Chapter 47 - Ch:XIX The Morning After Ishiyama's Fall Part 1-Hospital Beds and Home Shock

.The morning sun rose lazily over Ishiyama, but the city itself looked anything but calm. The once proud delinquent school had been reduced to little more than rubble and cracked foundations. Police tape crisscrossed what was left of the main gate, though even the officers didn't dare get too close. The site looked less like a high school and more like the aftermath of a natural disaster—or, as the hospital staff muttered, the "Oga Tatsumi phenomenon."

In hospitals across the district, nearly every delinquent in town was propped up in bed, bandaged, groaning, or glaring at the ceiling. Each of them had a broken limb, cracked rib, or missing tooth, but what they all shared was a single thought seared into their bruised heads:

"That bastard Oga... He really did it."

Kanzaki, lying flat with an ice pack balanced precariously on his swollen forehead, muttered from his bed, "Tch... I'll kill him... Next time I'll definitely kill him..." His muffled voice was barely audible through the bandages.

From another bed, Himekawa—his perfect pompadour now a flattened mess under layers of gauze—grunted, "Heh. At least admit it, Kanzaki. He's the real deal... the strongest of Ishiyama..."

Shiroyama, who was sitting upright in a neck brace, raised a trembling fist. "Don't care! I'll get him... somehow... after I can walk again..."

And yet, despite all their curses, the room carried an unspoken respect. Every delinquent in that hospital wing had the same burning realization: Oga Tatsumi wasn't just another punk. He was the new king.

Back at Oga's House-

Meanwhile, Oga himself was far from triumphant.

He lay sprawled in his futon at home, body wrapped in bandages and treated like a broken machine, while the Imperial Doctor, Forcas Rachmaninoff, fussed over him with professional calm. His assistant, Lamia, stood nearby, arms crossed, glaring down at him as though she'd rather he had actually died during treatment.

"His vitals are stable," Forcas muttered, stroking his beard and checking the runes of demon energy glowing faintly on Oga's arm. "Surprising, considering he spent the entire night trading blows like a wild beast."

"Idiot," Lamia said flatly, her tiny form looking down her nose at him. "Destroying your own school... Do you even have a brain in there?"

Oga groaned, eyes still shut. "Tch... noisy brats... lemme sleep..."

Just then, Furuichi, who had been dozing on the floor like an abandoned dog, stirred awake. He rubbed his eyes blearily, then spotted Oga moving. In an instant, his grogginess vanished.

"YOU'RE AWAKE?!" Furuichi leapt to his feet, nearly tripping over his own legs. He staggered closer, laughing, a hysterical edge in his voice. "Do you even realize what you did, Oga?! DO YOU?!"

Oga cracked one eye open, confused by his friend's manic tone. "What the hell are you yapping about now?"

Furuichi jabbed a finger at him like a prosecutor delivering a death sentence. "YOU DESTROYED THE ENTIRE SCHOOL!"

The room went quiet at that.

Oga's face went blank. "...Hah?"

"The whole thing! Gone! Flattened! Kaput!" Furuichi waved his arms wildly, his voice cracking. "You suplexed Tojo so hard you leveled Ishiyama! Every single delinquent is in the hospital! DO YOU GET IT, YOU MONSTER?!"

Oga sat up slightly, ignoring the protests of his aching muscles. His mouth hung open as the words sank in. "...The... entire school...?"

For a moment, he just sat there, staring at nothing. The memory of last night's brutal fight flickered in his mind—the fireworks, the Zebul Spell, the blinding energy—and then the final move. He remembered the ground splitting, the roof caving, walls shattering.

His expression turned pale. "...Shit."

Kogen's Entrance-

Before Oga could spiral further, a calm voice broke through the tension.

"Well, well. So the father of destruction finally wakes up."

Everyone turned. Kogen had just entered, carrying a tray of tea with the grace of someone who had already accepted the insanity around him. Baby Beel was cradled easily in one arm, sucking contently on a pacifier, as if the world's troubles didn't matter.

Kogen set the tray down, then looked at Oga with a faintly amused smile. "Quite the reputation you've earned yourself, Oga. Flattening an entire school in one night? Impressive."

"Shut it," Oga growled, still rattled.

Kogen tilted his head, angelic face framed perfectly by the morning light. "Oh? Don't tell me you're embarrassed now. It suits you, you know—the brute who destroys everything in his path."

Oga snapped his head toward him, irritation overriding his shock. "I understand about Beel, fine. But what the hell was with you yesterday, huh? Acting like you were Toujo's husband in front of everyone!"

The words dropped like a bomb in the room.

Forcas blinked. Lamia raised her brows. Hilda, leaning against the wall with arms crossed, smirked as if she had been waiting for this moment. Furuichi froze mid-step, eyes darting nervously.

Kogen, caught off guard, sweat-dropped in anime fashion. He opened his mouth, closed it, then scratched the back of his head with his free hand. "Ah... that."

"Yeah, THAT," Oga barked, pointing an accusing finger. "Don't think I didn't see it. The whole lovey-dovey act with Beel in your arms like some family drama? What the hell were you doing?"

Kogen sighed, muttering under his breath, "Karma really bites back, huh..."

The room leaned in slightly, waiting for an explanation. Oga's glare only grew sharper. Finally, Kogen relented, straightening up.

"...Alright. If you must know, it wasn't my idea. Toujo's the one who decided all that. And believe me, the misunderstanding runs deep."

Oga narrowed his eyes. "What the hell does that mean?"

Kogen exhaled heavily, as though steeling himself to relive a trauma. "Fine. I'll tell you. But don't blame me if you can't handle the stupidity of it."

The others leaned in, curious. Furuichi began sweating bullets. Hilda raised one brow, clearly already anticipating something outrageous.

Kogen's tone grew serious, yet his face was still marked with that anime sweat-drop.

"...It all started at Toujo's house. Right after we brought Beel in."

The room quieted. Everyone prepared themselves.
