsbrad Foothills; the Alliance is engaged in fierce battle there. I will also lead a troop to provide support if you can wait for two more days." Lorna looked at Arthas with a hint of pleading; she was not a lovesick girl but a shrewd young lady.

Most noble girls couldn't escape the fate of being used for political marriage, even the lovely princess of Lordaeron was no exception. However, if one could find a man that they liked and that their family would approve of, it wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Among the seven nations of the Alliance, there were countless outstanding young men, but the only one truly worthy was Arthas. Prince Liam of Gilneas was already married, the prince of Alterac Kingdom was weak and ineffectual, and couldn't be of much use.

Furthermore, the other powerful family in Alterac, the Barov family, had two heirs, Wilton and Alexi, who were constantly fighting amongst themselves and dragging each other down. Recently, they had even sat idly by while their brother's army was surrounded and annihilated by orcs, leading Lothar to present a report of this failure to the head of the Barov family, which made Lord Alexei furious enough to confine those incompetent sons to the house.

Lorna could tell from the information that neither of those brothers was usable; they were completely useless, just wastes!

Prince Varian of Stormwind? It is said he already has a fiancée and is preparing to get married. She is the daughter of a great lord, very wealthy, and Stormwind also needed financial support for restoration.

The magical kingdom of Dalaran? That isn't a real kingdom; the wizards there aren't keen on having children. Moreover, it operates under a parliamentary system, which isn't a viable option for her.

Prince Galen of Stromgarde might be okay, but he seems way too reckless, his methods and style were too dark.

The maritime kingdom of Kul Tiras? Not worth considering at all; marriages there are all among the four major families, and engagements have been set up early on.

That Jaina could be accepted alongside Arthas speaks volumes about his excellence. After jumping around these options, Lorna still thought Arthas was the best among them.

Lordaeron is prosperous and strong; if she could become his partner, she would be a queen, standing equal to Jaina. Moreover, within the Alliance and the military, there is a high regard for Arthas; he is well-rounded, capable of ruling and fighting!

Even if Arthas didn't have systematic assistance before the banquet, he still knew how to maintain his reputation. The cost of being overly cautious resulted in an excellent reputation: humble, courteous, eager to learn, and capable—all remarkable traits. All these accumulations were to ensure a chance for an explosive success later on, and the arrival of the system merely made that time come a little sooner.

"No, Lorna, it would be better if you focus on leading the team; we can't afford to be distracted on the battlefield. Aurelia and I should hurry back to the front; the orcs are not as simple as we think; their commander is very cunning." Arthas rejected the girl's suggestion; traveling with a beautiful woman was great, but let's not forget, Aurelia has not become his wife yet.

He couldn't flirt in front of his soon to be wife, right? Such a despicable act was something Arthas felt he could not do; he didn't have that thick of skin.

"Alright then, Your Highness, do take care of yourself." Lorna had the servants bring two fine horses, wanting to spend a little more time with Arthas to nurture their feelings.

The soldier led over two excellent warhorses. These brown horses were well-suited for rapid assaults; although they weren't suitable for heavy cavalry, they were perfect for light cavalry. Climbing into the saddle, Arthas took Aurelia and quickly departed from Gilneas, not staying long.

Now he needed to rush back to gather first-hand intelligence on the battlefield, so he could reap the benefits he desired. After all, isn't war about profit? Since it is for profit, whose profit doesn't matter.

"That girl seems very interested in you," Aurelia remarked with a tinge of jealousy as she rode her warhorse. Arthas turned to look at Aurelia's stunning profile; the beautiful elven ranger possessed a unique charm made from a blend of feminine spirit and strength.

"Are you jealous? My reputation among the noble women is quite good; they all wish to marry me. I don't like arranged marriages; I prefer to control my own destiny. When I'm strong enough, I can shape my own fate. I can't guarantee whether I'd like other women, but I can assure you, you will always be my wife; in my heart, you are unique and irreplaceable. We've been through life and death together, and I won't forget it."

"Hmph, you just know how to charm little girls!" Aurelia said playfully, a side of her rarely seen; it gave her a different kind of allure. Arthas found himself tempted as he glanced toward the distant woods, saying mischievously,

"Wife, shall we rest over there for a moment?"

"Hmm? Already resting after just two hours?" Aurelia hadn't fully registered the intention, thinking Arthas merely wanted a break.

Once they entered the woods, she was tightly embraced by Arthas; the heat of his breath tingled her skin, and she realized she had been tricked—it was clearly a move to seduce her.

"No!" "Still saying no, yet you're already wet!" "No, ah, be gentle..." "So tight, Aurelia, I love you!" "Ah, is this how you show your love?" "Loving you, I want to indulge you fully!"
