Savannah's POV
I pushed through the restroom door, my steps uneven as I rushed toward the nearest stall. The chatter from the reception faded behind me, replaced by the thundering of my pulse in my ears. Each step felt like walking on a tightrope, my heels clicking against the marble floor as my balance wavered. The ground beneath me seemed to disappear entirely.
I barely made it inside the stall before my stomach rebelled. The retching was violent and loud, echoing off the pristine white walls. My body convulsed as everything came up, the bitter taste burning my throat raw.
Tears streamed down my face as another wave of nausea hit. The cramps doubled me over, and I gripped the sides of the toilet for support.
