Smoke and dust choked the shattered corridor as the two figures crashed through what remained of the facility's inner hall. Concrete screamed under pressure, steel warped like paper, and the air itself trembled with every exchange.
All Might moved first.
He vanished in a burst of compressed air and reappeared in front of All For One, fist already drawn back.
"CAROLINA SMASH!"
The punch detonated on impact. A shockwave tore through the corridor, pulverizing walls and launching debris in every direction. All For One slid backward, boots carving trenches into the floor as his coat snapped violently behind him.
"Hmph," All For One muttered, unfazed. "Still relying on brute force, Toshinori?"
He raised a hand.
Dozens of quirks activated at once.
Black tendrils erupted from the floor. Air pressure reversed violently. A burst of kinetic force slammed into All Might's side, throwing him through a support pillar. The pillar collapsed instantly.
All Might twisted midair, slamming his feet into the ground and skidding to a halt. He did not stop moving.
"TEXAS SMASH!"
The punch came from below, launching All For One upward. The ceiling above them shattered as the villain crashed through it. All Might followed immediately, rocketing upward after him.
They collided midair.
Fists met shields. Shockwaves rippled outward like expanding rings, blowing out every remaining light in the chamber. All For One countered with a pulse of repulsion, then followed it with a concentrated blast of fire and compressed wind.
All Might crossed his arms, muscles straining as the attack engulfed him.
The blast pushed him through two floors.
He landed hard, cracking the ground beneath his feet, but he did not fall.
His teeth clenched. His eyes burned.
"Do not speak her name," All Might growled.
All For One floated down slowly, his silhouette framed by fire and swirling debris.
"Oh?" All For One said pleasantly. "Still sensitive about Nana Shimura?"
The words hit harder than any quirk.
"She believed in you," All For One continued, his voice smooth and venomous. "Believed you could save everyone. And where did that leave her?"
All Might roared.
"NEBRASKA SMASH!"
He surged forward, unleashing a relentless barrage. Punch after punch hammered All For One's defenses, each blow tearing chunks out of the structure around them. The corridor ceased to exist, replaced by a widening crater.
All For One was forced back, boots scraping, shields flaring under the assault.
"So predictable," he said, though his tone sharpened. "Emotion has always been your weakness."
He spread his arms.
"Let me show you mine."
The air screamed.
Gravity twisted. Heat, force, pressure, and kinetic energy layered together into a single point in front of him. The ultimate quirk combination erupted forward like a cannon.
The blast hit All Might head-on.
The impact was catastrophic.
All Might was launched through the far wall and buried beneath tons of rubble. The remaining structure collapsed inward, sealing the crater with dust and silence.
All For One straightened his coat.
"...And that should be the end of it," he said calmly.
The dust shifted.
Something moved.
Before All For One could turn, a blur shot out of the rubble.
Gran Torino's fist slammed against the barrier and stopped dead.
The impact cracked the floor beneath them, shockwaves rippling outward, but the shield held.
All For One barely moved.
"Tsk," he said. "Still struggling, old man?"
Gran Torino grit his teeth, jets roaring as he pushed harder. "You always hide behind stolen power."
All For One's eyes narrowed slightly. "Power is power. Yours failed Nana. Just like it failed you."
Gran Torino's breath hitched.
"...Say her name again," he growled.
All For One smiled.
"Nana Shimura died believing in a delusion."
For just a moment, his focus stayed on Gran Torino.
That moment was enough.
The rubble behind him exploded.
A blur tore through the dust.
All Might burst out, fist already drawn back.
"I WILL KILL YOU ALL FOR ONE!"
"UNITED STATES OF SMASH!"
Before the barrier could reform, All Might's punch landed squarely.
The impact shattered the air. Creating a storm that changed the weather. The clouds parted and moonlight illuminated the scene.
All For One's face caved into a bloody mess as All Mights punch left him in a crater, the shockwave ripping through the facility and out into the city beyond.
Gran Torino was blasted back coughing as he hit the building.
All Might landed hard on his knees, steam pouring from his body, eyes still burning as he stared into the crater left behind. All for One's was destroyed, now just a bloody mess.
All Might remained on his knees, chest rising and falling in heavy breaths as steam poured from his body. The strength that had carried him through the fight was fading fast, leaving behind only exhaustion and ringing silence.
It was over.
The crushing presence that had weighed on the air was gone. The battlefield lay still, broken concrete and twisted steel settling into place.
Gran Torino pushed himself upright, coughing as he brushed dust from his jacket. He looked toward the crater, eyes narrowed.
"Toshinori...," he said quietly. "You really did it, Toshinori."
All Might let out a long breath, shoulders slumping. "Sensei..."
He relaxed, just for a moment.
From beneath the rubble, something moved.
A sound like grinding metal echoed through the crater. A pulse of malicious intent flared, sharp and sudden.
All For One's body twitched.
Then his hand moved.
A cluster of stolen quirks activated at once, compressed and layered together in a desperate, unstable combination. Air warped. Energy screamed. He barely had time to register it.
All Might barely had time to turn.
A beam of condensed force tore free from the crater, screaming straight toward him. He tried to rise, to raise his guard, but his body refused to respond fast enough. He was too close.
A sharp clang split the air.
The attack shattered apart, sliced cleanly in two before it could reach him. The force dispersed harmlessly, scattering light and debris across the ruined corridor.
All Might's eyes widened.
Standing in front of him was a small figure in white robes with the Astrea family crest, feet firmly planted, sword lowered after a single, precise swing. The blade was still in its sheath.
"Reinhard...?" All Might whispered.
The boy turned his head slightly, just enough to glance back.
"Are you alright?" Reinhard asked gently.
Gran Torino stared, stunned. "...Who is this kid?"
Reinhard faced forward again, attention returning to the crater where All For One's body twitched weakly beneath the debris.
"I followed you," Reinhard said calmly. "I thought... you might need help."
All Might felt something swell in his chest, warm and fierce all at once. Pride, sharp and undeniable.
"You did good," he said, voice steady despite the exhaustion. "That was perfect timing. But you shouldn't have came here."
Reinhard relaxed a fraction at that, shoulders easing. "I am sorry," he replied. "I did not want to interfere. I only wanted to make sure you were safe."
From the rubble, All For One's distorted voice crawled out, groaning.
Reinhard stepped forward, placing himself between All Might and the crater once more. Not defensively, but naturally, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
"You should rest," Reinhard said softly, without looking back. "You have already done more than enough."
Reinhard paused.
"Now I will do what I was born to do: hunting monsters"
Reinhard van Astrea raised his sheathed blade.
