Chapter 50 - Despicable or Just?

"Humans, dying under my blade is your honor!" With that, Firehowl Kabath vanished, using the unique skill of the Sword Saint, Wind Step.

"Ding: Mission Triggered: Conquer the Fire Blade Clan (1), Kill Fire Roar Kabath, make a name for yourself in the Fire Blade Clan, conquer this clan, and make the burly female orc your sex slave. "

"Mission Reward: Recruit the Orc Sword Saint follower Samuro mission."

Arthas noticed that this was a kill, not a defeat; he would not let Fire Roar Kabath escape. Putting himself in Kabath's shoes, could you forgive an enemy who killed your son? Obviously not.

Arthas stood still, but the next moment he blocked a long blade that abruptly appeared from the left. Clang! Fire Roar Kabath's eyes were filled with surprise; he had mastered Wind Step to perfection and was among the top tier in the clan. How could he be discovered?

In fact, Arthas couldn't detect him at all; it's just that once Fire Roar Kabath entered the consecrated ground, he would receive more damage. And blocking was guaranteed to trigger, which made Arthas's defensive capabilities remarkable.

Although the force from the blade that hit the shield made his blood churn a bit, he managed to hold it! As long as he could survive, he had a chance to retaliate! Stab! Arthas's longsword stabbed forward but was dodged by the agile Fire Roar Kabath. The speed couldn't keep up with Kabath's evasion. Dealing with high-mobility enemies was always a headache. This wasn't a game; it was the real world.

Monsters like in the game wouldn't appear, exchanging blows back and forth. The reality was that Firehowl Kabath struck and then quickly dodged, moving aside to continue attacking. After blocking several attacks, he jumped back a few steps and suddenly leaped forward, slashing down at Arthas's shield with a bang!

Double critical damage was dealt, and Arthas couldn't help but feel that hit had managed to get past his high defense; he could feel blood rising in his throat. While the consecrated ground continuously healed, it couldn't keep up with the rapid attacks from his opponent; the healing speed couldn't match the rate of damage taken.

This was after multiple damage reductions; had it not been for the Titan's Blessing earlier, Arthas would have likely been killed instantly by Firehowl Kabath. The Orc Sword Saint was terrifying; without strength, who would dare to be a Sword Saint!

"Hammer of Justice!" A hammer of holy light descended from the sky, stunning Firehowl Kabath. Arthas immediately took out ropes from his ring to bind him.

His skilled tying made one wonder if he often did such things. He placed two gnomish explosives under Firehowl Kabath's feet, then struck towards his ankle. Stab! Blood splattered; cutting the Achilles tendon meant he couldn't move! This was a cruel method; severing tendons would leave one disabled. After these actions, Arthas jumped to the side and raised his shield.

He couldn't win against Firehowl without doing this; in terms of pure strength, his opponent far surpassed him. He was only level ten, while Kabath was already level thirty; it was crushing power. Being a Protection Paladin, if he had chosen Retribution instead, wouldn't he be dead instantly? Indeed, survival means having a chance to fight back; this is an eternal truth!

"Damn it, you little brat! Do you think you can trap me like this?" Firehowl roared angrily, muscles as thick as his arms bursting with power. The iron chains he grasped with his fingers were about to snap, his eyes turning crimson, influenced by the blood of demons, and entering a berserker state.

Just as Firehowl attempted to move, he felt something was wrong with his left foot, as if the tendon had snapped. This only made him angrier, "Despicable human, die!"

After shouting, he positioned his sword at his waist, pushing off with his right foot, charging forward; this was the warrior's charge! Locking onto the target, he rushed straight ahead, ignoring all obstacles! Boom! A huge explosion echoed, and Firehowl was blown into the air during his charge, crashing down hard.

All his fangs shattered, he was coughing blood. The powerful gnomish bomb was not to be trifled with; despite its lethal flaws, its power was impressive. It was also easy to trigger; simply throwing a stone would cause an explosion, making it extremely unstable. However, this was not a disadvantage.

Arthas kept the mines in a specialized ring, only taking them out when needed. He hadn't used them in the fortress earlier to remain covert, but now there was a chance for a one-on-one duel, he would spare no effort!

"You can die now!" After saying this, Arthas threw two consecutive hammers of light, and his longsword pierced Firehowl's neck, decapitating the dying Sword Saint. Gurgle! The head rolled aside; the Orc Sword Saint Firehowl was dead!

"Ding! Mission: Conquer the Fire Blade Clan (1) completed."

"Ding, recruited Orc Sword Saint follower Samuro."

"Recruit Orc Sword Saint follower Samuro: Not all orcs have abandoned their honor. Some orcs with noble honor were expelled from the Horde and wander alone in this land, living a reclusive life. Find Sword Saint Samuro, complete his challenge, and he will follow you."

"Followers: They are your loyal subordinates, never betraying you or being controlled by enemies. They can assist you in life and military affairs, and are absolutely exceptional subordinates."

Arthas stroked his chin, recruiting an Orc Sword Saint as a follower? It sounded good; he had indeed considered recruiting orcs as his subordinates before, as this would allow him to quickly expand his power. However, how to earn the orcs' recognition and allegiance required some time to contemplate.

Now that there was an Orc Sword Saint, it would definitely carry significant persuasion. The status of a Sword Saint among orcs was very high; they were both instructors and exceptional warriors, but could never become clan leaders. With the death of Firehowl, the surrounding orcs fell apart once more, breaking and fleeing into the forest at a faster pace. They had lost even their usual bravado, leaving only fear! It's worth noting that Firehowl was also quite famous among orcs.

With such a strong figure beheaded, how could they not be terrified? As for the means by which he was defeated, did it matter?
