I wasn't able to finish it off. We missed our chance and only chance for escape, but this is not the end; there are still plenty of opportunities, but for now. Retreat is a must.
My float quirk is out of the question. I can't navigate this place properly; there are too many turns and too many strange constructions.
Not only that, it's way too structurally crowded, and there aren't many open spaces.
I managed to coil both Megumi Fushiguro and Ryuen Kakeru with my black whip, pulling them straight towards me as I ran away. Mahoraga, a shikigami, gave chase, but I managed to outmaneuver it with my smokescreen quirk and destroyed some walls to slow it down.
My smokescreen quirk was being pushed to its absolute limit; I must've emitted enough smoke to cover a whole city. Mahoraga stopped chasing me after a few minutes.
Fushiguro is badly hurt, and he's bleeding all over and after making sure that Mahoraga shikigami wasn't following us anymore. I dropped the two and performed emergency medical procedures on Fushiguro.
"H-hey! He's bleeding, he's fucking dying!" Kakeru cried out, and it was true; this amount of bleeding was enough to kill someone.
However, for some reason, Fushiguro is not dying. His heart is beating, albeit faintly. He should be dead by now, but for some reason, he isn't.
"Fushiguro! Can you hear me!?" I shouted, trying to stop the bleeding, but there wasn't much that I could do. He's bleeding from the eyes, mouth, nose, and ears. All I could do was tightly wrap his eyes with bandages and plug his ears.
"What are we going to do now?" Kakeru, beside me, cried out, clutching his head.
"I'll do my best to patch him up. There's probably still something to do." I answered, albeit weakly, there really isn't much that I can't do, but if Fushiguro's holding on, then I will too.

I managed to wipe and clean off all the blood from his face, mouth, and nose. He's breathing properly but still weakly. I then grabbed a bottle of water from the makeshift bag that Kakeru somehow managed to grab earlier.
We both propped Fushiguro's head, forcing him to take some water. His throat is probably still bleeding and injured, but this is the best that we can do at this point. We crushed up some snack bars, mixed them with water, and fed them to him again.
We did this several times, hoping that his body would recover.

A day has already passed.
I spent so much time looking at Fushiguro that I scarcely noticed the room we'd found ourselves in. It was a rather dim room with a wide pool, with box lights at the bottom that produced a faint white glow. There were these square holes in the ceiling, showing nothing but pure white.
I tried reaching out with my black whip, but they were stopped by something invisible. It's like peering through a glass. You know there's something outside, but you can't break whatever's blocking the way.
The sound of dripping water was the only ambience this room offered. I tried exploring the nearby rooms, but they were all the same: rooms with pools, sometimes connected.
There was this room ahead; it had flowing water from the next room, and at the end of the stream was this huge, deep connecting rectangular hole. It was all black underneath; I couldn't even tell where the bottom was.
Nothing special there. Another dead end.

It must've been almost thirty hours, in that Fushiguro was starting to have more color in his skin. We've doubled our efforts to nourish him. Kakeru argued that he's a lost cause, but I am not abandoning him.
Fushiguro's powers are amazing and useful. The ability to summon shikigamis. It's straight-up supernatural, and right now, we need supernatural.
Fushiguro coughed, the first sign of reprieve.
"Fushiguro!? Are you there!? Hello!? Please!" I cried out as I grabbed another bottle of water. This was the last one.
"M-m-merg-ed b-b-east. Chi-i-i-i-me-r-r-raaa." Fushiguro muttered, stuttering. He was trying to make some gesture, and I helped guide his hands and arms. Fushiguro didn't lose consciousness; he was still there, barely holding on.
"I am guiding both your arms. Make a gesture! Summon that thing that could heal."
Fushiguro, with enough strain and effort, managed to summon something. However, I can't see it, but I could feel its presence. I could feel a faint transfer of some energy.
I couldn't help but laugh. Fushiguro was still alive, and he was using the last bits of his strength to summon something. That kind of will and determination to not give up, he's like a hero.
Although at one point, he mentioned to me. That he's a sorcerer first, not a hero, that sounds exactly like what a hero would say, though.

Fushiguro was breathing properly now. We removed the bandage on his eyes and they would flutter now and then, but he's still not quite at full strength. Most of the candy bars, the slightly nutritious ones, were crushed up and fed to him.
It supplemented his healing, albeit slowly.
His eyes were bloodshot red, as if they were crushed or something. That domain expansion really did a number on him.
Domain expansion. What a useful thing to have. I would like to know if I can learn that. Though I doubt it, I don't have some cursed energy.
While waiting for Fushiguro to heal. Kakeru and I had a few dialogues. It was mainly about him asking about my quirks and the state of my world.
He was quite talkative, although in prose. I asked him about his world, and he told me that there were no monsters or superheroes there. As far as he knew, it was a normal world.
I asked him about that Ayanokoji fellow again. He seemed to have tensed up and asked me to drop the subject. All he indulged me with was that they had some fight and that Ayanokoji was bad news.
He didn't strike me as something bad. That student seemed average, albeit reserved. There was something strange about him, though; he seemed more capable than he showed.
I couldn't quite place it, but I am sure that the Ayanokoji student is harmless. Besides, if he really is the bad news that Kakeru stated. I can deal with him.
"Midoriya...?" Fushiguro said, waking up now.
