Night deepened gradually, and everything fell silent except for the chirping of cicadas outside the window and the rustling sound of the sea breeze blowing through the doors and windows.
Kyoma's house.
The living room inside the house was brightly lit.
The four of them had already filled their stomachs completely.
While "chef" Kyoma and "injured" Drake sat on the sofa to rest, Kagura and Klee volunteered to wash the dishes.
After hearing the crisp sound of dishes touching the ground, Kyoma finally couldn't bear it any longer and drove them both out.
In fact, driving out Klee alone would have been sufficient. In the past, when only Kyoma and Kagura lived together, he was responsible for cooking while Kagura handled the cleanup after eating.
Surprisingly, Kagura was quite skilled at these household tasks.
After running away from home, she'd basically done everything possible to survive, though she was kicked out every time because she did it too badly. Just when she was about to become a thug in the underworld, she'd been summoned here by Kyoma.
Every time he heard her talk about her past experiences, Kyoma felt sad for her.
Klee was the opposite.
Because of her age and status, she'd been taken care of by servants in Mondstadt. She'd never washed dishes before in her life.
When Kyoma emerged after washing the dishes himself, he found that the three people in the living room were getting along quite well.
Drake was telling them about his experiences at sea.
After all, he was the only local "native" among the four people, and his understanding of this world far surpassed the other three.
Kagura and Klee were having ice cream while listening carefully to his stories.
"Kyo-chan, I want to go to Fish-Man Island." After seeing Kyoma come out, Kagura rushed over immediately.
"Kyoma-ni, Klee wants to go to Water 7. There's water everywhere, so there must be lots of fish." Klee's eyes were full of hope and excitement.
Obviously, both of them had heard about these places from Drake during their conversation.
"Well, Fish-Man Island will be our first destination after the ship is built if nothing goes wrong. As for Water 7, it may take a long time. After all, we have to go to the New World first, to Dressrosa."
Kyoma answered seriously.
"Great." Kagura cheered enthusiastically.
Klee seemed a little disappointed, and the light in her eyes dimmed slightly. But after thinking of something, it suddenly lit up again brightly.
"Kyoma-ni, are fishmen a special kind of fish?"
As she said that, she rubbed her hands together excitedly.
Kyoma instantly understood what she was planning to do and quickly waved his hand to stop her.
"That's not allowed. You can't blow them up. Fishmen are also a humanoid race. They're creatures with the same intelligence as humans. You must not hurt them after you arrive at Fish-Man Island."
"Oh, so fishmen aren't fish. Klee won't hurt them, Kyoma-ni."
Hearing this explanation, Klee nodded, though there was a hint of loneliness on her face that she couldn't hide.
"Klee, don't forget that we'll be sailing all the way there. How can there be few fish in the sea? And you probably haven't seen the Sea Kings in this world yet. They're all big fish, larger than boats."
Kyoma couldn't help but rub her head gently and comfort her.
"Bigger than... bigger than boats?"
'How powerful would a bomb need to be to blow them?'
After hearing his words, Klee was stunned, as if overwhelmed by the sudden surprise.
After a long period of processing this information, she finally came back from her thoughts. With a spirited expression on her face, she ran toward her room with her small leather bag bouncing on her back.
She was going back to try to make a stronger bomb.
"Kyoma-ni, Kagura-ni, and Drake, Klee has something to do and has to go back to her room early."
Klee, who possessed elf blood, was small and ran like a gust of wind.
She disappeared up the stairs in a flash, and they only heard the sound of a door opening and closing.
The remaining three looked at each other.
Soon after, Kagura also felt sleepy and went upstairs to sleep, leaving only Kyoma and Drake in the living room.
"What are you going to Dressrosa for?"
When Kyoma and Klee had mentioned Dressrosa just now, Drake's expression had been somewhat strange.
Few people knew that he had some connection with Doflamingo. Thirteen years ago, his father wanted to sell the Op-Op Fruit and had died at Doflamingo's hands because he'd coveted this Fruit worth 5 billion Berries.
Drake himself had been lucky to escape the island and was rescued by Vice Admiral Tsuru.
So when he heard news about Doflamingo again, certain emotions rose in his heart.
"Of course I'm going to deal with him. Do you want to come with me?"
Kyoma smiled slightly, his eyes flickering with thoughts.
He remembered Drake's background story from the original plot, and maybe there was a chance to pull him onto the ship to attack Doflamingo as well.
And it wasn't just Drake.
There was also Law, who hated Doflamingo the most.
According to Kyoma's guess, Law was most likely staying near the Sabaody Archipelago now, so that he could show up in time to rescue Luffy and Jinbe when the war at the top was about to end in the original plot.
If Law knew that someone was going to attack Doflamingo, he would probably come to Kyoma without invitation.
"What? Are you talking about challenging a Warlord of the Sea?"
Drake was stunned in place.
He suspected he'd heard wrong, but after seeing Kyoma nod affirmatively, he pointed at himself and Kyoma in a daze.
"The two of us? Fight a Warlord of the Sea?"
It was no wonder he was so shocked.
He knew that his current strength level was that of a Supernova among pirates, and at most, a Rear Admiral in the Marines.
In any case, he wasn't in the same league as the Warlords of the Sea.
"It's not just the two of us."
"If you agree, we'll have five people: me, you, Kagura, Klee, and Uncle Neil from the shipyard."
Kyoma said calmly, his tone very relaxed and casual, as if he were explaining what to eat for breakfast.
"..."
Drake was silent.
Hearing Kyoma's tone, he realized the young man wasn't joking at all.
This person, who had a vague relationship with Admiral Kizaru, actually wanted to challenge a Warlord of the Sea with just a few people.
He didn't hate this kind of courage.
In fact, he admired it deeply. During his years of training at the Marine base, he'd also wanted to find Doflamingo to avenge his father, but in the end, he'd given up because of his lack of strength.
But admiration aside, his current identity was that of a rational Marine spy, and he'd long passed the age of acting impulsively.
"Do you know what you're talking about? Let's not even discuss why you want to mess with Doflamingo, but I want to tell you that, except for Mihawk, the other Warlords of the Sea aren't solitary people. They all have huge forces behind them."
"So you won't only face one Warlord, but thousands of enemies."
He said earnestly, while observing Kyoma's eyes.
He wanted to see the same look of hesitation in Kyoma's eyes that he himself had after learning how powerful Doflamingo was, but the result disappointed him.
There were all kinds of emotions in those eyes, but there was no fear whatsoever.
Drake was genuinely shocked this time, his eyes filled with disbelief, as if he were seeing the young man before him for the very first time.
Because this young man suddenly burst out with a king-like sharp momentum.
It seemed as if a gust of wind rose in the room. The doors and windows trembled, and the table legs shook.
Drake felt an oncoming pressure that made him unable to move for a while.
There was no mistake. This was [Conqueror's Haki].
'He actually has such talent. No, wait. Could it be that he's really not a Marine?'
