Battler chapter 67
Battler: - Kingdom Of Battlers
Battler season 3
Night fell over the capital.
The royal palace shimmered with lights.
Princess Yumi Imoja's 22nd birthday celebration had begun.
Kings.
Queens.
Battler elites.
World leaders.
Kenji stood near the edge of the hall, dressed formally but uneasy.
Yumi approached him.
She wore a white-and-gold dress—
elegant, radiant, untouchable.
"You fought beautifully," she said softly.
Kenji nodded.
"You shouldn't have had to see that."
She smiled sadly.
"I wanted to."
Music filled the hall.
For a moment—
everything felt peaceful.
Then—
A crack echoed through the air.
The lights flickered.
Aiko's eyes snapped open.
"Kenji," she whispered urgently.
"Something's wrong."
The windows shattered.
An explosion tore through the outer hall.
Screams erupted.
Smoke poured in.
Royal Battlers moved instantly, forming barriers.
Royal General Kim drew his weapon.
"Protect the King!" he roared.
From the smoke—
Figures emerged.
Masks.
Black coats.
Killing intent.
"Eviler…" Ryo hissed.
And then—
One man walked forward without a mask.
Young.
Calm.
Smiling.
"Happy birthday, Princess," he said politely.
The hall went silent.
Yumi froze.
Kenji felt it immediately.
That pressure.
That death.
"Who are you?" King Itsuki demanded.
The man bowed mockingly.
"Toki," he replied.
"Some call me—King of Death."
The name spread like poison.
Chairman Daku stepped forward, aura flaring.
"Eviler," he said coldly.
"You dare enter this palace?"
Toki smiled wider.
"I didn't come for politics," he said.
"I came for proof."
His eyes locked onto Kenji.
"I wanted to see the man who defeated Adam."
Kenji stepped forward instinctively.
Fire stirred—but weak.
Too weak.
Toki noticed.
"Oh?" he chuckled.
"You're empty."
He raised his hand.
The floor cracked.
Royal Battlers were thrown back like dolls.
Chaos exploded.
Yumi was pulled away by guards.
"KENJI!" she screamed.
Kenji clenched his fists.
His body screamed in protest.
His karma was drained.
Baran was silent.
And Toki walked toward him—slow, confident.
"Good," Toki whispered.
"Fight me like this."
The true battle was about to begin.
