Below is a strict proofreading pass only.
I did not divide the chapter, did not change the plot, and only adjusted grammar, flow, clarity, and canon-correct Terraria terminology where needed.
All corrections stay within Terraria lore, not Lobotomy Corporation.
"After entering the cave, just follow the torches…"
"Mm…"
"Climb down this rope… jump down from here…"
"Hmm?"
"Dive through this lake to the other tunnel, then climb up…"
"Ah?!"
Sweat poured down her face.
At this moment, in the pitch-dark surroundings, Komini followed her senior's instructions while staring at the confusing paths ahead. Even though she had prepared herself mentally, cold sweat still broke out uncontrollably.
But having already come this far, she could only cling tightly to Arthur, carefully observing everything around her.
"Come up."
Arthur reached out and pulled her from the bottom of the lake, which was littered with glowing glow sticks.
What appeared before Komini was the underground corridor Arthur had personally dug the first time he came to Terraria. From here on, the path finally became relatively smooth.
"Senior… how did you…?"
Walking through the corridor and looking at the torches embedded in the walls, Komini knew very well that her senior had explored this place before.
Still, she couldn't understand how he had managed to find—or create—these strange yet surprisingly passable routes in such a pitch-black cave.
Hearing her question, Arthur continued walking without slowing down.
"You're asking how I found it? I dug it out bit by bit."
"…That really isn't easy…"
"This world is the anomaly G-01-05. Don't try to understand it with common sense," Arthur said as he pulled a Dirt Block from his inventory and tossed it to Komini. "Try it. You should be able to place it too."
"…."
Komini stared at the palm-sized square of dirt in her hand, stunned.
Place it…?
She swallowed and cautiously placed the dirt block on the ground.
In the next instant, dirt rapidly expanded outward, perfectly forming a full block of terrain.
Seeing that Komini—someone without a system—could still adapt to Terraria's rules, Arthur finally relaxed a little.
He then had her open the prepared backpack and handed her 99 more Dirt Blocks.
"If things go bad, completely box yourself in with these," Arthur warned seriously. "Then focus on the Magic Mirror I gave you. Remember—this is a life-saving method in the world of G-01-05."
"Mm-hmm."
Komini immediately took out her small notebook and carefully wrote down her senior's instructions, preparing to review them at any time.
The two continued talking like this, sentence by sentence, but their pace never slowed. Arthur needed to get her to the mining area before too many monsters spawned.
"Alright, we'll start here. Don't stray too far from me."
Arthur pulled out his Copper Pickaxe and pointed to the wide mining area ahead, already fully lit with torches.
"Focus on heart-shaped red crystals first. If you see Platinum Ore, dig some as well. And if you encounter monsters—run."
Searching for Life Crystals was their top priority.
Arthur had already checked their health values through the system.
One had 58 HP.
The other had 18 HP.
If they didn't increase it quickly, even a single hit from a Terraria monster could be fatal.
Copper pickaxes swung in unison, and the efficiency of the two working together exceeded expectations.
After five hours of underground mining—
They had connected nearly three large mining areas and been chased by countless Cave Bats and Black Slimes. Thankfully, they survived every close call.
In total, they obtained six Life Crystals.
Three for each of them.
Arthur's health rose to 118, and Komini's to 78.
They could finally be considered barely safe from sudden death by small monsters.
Although Komini couldn't see her stats, the warmth spreading through her body after using the Life Crystals made her feel noticeably better—she even felt as though her vision had sharpened.
After climbing out of another small cavern, she wiped the dirt from her face and pointed at a flat area nearby.
"Senior, I see something…"
"What?" Arthur was checking the system's mini-map, calculating a safer route to the next mining zone.
Hearing her voice, he closed the map, pulled out a glow stick, and tossed it forward.
Green light spread across the darkness.
It was a small cavern shaped like a vertical shaft leading straight to the ceiling.
By the glow stick's light, they saw that the cavern walls were covered in Flower Walls, with a small mound of earth in the center and shallow water on both sides.
Atop the mound, a sword was embedded.
"…A Sword Shrine."
Arthur's expression turned subtle.
Their luck was almost too good.
In Terraria, only two to four Sword Shrines generated in an entire large world, scattered randomly throughout the cavern layer—a layer that could take years to fully explore.
This was something one could only encounter by chance.
What's more, the sword embedded within was one of the key components required to craft Zenith, Terraria's ultimate endgame weapon.
Obtaining it now was an enormous advantage.
"Jian… zhong?"
(T/N: I think its some kind of chinese slang perhaps for male genitalia or middle finger? Jian means Sword and Zhong usually means Middle or Central)
Komini suddenly looked flustered. "Senior, why are you scolding me? Did I do something wrong?"
"I'm not scolding you," Arthur said, flicking her forehead lightly. "That's just what it's called—a Sword Shrine."
He stepped into the water and approached the embedded sword.
"Is it strong?" Komini followed closely, sticking to his side.
After spending so much time with Arthur in Terraria, she had mostly adapted to this world.
And there was one rule she had already accepted—
Everything originating from Anomaly G-01-05 could essentially be treated as E.G.O equipment.
Even if she didn't fully understand how strong E.G.O equipment was, she knew from workplace chatter that it was extremely valuable.
"It's god-tier for early exploration," Arthur replied casually.
"Can I try pulling it out?" Komini whispered shyly near his ear.
She remembered Arthur's katana, and her curiosity stirred.
She didn't really expect to be given such a powerful weapon—she just wanted to touch it.
"Go ahead. No need to ask me," Arthur said, nodding.
"Hehe…"
Komini laughed softly and hurried through the water toward the mound.
The gentle sound of ripples echoed pleasantly in the cavern.
Arthur followed more slowly—
But suddenly, his expression changed.
Because beneath the sound of splashing water, he heard something else.
A sharp crack.
She had stepped on something.
