They drew the line in the sand and set their positions.
"First serve!" Jace yelled, tossing the ball to Matt.
Matt served it high and the game started.
Layla nearly missing because her hands were too short apparently.
Jace was literally screaming like he was in a championship final.
Everything was just pure chaos.
The ball suddenly came flying toward Vince and Jamie.
"Get it Jamie!" Vince yelled.
"Why me?!" Jamie yelled back but he jumped anyway and barely hit the ball.
It flew over the line, right toward Caroline.
Jamie's breath skipped a beat as the ball was about to reach her. But just in time, she moved gracefully, spiking it hard.
The ball flied back, right past Jamie and hit the sand.
Caroline smiled.
"Sorry." she said sweetly.
Jamie released a breath, taking some steps back. Vince leaned in. "Damn she's good." He whispered.
"Yeah? Well don't make me his the fucking ball next time!" Jamie snapped and walked some distance away from him.
