The brothers never let each other feel alone even when the year comes to an end. From the harsh summer to the joyful winter, the brothers lived together.
This day is also as usual for them. Kamui yells at Kageyama as his face is frozen due to water thrown by his big brother to wake him up. They take a step out of the house, one to serve the nation and one to become the one. Kamui stops Kageyama with a question-
"Brother, in which team are you the captain?"
Kageyama replies with an empty emotion, "Don't you know? I am the captain of team 9."
Kageyama drops Kamui off at the Susan school and bids him farewell. Kamui enters the classroom as happy as he can be, but suddenly falls to the ground.
"Hey, why did you make me fall by your damn leg. " He yells at a student next to him sitting silently on the bench.
"As much as I can see, my leg is inside, and you fell due to the roller coaster emotion you were hitting when you saw Priya," he replies very calmly, not even looking at him.
Priya giggles, and Kamui gets blushed as well as frustrated as the whole class laughs at him. He ignores the guy and sits with Priya.
"So, is it true? What did Sasori say? " She asks in a way to tease him.
"Sasori?" He asks like he is clueless.
"Come on, you don't even know our classmates' names. That cool man is Sasori Suwara. "She says.
Abel interrupts the talking with his arrival. He scans all the children, smiles and says,
"I am very happy to see you all finally accomplish the first goal. You all have known your Susano nature and I assume till now no one has mastered any 2 natures-"
He gestures at Sasori as he raises his hand.
Sasori says, "Sir, I have mastered all the natures - Agni, Jal, Vayu, and Vajra, except that Prithvi! "
Abel laughs in an annoying way as the cool guy has just contradicted him.
A voice came from behind, "Well Mr. Sasori only legends can use Prithvi...like me"
Sasori turns back and stares at the eyes of Kamui and says, "Idiot" in a calm tone.
Kamui, expressing his anger, says, "Hey, I heard that! "
Abel, seeing this fighting, got annoyed, and with his awkward smile, he calmed down both the kids.
"Well, Sasori, it's true that Prithvi takes time, and I appreciate you, as you have mastered 4 natures already. Also, why don't we appreciate Kamui, the one and only who has Prithvi and the only one who finally learns to use it, but don't get cocky, Kamui. Why don't we practice it right now on the training grounds in a duel?"
All students get excited and move towards the ground. While Priya thinks about where Kamui has gone, as expected both the blue-t-shirt and black-t-shirt boys stare at each other and their expressions say the thing
"I will definitely kill you! "
At the training ground, Abel stands in the battle arena. It's a vast ground, so it has almost everything for a Susan to train.
"I will take two people's names, and they will come and duel, but remember it's a friendly duel, so don't try to hurt each other, and before every duel, we will have a lovely handshake," Abel announces.
The rivals stare at each other as they are unable to suppress their urge to kill right now and Priya says,
"You guys heard the rules or not? "
Here, Abel announces the first duel - "Alex Raven vs Sasori Suwara"
Kamui whispers to Priya, "Well he got lucky as I am not his opponent. "
Priya laughs at this comment.
Both Alex and Sasori shake hands. On the countdown of Abel, they head back for defence.
"Vajra: lightning sword"
Sasori held lightning like a sword-shaped weapon, which definitely shocked Abel, for his skills may exceed those of his master. Sasori charges towards Alex, but Alex, being frightened, doesn't dodge but tries to block with his arms.
The lightning crashed at its arm causing smoke to cover them. Sasori comes out of the smoke and waits for the condition of Alex. As the smoke slowly fades, Alex lies on the ground.
"Well, that was it. The winner is Sasori Suwara".
Kamui gets frustrated by seeing Priya clapping for his rival. Now, Abel announces the next duel- "Priya Gupta vs Alesia Chaudhary"
Both take positions and on the countdown, shake hands. Alesia starts immediately by charging towards Priya. She has locked her and pressed her neck. Priya struggles to get free, and on the audience side, Kamui cheers her.
Priya used 'Jal: water splash', an attack that caused a huge quantity of water to be launched with a huge pressure hit, setting momentum, and she escaped.
She knows that not only combinations but a single nature has many attacks if used precisely.
"Agni: spark"
While Priya was thinking, her opponent took her move and sent some extremely hot fly-sized fire balls.
"Jal:water wall"
She instantly made a water wall by slamming her hands on the ground and thanks Kamui, as this idea comes from back when Kamui tried to make a mud wall.
The wall extinguished many fireballs, but some passed through it, and Priya dodged them. She shows her speed and approaches Alesia, and before she could react, she hit her and locked her hands. Alesia sighs in disappointment.
She points her finger at the forehead of Alesia and says, "Over!"
"Well, that was it then. The winner is Priya Gupta." Abel announces
Priya returns, and Kamui, of course, like a deep lover, congratulates her.
"Now the next battle is Bob Batra vs Anay Sharma."
Bob Batra wins the battle with his Vayu: strong winds.
"Now comes the last duel, Anukul Garg vs Kamui Kazama" Abel announces.
Kamui smiles and sees Sasori.
"Whatever! " He replies.
The short-heighted guy, Anukul, and Kamui shake hands and suddenly, copying Sasori, head back to take defence.
