When Arthas saw Deathwing, he was a bit surprised and puzzled because the other's name was still green. The system's judgment was indeed strong; despite the short time since he started, he was still able to manage quite well.
A green name represents friendliness, a yellow name indicates neutrality, and a red name signifies hostility, making it very easy to distinguish. 'What are you up to?' he thought before entering the room fully.
Arthas nodded in greeting to several dragon kings, glancing playfully at Deathwing. Deathwing's expression was calm, but the occasional flicker of a vein in his mind indicated he wasn't as calm as he appeared. To endure many intolerable things requires a resolute will and perseverance.
"Alright, everyone, what do you need me for? Our time is precious, so let's cut to the chase." Arthas spread his hands; his prince status meant nothing to the guardian dragons. Even with his titan blessing, it only allowed for equal dialogue, or rather, qualified participation; anyone else would have been thrown out long ago.
The red dragon queen Alexstrasza elegantly sipped a glass of red wine, her ruby lips forming a hint of a charming curve, yet her gaze was clear, carrying a sense of innate allure.
"You say you have a solution to Deathwing's problem? If his power were stripped away, would that solve the issue?"
"Of course it can. He hears whispers because his power comes from the titian's special gift. If that gift is taken away, he will still have his original dragon abilities, which may not be comparable to his current self, but dragons should have more than just the aspect powers, right?"
Arthas was somewhat excited; if he could handle the threat of Deathwing, it would be a great thing for him.
"But the only question is, will he give up his power?"
"Even if he doesn't want to, he must give it up! Deathwing, you must atone for the mistakes you have made!" The blue dragon king clearly held a deep resentment toward his former brother. He never believed the other would turn evil, and still doesn't believe he can turn good.
"I've had quite enough of these whispers. Young prince, do you know why I sought you out?" Deathwing elegantly took a sip from a mug of ale, alleviating the whispers in his mind.
"Are you talking about some prophecy again? I've told you before, they're all lies. How can you be sure what you see isn't something someone else has woven to intentionally make you believe in it? People always just keep asking the same question over and over again if what they get aren't the answers they wanted. That is paranoia, and deliberately making you believe in that paranoia is the best form of deception." Arthas spoke as if he were a psychological master.
The black dragon princess Onyxia stood in front of the powerful guardian dragons, hardly daring to breathe. She only lowered her head, too afraid to say anything or look around; the aura of the others was too strong, and as a black dragon, she was unwelcome.
Instead, she was surprised to see Arthas, how could this seemingly despicable, shameless, and lascivious absurd prince speak with such confidence! The more she observed, the more fascinated she became. What kind of man was he? She truly wanted to clear the fog and understand him!
These words made everyone ponder, only Nozdormu, who could traverse between the future and the past, fell into contemplation. Was what he saw real? Was everything he had witnessed of his end to be real? If it weren't for the breath of the Titan's soul that emanated from Arthas appearing there, even the powerful guardian dragons wouldn't be so entangled; after all, having a bad relationship with his backer is something that should be treated with caution!
As for Deathwing, it wasn't because of favoritism that he treated Arthas differently; he had long found this human prince somewhat interesting. He had already pointed out that something was wrong from the start, but the other four dragons had ignored him, leading to a gradual worsening of his condition.
He didn't trust anyone, and if the problem couldn't be solved, then he would destroy this world to end his suffering. Not only that, but he wasn't yet as mad as he would be during the Cataclysm, still retaining considerable rationality. All of this was due to the breath of the Titan's soul; without the breath of Eonar, Arthas was nothing, mortals wouldn't be valued or treated with care at all.
"That makes some sense. Then tell me, how do we solve my problem?" Deathwing continued to ask, his expression calm, but his tightly clenched fists showed that he was not at peace inside.
"Are you willing to give up your power?" Arthas's expression was somewhat peculiar; giving up one's power is easy to say, difficult to do. It's like a wealthy man diagnosed with a terminal illness must renounce his vast fortune completely to cure it. Would he abandon his wealth then? Certainly not. In fact, he might even spit in your face – that's human nature.
"I am willing." Deathwing's expression was very calm, even without the slightest fluctuation, which was quite strange.
"Well, alright, do we want to solve the problem now? This doesn't seem like a very good place for it." Arthas glanced around the secret chamber; it was too restrictive here, and he had a bit of a selfish motive.
"It would be best to solve it now if you can. They won't hesitate to reward you, human prince." Deathwing's voice carried a hint of temptation, "Solving those green-skinned orcs wouldn't be a problem either."
"We'll handle the orcs ourselves; humans have been free of war for too long. It's time to discipline them – too much peace has led to corruption throughout the kingdom. But this is not the place to resolve things; we need to go to Kalimdor, to the Titan ruins in Un'Goro Crater. If we're going, let's hurry; I need to get back to resolve the orc war issues."
Arthas's voice was very calm; he wouldn't be attacked by the Titan guardians and could utilize the tools and instruments in the Titan ruins, which was incredibly enjoyable for him. Although the most powerful ruins are Ulduar in the north and Uldum in the south, there were also Titan ruins in Un'Goro Crater, which were personally built by Eonar.
It was a laboratory meant for observing the development of life, and there was even an inner passage that connected to the northern continent of Northrend, a large Titan laboratory in the Sholazar Basin, which was also his territory – it was the perfect opportunity!
