Chapter 58 - Gathering Energy

Unlike the simple observation platform in the game, the Creator's platform in the real world is situated hundreds of meters high on a sheer cliff, with no stairs leading up to it. The magnificent structure still looks as new as it did thousands of years ago. The stripes on the marble are not for decoration, but faintly gather the energy that floats in the air. A thin, invisible membrane protects the Creator's platform, and occasionally, sightless flies and mosquitoes fly into it, only to be obliterated without even a scream!

"How are you going to get up there?" Arthas asked curiously. The next second, Nablya took him to stand on a hexagonal floor, and in an instant, they arrived in a grand hall. The momentary teleportation made Arthas squint; it was much better than any other teleportation he has experienced so far, much smoother, just showing how advanced the titans were.

He had to admit that when he was teleported from the Eastern Kingdoms to the Kalimdor continent, both he and Aurelia could hardly hold back their nausea. It was simply too disgusting; the process was extremely nauseating, and it was unclear whether it was intentional or if teleportation spells couldn't be improved.

After asking, he learned that the Blue Dragon King did this on purpose, targeting Deathwing specifically, and didn't expect to harm innocent bystanders. The teleportation magic can indeed be improved to prevent teleportation sickness, but it requires more magical power to ensure comfort. Otherwise, if you still feel like throwing up after arriving, it defeats the strategic purpose of teleportation.

The hall was very high, almost over a hundred meters to touch the arched ceiling. A throne was set in the hall, surrounded every ten meters by seven-meter-tall steel dwarven constructs standing guard; they were not lifeless, but would remain motionless without commands or intruders. Their combat power was quite formidable; it would take a considerable effort to defeat them. Just a hundred such steel dwarves could almost send an army of about fifty thousand orcs crashing to defeat or dying together!

Nablya brought Arthas to a control console, placed him on the floor, and pointed to the ancient console in front of them, which had only a few buttons and levers, making it very retro. Don't be deceived by the simplicity of these devices; the core inside is as precise as a computer.

"This is the control console of the Creator's platform. Do whatever you need to do."

Taking the opportunity, Arthas reached out and touched the cleavage of Nablya, which was quite ample, but all he felt was skin that was cold as ice. Nablya did not react at all; in her perception, the concept of sexual harassment did not exist. Even when Arthas looked under her skirt, she remained still.

"You should know how to use it. If you don't, then you must be a fake." Nablya said with some frost to her words at the end.

A commotion arose behind them; at some point, those immobile steel dwarves had surrounded them, forming a wall. It seemed Nablya was not a fool; bringing Arthas here was likely a test. If they discover that he was a fake, then it's sorry, but he will get a taste of the Iron Fists!

'Ding! Titan Ruin Creator's platform detected. Starting to access control, optimizing energy transfer, connecting to the core computational device, calculating energy in the control area, activating energy gathering device.'

'Ding! Activation successful, control over the Creator's platform obtained.'

'Creator's platform: For the majority of life forms on Azeroth, the Titans have chosen to let them evolve freely without interference. However, for the life forms in the Un'Goro Crater, the Titans will intervene more, observing how they react to environmental changes. You can use the energy gathering device of the Creator's platform to create Titan constructs; you can also create equipment, weapons, potions, and materials here, with extra qualities and functions. After each creation, the Creator's platform requires a twenty-four-hour cooldown.'

As Arthas operated the control console, drawing energy from Un'Goro Crater, the soul of Eonar began to absorb this pure energy. This energy was peculiar; it was neither like magic nor arcane energy, but rather seemed like a mysterious special energy.

'Hmm! This special energy; it's very pure, very comfortable.'

Eonar's voice was still so beautiful; even though she was quite weak, there was still a faint pressure. Titans are almost the pinnacle of combat power in the orderly universe, and no living being can oppose them.

If it works, that's enough, Arthas thought. If he could get the help of a Titan, it would make him truly unstoppable in this world. The energy here was far from sufficient to restore the Titan, but at least it could keep her awake for a while longer. Feeling the influx of energy and sensing the Titan's presence, Nablya stood humbly in place. Even when facing a creator who was not her own, she remained reserved; facing the great Creator, she had not an ounce of rebellious thought, only obedience.

The Red Dragon Queen stood outside the ruins, looking around with some surprise, her eyes revealing astonishment and delight.

"What's going on?" The Blue Dragon King Malygos sensed something was off, but had no specific clue on what.

"The life energy has been gathered into the facility; I can sense a powerful aura." The Green Dragon Queen, glanced with her beautiful eyes; some words remained unspoken, and unnecessary to say.

Aurelia was not worried; she was full of confidence in her partner. The little prince was destined to achieve great things, and she was honored to be his partner. Curiously surveying the surroundings, this was her first time coming to Kalimdor, which was previously impossible, and everything filled her with curiosity.

"Aren't you worried about him?" Onyxia felt the atmosphere was a bit dull and was glad that Aurelia was there to relieve the boredom.

"I have complete confidence in him." Aurelia smiled faintly, not knowing why, since her brother's death and resurrection, she had stumbled into a relationship with Arthas. The most intimate physical relationship was breached, leading her to gradually become trapped. It felt so good that when Arthas made another request, she had little intention of refusing.

"He truly is remarkable, the most peculiar human I've ever seen. Even before this, I had learned about him; he is very rule-abiding, occasionally attending banquets, but spends most of his time with his sister, mother, and aunt; how could such a human have great wisdom? It's too strange." Onyxia voiced her confusion; how could a child raised by just a few human women possess such vast wisdom and information?