Kamui decided to wait for his opponent to make the first strike. Anukul walks slowly over him. Kamui gets confused, and suddenly Anukul jumps a lot higher.
"Oh, so he used Vayu to jump higher huh? Smart! "
Before he could think more, he got hit with a strong punch.
Anukul smiles as he thinks he has won, but he hears a statement.
"Well well I am not gonna give up"
The beaten opponent stands and says, "So Anukul, you used Vayu up there, to boost speed and strength. "
Anukul replies, "Not strength. The higher the momentum, the higher the force."
He charges again towards him, and Kamui, being cautious now, runs right. He suddenly stops, turns back, and joins his hands.
The audience gets confused, as well as Sasori as they have never seen Prithvi.
"Prithvi: wooden obstacles"
"That's what I named it" he exclaimed with a smile.
But Anukul was cautious; he dodged the three wooden walls that emerged from the Earth.
"Prithvi: right slam"
A wooden wall, acting like a weapon, emerged and started changing its direction. From the left, it changed its course towards the right and hit tight Anukul.
Anukul got slammed but still he stands.
"Prithvi: Cage"
He tries to make a wooden cage and trap his opponent, but nothing happens.
"Prithvi: wooden cage"
He still joins his hand but just changed its name, and nothing occurs.
Anukul chuckles and says in a low tone with his blessing nose.
"Vayu: annoyed slaps"
As the name suggests, he used wind as tight slaps that hit Kamui hard from both sides. As he was already beaten up. He doesn't stand back.
"And the winner is Anukul Garg"
Kamui comes back, disappointed, but Priya increases her morale.
"Thank you Priya. You are the only one who understands me." He starts crying and hugs her.
The time for departure arrives and Kamui waits for his brother to take him home.
"Your bond is getting stronger, isn't it? With him? "Priya says.
"So you still need a babysitter? " Sasori taunts him.
Kamui says, "What's your problem even ?"
Sasori replies, "Exactly what's your problem ?"
"Now, now", a voice comes from the road. It's Kageyama.
"Well it seems like you both are best friends, right, Kamui?" He asks.
Both Kamui and Sasori simultaneously say, "Us? Friends? "
The brothers walk through the road leading to their sweet home and Kamui tells the whole story to Kageyama. Kageyama starts laughing.
"You too brother? I hate you."
And he starts punching the stomach of Kageyama.
"Now now, calm down."
He again starts laughing out loud.
"Okay, then, I will not talk to you."
Kageyama says, "Hey, look, sorry but- hahahahahhahah - you got insulted so badly that I can't stop laughing."
Suddenly Kamui sees a shadow figure on the dark side of a lantern pole. He gives a punch to Kageyama and gestures towards the pole.
Both the brothers approach there and see a kid, the same age as Kamui, but with a very fair complexion, as his face is snow, crying in the darkness.
Both brothers see each other and Kamui speaks, "Who are you ?"
The kid doesn't stop crying. Kageyama sees his untidy clothes and his shabby appearance.
"Hey, tell us the matter. We are good men, we will solve it." Kageyama says.
The kid finally stops crying and sees the brothers with his optimistic eyes.
"Well, what happened ?" Asks Kamui.
No response from the kid and Kageyama whispers to Kamui.
"Maybe he is an orphan like us or a war's consequence. "
Kamui says, "If it is then...."
Both brothers nod.
"You should come with us. You don't have a family, right? We too. You can come with us. Live a happy life and be brothers."
Finally, the kid decided to speak in a very low tone.
"Brothers ?" With a voice so full of sadness that it mirrors the useless wars' cruelness.
Kamui replies, "yes brothers. I am Kamui and here is my big brother Kageyama. You should join our family. "
The duo takes the kid to their home without any discrimination.
"Tada!!"
The duo says, but suddenly realized in the haste of heading towards Susan's school, they get their home messed up with garbage.
Kageyama and Kamui get a goal to clean the house and Kageyama washes the clothes of the kid.
"We will make ourselves a delicious dinner. You know, brother is a good cook." Kamui says to the confused kid.
"Hey Kamui, would you show up here?" The voice comes from the kitchen.
Having organised the dining table, the three brothers sit together and enjoy the meal. The kid has his first bite of the meat. He eats it and Kamui as well as Kageyama stare at him. When the kid looked at them, they turned their heads and acted like they were not curious.
"Delicious!" Said the kid, finally, with his original voice.
The boys liked the 13-year-old child and laughed. The boy also laughs with them.
"So what's your name ?"Kageyama asks
He replies with a pause, as if he thinks something, "Toji."
Kamui adds, "Toji Kazama. That is from now on, right brother?"
Kageyama stares at the white glowing t-shirt of Toji, where in capital, in bold, was written in Red like blood upon the snow - "N".
At the bed time, there was only one bed for three people. Back when the parents of Kamui lived, Kamui used to sleep in the middle.
"Come on, come to the middle," Kageyama says to Toji.
First, he hesitates, but then eventually sleeps with them. During the late night, Kageyama's sleep is broken, and he gets up. He looks at his family, and both Toji and Kamui look cute while sleeping. Toji has a face so handsome and mature at his age, and his hair is extra tall but set.
Kageyama smiles and closes his eyes. He thanks the god for giving him the best family he could have ever, for now he has two brothers to look after.
