Two weeks after the incident where Issac was kidnapped by The Saints, guild found no solid clues upto this point on whereabouts of this organization.
Kael, Willy, and Noel were trying to investigate, failed to get further clues. The guild branch of H-Type city seemed to be in a rush since their ace card- Issac went missing.
Kael and other two members were roaming around the H-Type city mindlessly with clueless expression.
"It's so hard to find them or get any single clue on them." spoke Noel with her heads down.
"Noel...Even I am losing my hope at this point. But I can't give up..." said Willy, with a stern look on his face.
"Hey...Willy.... aren't you getting worked up? You haven't even eaten properly since that incident. Come on! Pull yourself together! You can't keep this up if you don't rest!" exclaimed Noel, geniunely looked worried while scolding Willy.
"What? Are you saying that I SHOULD leave those bastards alone? They even got Issac! I don't want Issac to end up like us. Don't you remember how they treated us at the prison!? You are a waste Noel! Get out!" said Willy with extreme rage and spoke harshly.
"Why are you acting like this!? All I was worried about your health and y-you never spoke like that to me before...." replied Noel while stammering.
"....N-Noel...listen...I apolo-" just when Willy tried to apologise while getting close, Noel gestured Willy to stop coming near her.
Noel looked hurt by those words Willy had used. She ran away as Kael had noticed drops of test shedding from her eyes.
"N-Noel! Wait!....Damn it....I shouldn't had vent my anger on her...." said Willy in low voice, looking down and realising what he had done.
Kael could notice the heated situation his allies had gotten into. He didn't responded.
"Sorry Kael, you had to see both of us like this....I guess I am not thinking carefully. Can you give me some space? I would be back and try to apologise her. And if possible, can you uh....um.... please try to look after her until." said Willy.
"She gets emotional sometimes, but I guess I went too harsh on her. I hope you could bring her back....She is precious to me... because.... nevermind... Please do that for me...." continued Willy, and left Kael alone after saying it.
Kael had sensed that Willy might be hiding something as his expressions had also hint at potential trauma. That was one possibility Kael had thought of based on Willy's behaviour patterns.
Kael silently watched Willy walk further ahead.
Kael pondered something and went inside the guild bar. He looked at guild receptionist with a similar look like last time.
"Fck....not again....that look.....I hope he doesn't ask another risky favour!" Muttered receptionist in low voice, pretending not to see Kael.
But Kael boldly stood in front of Receptionist.
"Kael.... Please.... don't look at me with that stoic face.... besides I can still read your mind a little....you are gonna ask me another risky favour right?" said Receptionist as Kael nodded in response.
"I knew it. I am so done...." replied Guild Receptionist with a grim look as if he knew he can't deny Kael for some reason.
"This is last time ok! Last time! After this, I won't help you, you hear me? Now with that, please be fast and tell me what is your favour." asked Guild Receptionist.
Kael explained something which receptionist absolutely wanted to refuse. However Receptionist was just too kind that he accepted the risky request with a regretting look on his face. His tears flowing down while nodding and accepting Kael's favour.
With that, Kael left the guild bar and began to search for Noel.
For almost four hours, Kael had never struggled this much to find a mere girl. However he found out someone who saw Noel near the particular local park, sitting on bench.
Kael walked in that direction and found Noel actually sitting on the bench. It seemed like Noel had sensed Kael's presence and quickly wiped her tears off.
Kael went ahead as he asked permission to sit besides Noel.
"Sorry you can't sit. Go away please." said Noel with a little playful tone as she joked around but then allowed Kael to sit.
"Kael, sorry you had to see me like that. I shouldn't have just ran away like that. I know Willy since childhood. We are close friends. And yet I shouldn't have ran away. I shouldn't leave him like that." continued Noel, regretting her actions.
"We both had suffered a lot and we were always together to overcome all our suffering, ending up joining guild later." said Noel.
Noel spoke as if she remembered something unpleasant. The expression was similar to Willy when she began to think back on her past.
Kael was observing her patterns but couldn't find more clues.
"I know I should support him but he just doesn't listen and doesn't care about himself. That's the most annoying thing he does! Isn't that right? He should always apologise to me too!" exclaimed Noel, changing her mood and throwing a tantrum like a kid.
But her expression got serious.
"Hey Kael, I want to go back and apologise to him....He always cares about others before himself. He is still at fault but...I should stay by his side. I hope he just care about himself a little bit more and have some rest...." said Noel.
"Giving up isn't defeat after all....it just means you are resting and thinking for more opportunities. I don't want him to suffer....I just hope he understands that..." continued Noel.
"Noel...I overheard your conversation but....I am sorry...I shouldn't had scolded you....you are right....I should take some rest and recover. I apologise...." said Willy, from behind.
"Aaahhhh!" Noel jumped off of the bench after Willy's sudden entrance.
"Y-You! How long were you there you dummy! A-And....I....I apologise." Apologised Noel after calming herself down.
"I should be the one to apologise to you....Let's forget about that....I will listen to you....I should take some rest...So please stay by my side." said Willy.
Noel blushed at Willy after that response.
"I....I see.... anyways it's almost night time...let's eat dinner and recover our strength." said Noel.
Kael silently observed them both as they looked happy.
And with that, Kael also joined them for dinner.
