They call it Team Arata.
A group of students, meticulously trained, perfectly synchronized. Heroes in training — at least, that's what everyone believed.
I didn't care.
Yet, there I was, forced to watch as Kira guided me toward them. "Observe," she said. "You'll understand why the world doesn't leave some people alone."
The leader of Team Arata bowed formally. "Senpai Takumi," he introduced himself. Polite. Calculated. Perfect. Fake.
I smirked, hood over my eyes. I didn't need friends. Didn't need admiration. Didn't need a team.
But… I couldn't ignore their skill. Even without trying, I noted every subtle movement, every coordination, every flaw.
One of them, a girl with sharp eyes, caught my glance. She tilted her head, curious, like she sensed I was different.
I looked away. Didn't matter.
"Senpai Takumi, you'll join us in the next trial," Kira said softly. "You have a choice — engage or disappear. But the world isn't letting you disappear."
I didn't answer. Couldn't. I didn't want to.
And yet, for the first time, I wondered if staying invisible was even possible anymore.
