Sack was drinking coffee and eating some fruit he found in the refrigerator. There was no high-calorie food.

"Wow, now I know why she's so skinny, with a beautiful body. She watches her diet carefully," thought Sack, despite not being very pleased with the breakfast he had to eat.

"Well, let's just say I sampled the dessert all night," Sack thought as he put on a blue coat, white pants, and sneakers.

He was about to leave, but since he wasn't in a hurry, he tried out some of the video games Zara had at her house.

...

Zara: The old man just got here.

Sack turned off the game and decided to take care of the matter at hand.

Sack: Tell him I want to talk to him.

Zara: OK.

After calling a private transport, he headed back to the "Cangrejo Crocante."

...

A few days later, Sack and Amanda accompanied three E-rank awakened ones into an E-rank dungeon.

Sack wore a black long-sleeved sweater, black pants, a gray jacket, his backpack, and his sword.

Amanda carried a D-rank magic staff that Sack had given her. She wore tight leather pants, a white sweater, and a black jacket. She also carried a backpack, which contained provisions.

The other three awakened ones included a wizard who wore casual clothes with slightly worn light armor over them. He had swords on each side of his waist and his name was Ander. Another of the awakened ones was a tall, sturdy man with dark brown hair tied in a ponytail. He carried a heavy shield in his right hand and wore thick brown leather clothes. His name was Albert. Finally, there was a wind mage, an average-looking woman with a pleasant figure. She wore a wine-red mage's robe over her white shirt and a black skirt that reached her knees. Her name was Aneth.

The three awakened belonged to the Red Ravens guild.

Amanda and Sack managed to gain access to the raid, but in exchange they had to give 50 percent of the loot to the Red Ravens guild.

That was the deal he made with the help of the old man from the "Crispy Crab."

Sack didn't care, because he was more interested in helping Amanda gain experience. Therefore, the condition Sack demanded was that the monsters he defeated would only be finished off by Amanda.

...

Trees tens of meters high, almost reaching 100 meters or more, their crowns so close together that they barely let any sunlight through, making the environment cold and damp, with vines and more vines protruding from most of the trees.

The five awakened ones entered together into this wild-looking forest, with damp soil, uneven terrain, and all kinds of plants of different sizes.

They all walked together.

Amanda held her D-rank staff firmly, ready to give each companion a power boost, although at that moment the boost she could offer with the staff was only equivalent to 20% for 30 minutes. That was because Amanda was an A-rank in terms of growth, and her current stats were those of an unawakened human. For Sack, that was not a problem. His stats were near the top of rank C, but with a 20% boost, his stats would be at the top of rank C and close to rank B.

Everyone was alert. They already knew what kind of monsters were in this dungeon because the Red Ravens guild used it as a farm.

Farms was the term used for dungeons that contained large amounts of monsters or mana crystals. These dungeons were used to gain experience by killing monsters or extracting mana crystals, and they were only closed when they were on the verge of breaking.

...

Almost an hour passed when screams and howls were heard coming from the killer monkeys.

The treetops began to shake.

Monkeys nearly 5 feet tall, with skinny bodies and long limbs, covered in black fur, were approaching. These killer monkeys were carnivores that hunted in groups, and their maximum rank was E. However, they emitted screams that activated an intimidation effect that reduced the power of their enemies or prey by 10 percent.

Amanda didn't hesitate and activated the scale spell.

The monkeys carried bone clubs, blowguns with poison darts, and poisoned arrows.

Sack activated his spiritual perception, a power developed by the swordsman. He could also activate his magical perception, but he had become accustomed to using the sword.

-Everyone, don't let your guard down! It won't be difficult, but one mistake and... -Albert's warning.

-Cover Amanda! -Sack exclaimed.

Except for Amanda, the three awakened ones were speechless when they saw Sack jumping between the trees and sometimes in the air.

Sack was using a swordsman's movement technique called light steps, which was an inferior version of "wind steps."

Light Steps allowed Sack to jump using the air as momentum after using a solid surface as momentum. On the other hand, Wind Steps allowed Sack to walk in the air, but he could only use Wind Steps when his rank reached the top of rank A, specifically his strength and mana attributes.

Sack wielded his sword while dodging, blocking, and cutting the poison darts and arrows, then cutting off the hands' limbs.

The monkeys, terrified by the one-sided attack, wanted to escape, but in the end, the vast majority of the killer monkeys fell to the ground.

"Amanda. You can kill them," Sack told Amanda.

He had checked that there were no threats nearby. Amanda took out a dagger. As a low-level mage, she could use some spells, but her power was still low.

Stab!

Amanda plunged her dagger into one of the killer monkeys that was staring at her in terror.

"Don't feel sorry for them. They would have devoured us if they could have," Sack said to Amanda in a comforting tone of voice.

"Thank you, I'll try my best!" Amanda nodded and continued killing the killer monkeys that Sack had defeated.
