Sabaody Archipelago, early morning.
As soon as the sky brightened, Kyoma pulled Kagura and Klee out the door.
Through the misty streets, the three of them made their way to a remote seaside.
Going out so early was, of course, to summon a new companion.
The reason he hadn't chosen the basement as the summoning location this time was that Kyoma had a hunch that something big might arrive due to the nature of the summoning medium.
He worried their house would be damaged.
[Summoning conditions: 80 million Berry (achieved)]
[Summoning medium: a dragon scale (achieved)]
[Do you want to start?]
"Start the summoning." Kyoma's voice trembled with excitement.
The moment he spoke, the two beside him, who'd been rubbing their sleepy eyes in a daze, suddenly snapped awake.
They felt a gust of wind blow against their faces, lifting their uncombed hair and scattering it behind them.
Then it appeared.
Blue light manifested on the ground, the glow emitted by the summoning magic circle.
Because they were outdoors this time, the light wasn't as bright as before, but its coverage area was much larger than the previous two summons.
In the center of the summoning circle, space cracked with a sharp sound. Suddenly, a spatial fissure nearly ten meters from top to bottom appeared, continuing to expand outward and gradually forming a black, mysterious vortex.
The main event had arrived.
Kyoma, Kagura, and Klee opened their eyes wide simultaneously.
Under their expectant gazes, an enormous head emerged from the vortex.
White fur, blue eyes, a sharp avian beak, and a soft, animal-like face that gives her a foxlike impression.
"So beautiful!" Klee exclaimed, covering her mouth.
Kagura's eyes also filled with wonder.
She obviously adored this magical creature, though she felt somewhat confused.
This didn't look like the dragon Kyoma had mentioned, did it?
It indeed wasn't the scaled, ferocious dragon that Kyoma had imagined.
However, when this white creature, more than twenty meters long, emerged completely from the vortex, Kyoma gradually understood.
It wasn't like the dragons he knew at all, but a white electric dragon with white feathers or fur and head features similar to a fox and bird hybrid. Though one can also say it resembles a pterosaur.
No wonder Drake's scale had served as a summoning medium. It seemed they were both related to dinosaurs.

Kanna was a young dragon.
Not long ago, she'd been exiled to this space by her tribe because she'd caused too many troubles.
A dead, silent, and boundless exile space.
She couldn't return home and had become a wandering dragon, not knowing where to go in the illusory space.
After an unknown amount of time, when she'd finally decided to visit a place called Earth, a voice suddenly entered her mind.
"Sea...
Kyoma...
Friend?"

[Successfully summoned Kanna Kamui from the Dragon Maid anime world...]
[Host obtains the Dragon bloodline and the ability: Dragonization]
As the voice sounded in his mind, before Kyoma could react, he felt his body suddenly change.
It was as if an enormous ball of energy had been forced into him.
He couldn't help but roar out in pain.
"ROAR!"
Shockingly, the sound he produced became particularly deep and completely unlike anything a human could make. It sounded more like a beast's roar.
"Kyo-chan?"
"Kyoma-ni?"
Kagura and Klee slowly opened their mouths wider.
Their eyes kept rising, gradually turning upward until they were looking straight up. They stood shrouded in an enormous shadow.
After roaring, Kyoma clearly felt the discomfort disappear.
His body felt extremely relaxed, as if he could fly into the air with a simple flap of his wings.
'Wait... wings?'
Kyoma froze.
He realized his perspective had become higher and farther. Klee and Kagura on the ground were now much shorter.
He couldn't even see them without lowering his head because it covered them.
Before him stretched the treetop of the Yarukiman mangrove. He could even make out the Red Line wall in the distance.
Moreover, his vision was exceptionally clear, as if an extra layer of clarity had been added.
The original high-definition view had transformed into something even sharper. Every flower, blade of grass, and tree within hundreds of meters appeared like images under a magnifying glass. He could see morning dew and the texture of plant stems at a glance.
'Am I... a dragon?'
Kyoma looked down at his body.
Red feathers, furry skin, a bird's beak where his mouth should be, and a pair of wings measuring more than ten meters across.
Kyoma glanced toward the sea with sudden understanding.
Sure enough, the reflection on the water's surface was no longer the handsome figure he was familiar with, not even human.
Instead, a huge red dragon stared back at him.
The form looked exactly like the Kanna he'd just summoned, just a colorized version at the same scale.
Kyoma raised his head and looked at Kanna hovering in the sky. He could feel a close connection with her, the same feeling he shared with Kagura and Klee.
He opened his character panel.

