The Battle Kingdom was nothing like Kenji imagined.
Massive walls carved with ancient karma symbols surrounded the land.
Flying Battlers patrolled the skies.
The air itself felt alive—dense with power.
"This place…" Ryo muttered. "It's on another level."
Toya whistled. "Now I get why everyone fears it."
Aiko stayed silent, eyes sharp.
"There are too many V-Rank presences."
At the royal gate, armored Battlers kneeled.
"Welcome home," one said.
Kenji froze.
"…Home?"
They were escorted through Monora City—the ancient capital.
Stone streets older than nations.
Statues of legendary Battlers.
A throne visible even from afar.
Then—
Kenji felt it.
A sudden pain in his chest.
Flash.
A storm.
A child falling into the sea.
A burning sky.
He dropped to one knee.
"What's wrong?" Aiko asked.
"This city…" Kenji whispered.
"It knows me."
At the palace hall, the doors opened.
A man stood there—tall, commanding, eyes like thunder.
Itsuki Imoja.
King of the Battle Kingdom.
Beside him stood Yumi.
Her eyes widened when she saw Kenji collapse.
Itsuki stared deeply.
"So," the king said slowly,
"the lost storm has returned."
Everyone froze.
Kenji looked up.
"…You know me?"
Itsuki walked forward.
"You were born here," he said.
"In this kingdom."
Silence shattered the hall.
Kenji's world tilted.
"I was… what?"
Itsuki's voice softened.
"You are not an accident."
Yumi trembled.
Her heart raced.
Because deep inside—
She felt it too.
