I'm going to pause uploads for the epic for a bit.


Not because the story is done, or because I'm burned out, but because I'm currently evaluating a couple of publishing offers, and I need to make sure whatever comes next is fair.


I don't want to keep posting chapters that might get tangled in contracts or release windows I can't control. I'd rather step back now than yank the rug later.


While this break happens, I'm going to be publishing a different story set in the same world, in a different age, with a different lens.


It's smaller in scope, grimdark, and personal. Less "epic army on the horizon," more "one person, one wound, one ugly climb into power and discovery."


Same universe. Same rules underneath. Different scars on the surface.


The good news: the new book already has 25+ chapters live. Plenty to binge right now.


And I'm keeping the launch cadence going, at least one new chapter every day, while I sort out the publishing side for the epic.