[New summoning pool unlocked: Item Summoning. Time until next item summon: 3 days (summoning condition: 10 million Berry)]

'New summoning pool? What can be summoned from it?' Kyoma felt slightly confused.
But soon, his summoning ability transmitted information directly into his brain, and he suddenly understood.
The items summoned by this pool all came from the worlds where his summoned characters originated.
Tools, weapons, daily necessities, medicine, and more. What would be summoned depended on luck, and it could only be used once every three days.
It was essentially a luck-based summon with no guarantees. The advantage was that it only cost 10 million Berry each time.
While Kyoma studied his summoning ability's new function, Kanna had quietly approached.
She also felt the intimate connection between them, so she flew over without any wariness. She circled Kyoma twice, then rubbed against him affectionately.
"Are you Kyoma? You're a dragon too?"
Judging from his scent, Kyoma was indeed a dragon, so Kanna asked in dragon language.
"..."
But Kyoma obviously didn't understand. He'd only obtained a portion of the dragon bloodline. He could be considered a hybrid. He could transform into a dragon because of a skill called [Dragonization].
"I don't understand," Kyoma answered in the language of the One Piece world. Although he couldn't comprehend dragon language, he knew that companions summoned by his ability would naturally learn this world's language.
"Why can't you understand? Have you been exiled too?" After hearing his words, Kanna's voice transformed into a crisp, tender human voice that sounded very similar to Klee's voice, though not quite as lively.
"Exiled?"
Kyoma felt stunned.
Fortunately, he'd watched this anime before transmigrating and remembered Kanna's story.
She'd kept playing pranks on her tribe because deep down she wanted to attract others' attention.
Because her behavior and magic had been too extreme, and she destroyed stuff and acted carelessly, she'd been driven out.
Then she'd gone to a certain office worker's house on Earth to become a dragon maid.
But it seemed he'd intercepted her before she could reach Earth.
"Well, not exactly exiled. I'm just traveling," Kyoma answered carefully, unsure how to explain his situation.
"Traveling?" Kanna tilted her large dragon head, her blue eyes blinking with curiosity.
Before Kyoma could respond, he suddenly felt his body beginning to shrink.
His wings retracted, his feathers disappeared, and within moments, he'd returned to his human form.
He stood on the beach, slightly dizzy from the transformation.
"Kyo-chan, are you okay?" Kagura rushed over immediately, concern evident in her voice.
"Kyoma-ni! That was amazing. You turned into a dragon." Klee bounced excitedly beside him, her eyes sparkling with wonder.
"I'm fine," Kyoma assured them, though he felt somewhat exhausted.
The transformation had drained more energy than he'd expected.
"Kanna, can you change into a smaller form?"
The white dragon in the sky tilted her head again, then began to glow with soft light.
Her enormous body shrank rapidly until only a small, white-haired girl remained, floating gently down to land before them.
She looked to be about the same age as Klee, with long white hair in ponytails, blue eyes, and small horns protruding from her head.
She wore a white dress with a pink ribbon, and her tail swished behind her curiously.
"Is this better?" Kanna asked, her voice now matching her small form.
"Much better," Kyoma replied with a smile.
He bent down to her eye level.
"Welcome to our crew, Kanna."
