Drake didn't return empty-handed. He brought back some wine from the tavern, including rum and fruit wine.
The rich dishes, now paired with good wine, made the meal even more delicious.
Kagura, Klee, and Kanna shared a bottle of fruit wine together. Kyoma allowed it, since they wanted a taste.
As expected, Kagura fell asleep after just one glass and collapsed on the dining table. Kyoma carried her back to the bedroom.
Klee couldn't handle it after one sip.
She choked on the wine and stuck out her tongue, her cute little expression making everyone laugh.
In the end, the whole bottle of wine went into Kanna's stomach. She seemed addicted to it. After drinking a glass, her eyes lit up, and she downed the bottle directly.
The main reason was that the fruit wine of the Sabaody Archipelago tasted good.
"You're so cool, Kanna." Klee's eyes sparkled.
"It's sweet and delicious." Kanna's voice floated slightly, her eyes unfocused, and her head bobbed as if unsupported. She looked a little drunk.
"Kyoma, do you have any more?" She had finished the bottle in her arms and looked at Kyoma eagerly.
"That's all for now. We'll have more next time."
Kyoma didn't dare let her drink anymore, not because he worried she would get sick from drinking. He didn't need to worry about the body of a dragon, but because he feared Kanna would lose control after drinking too much. If she accidentally leaked some of her power, it would be catastrophic.
He still remembered the energy wave that Kanna had casually created earlier, something that could genuinely destroy a city.
Then he saw Kanna staring at the wine he hadn't finished yet, ready to pounce.
Kyoma panicked and hurriedly raised his glass to drain it in one breath.
He drank too quickly and choked, coughing several times.
Cough, cough!
"Hmph..." Kyoma heard Kanna's disappointed hum, though he wasn't sure if it was his imagination.
She put her hands on her hips and turned her head away from him.
Kyoma could only see her puffed-up, reddened face, clearly showing her bad mood.
Kyoma felt helpless, realizing he was too exhausted to enjoy this meal.
Not only did he have to cook, but he also had to look after these three constantly, with no time to rest.
But there was no helping it.
After all, they were summoned by him, so Kyoma took it as practice for the days of raising his own daughters in the future.
He got up and went back to the refrigerator in the house to find a few bottles of fruit juice drinks, then coaxed Kanna again.

Late at night.
Klee and Kanna finally fell asleep at the dining table, and the exhausted Kyoma had to carry them back to their room one by one.
After tucking them into bed and covering them with blankets, Kyoma was finally able to escape the busyness.
After a long day, he finally returned to his bedroom.
He was a little sleepy and collapsed on the bed.
He closed his eyes but didn't fall asleep directly.
Instead, he focused his mind on his summoning ability space.

First, he took a quick look at the character panel.
The various abilities had increased a little compared to before. Although not much, this solid sense of improvement gave him the motivation to keep training.
Then he checked the summoning panel.
[Time remaining until next character summon: 7 days (summoning condition: 100 million Berry)]
'The time has increased from 3 days to 7 days, which isn't too bad, and the summoning condition hasn't continued to expand threefold as I expected.'
From three days to seven days, from 80 million to 100 million Berry.
He remembered that the first summoning cost 10 million Berry, and now it had become 100 million for the fourth time.
Kyoma vaguely found a pattern.
This summoning pool increases in stages.
Every three summoned characters count as one stage. The summoning cooldown time of each stage is fixed, and the unit of summoning conditions changes from tens of millions to hundreds of millions, billions, and tens of billions.
Ten billion... According to this calculation, it would take a full ten billion Berry to summon the tenth character. (T/N: The first stage was at 10m, the second was at 100m, the third would be at 1B, and each stage allows three characters, which means the tenth would be at 10B)
Whitebeard's bounty is only five billion, which means you'd need to catch two Whitebeards to barely summon one character.
This was absolutely outrageous.
Kyoma's scalp tingled just thinking about it.
He really didn't know where he'd get so much money in the future.
However, he was somewhat relieved that the summoning medium this time was relatively simple, and he only needed one day to gather it.
[Summoning medium: A pair of scissors used by a barber; A cane used by ordinary people; A cherry blossom and a peach blossom]
"Scissors, a cane, and flowers?"
Kyoma pondered, thinking about the possibility of who the corresponding person might be, but in the end, except for a slight grasp on the scissors, he had no clue about anything else.
Thinking about it, he gradually fell asleep.

The next day, early morning.
In a certain city not far from the Sabaody Archipelago, a place known as the hell of pirates and the great prison under the sea.
After a night of struggle, pain, and desperate roars.
Mr. 2 Bon Clay of the former Baroque Works, Emporio Ivankov, known as the "Miracle Person," and his assistant, "Inazuma," holding a cup of coffee, along with a large group of unconventional revolutionaries behind them, were now staring at the iron door with breathless anticipation.
With a creak, the iron door slowly opened, and a boy with bandages wrapped all over his body and wearing a straw hat walked through the doorway.
"Luffy."
"Straw Hat Boy."
"Straw Hat Boy."
Everyone cheered. Many people, including Bon Clay, were in tears.
Because they witnessed a miracle with their own eyes, a miracle of a person who was eroded by Magellan's venom and regained his life under Ivankov's hormones.
The brim of the hat cast shadows, and under the scattered hair, only a pair of bloodshot eyes were visible, emitting a firm light.
"Ace, I'm coming to save you."

Another place.
Not far from Marineford, hundreds of meters deep in the sea, no one could have imagined that there was a massive fleet advancing at this moment.
At the front of the fleet, on an incredibly large ship.
A man with pineapple-shaped hair jumped down from the mast, his arms transforming into blue wings wreathed in flames, and he flew steadily to the deck.
"Pops, we've passed the Gate of Justice. The position above us is the center of Marineford."
He reported the situation to the man sitting in the middle of the boat with a respectful look.
"Yeah."
Whitebeard nodded and looked up at the sea surface, faintly glowing above.
An extremely long pole with a curved, broad blade at the end stood next to him.
He reached for it but was blocked by the infusion tube in his hand. Under the stunned gaze of Marco next to him, he directly pulled out the needles.
"Wait, Pops." Marco panicked.
"Gurarara."
"Advance, my sons. Let's save your foolish brother!"
