Adjuchas, however, are not weak either. The weaker ones can hold their own against Lieutenant-level Shinigami, while the stronger ones can even match Captain-level Shinigami.
Judging by his earlier performance, Toshiro's strength is at least Lieutenant-level. To push him to the brink, at least an Adjuchas that can rival Captain-level must be dispatched.
Currently, the strongest Hollows under Aizen's control are Captain-level Adjuchas.
