Chapter 101 - Sakura’s Magical Talent — Wait, Which Sakura Is This?!

Three hundred million points for Spiral Power.

Five million points for Infinite Energy.

They both looked wonderful—but the problem was that An Xora couldn't afford either of them.

Even after counting the additional 150,000 points gained from conquering all of Victoria and wiping out the dukes' coalition army, An Xora only had a bit over 500,000 points in total. That was still ten times short of Infinite Energy's price, let alone Spiral Power.

Just moments ago, An Xora had felt that having over half a million points meant he was reasonably well-off.

And now, these two discounted items were practically mocking him—making it painfully clear that his few hundred thousand points didn't even qualify as pocket change in front of truly top-tier goods.

Honestly speaking, were these items really supposed to appear this early?

Shouldn't things like this only show up in the late game, when he could grit his teeth and throw out hundreds of millions of points for a power boost?

Especially Spiral Power—an ability that could be described as limitlessly scalable. Even among countless worlds, it was absurdly overpowered. Being able to roll it in the discount section was already insanely lucky, and at the highest discount no less. If he could buy it now, he'd instantly save seven hundred million points.

Unfortunately, no matter how turbulent his thoughts were, system points wouldn't magically increase.

In the end, An Xora could only darkly glare at the one item he could afford.

"System, purchase the Surprise Blind Box."

Two thousand five hundred points were deducted, and a golden gift box appeared in An Xora's system space.

A Surprise Blind Box—just like its name suggested—was essentially a random gacha pull. Anything could come out of it.

At the top end, you could pull something like Spiral Power itself, worth a billion points or even more.

At the bottom end? A bundle of weeds. A pack of sanitary pads. A box of toothpicks.

No upper limit. No lower limit.

Staring at the golden blind box in his system space, An Xora decisively chose to open it.

Perhaps because the discounted items had just dealt a heavy blow to his mentality, An Xora wasn't expecting much from this blind box. The probability of pulling something genuinely good from such an infinite prize pool was simply too low.

He didn't ask for much—just don't let it be a loss.

Watching calmly as the opened blind box dissolved into light, the system notification sounded in his ears.

"Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining reward: [Magic Card Creation (Kinomoto Sakura)]."

Sakura's magical talent…

Was this referring to Sakura from the Type-Moon universe?

An Xora's first instinct was to think of Matou Sakura, but almost immediately he sensed something was off.

What he got was magical talent.

In the Type-Moon setting, Sakura should be described as having magecraft talent, not magic talent, right?

Wait a second—which Sakura's talent did he just pull?

He quickly glanced at the item description.

His eyes instantly widened.

"Holy sh—Magic Cardcaptor Sakura?!"

The magical talent of the Original Cute Overlord?

The Sakura who hadn't even finished elementary school yet surpassed the greatest magician Clow Reed, with a guaranteed lower bound of multiversal-level potential?!

He pulled this from a blind box that cost only 2,500 points?!

"Invincible."

In an instant, the gloom from not being able to afford Spiral Power or Infinite Energy vanished without a trace.

An Xora felt refreshed from head to toe, more comfortable than he had ever been.

One Punch Man?

Evil gods and lumberjacks?

DanMachi, Konosuba, and their gods?

Were these even problems anymore?

Once he manifested Sakura and let her develop for a while, when the Original Cute Overlord stood there, everyone else would know what regret truly meant.

"System, I want to manifest an avatar."

"Ding! Manifesting avatar Kinomoto Sakura will cost 500,000 points. Confirm?"

"So expensive?"

Hearing the price, An Xora raised an eyebrow.

He already possessed Sakura's magical talent, and the Sakura he was about to manifest would be a no-Clow-Cards, base-version Sakura. And yet it still cost half a million points?

Then again, it was understandable.

A body capable of bearing a multiversal-tier magic talent naturally wouldn't come cheap.

That said, if he manifested Sakura now, An Xora's point reserves would be completely drained in one go.

But compared to the returns Sakura could bring in the future, this cost was negligible.

"She must be manifested—but not in this world."

The Arknights world was far too chaotic and unsuitable for Sakura's growth.

Before manifesting the avatar, An Xora decided to switch worlds.

The Jujutsu world, with Makima stationed there, was too safe, and the ceiling of cursed energy wasn't that high.

The One Punch Man world also wasn't ideal.

The JoJo world was full of bizarre Stand abilities—not suitable either.

After some consideration, An Xora narrowed his choice down to two worlds:

DanMachi or KonoSuba.

"I'll go with the DanMachi world."

Not because DanMachi was particularly good, but because An Xora was interested in the Blessing (Falna) system used by the gods in that world.

A system that allowed gods to contract mortals as their Familia, enabling everyone to break through their limits and continuously grow—if possible, An Xora wanted to get his hands on it.

That way, he could bring Talulah and the Doctor—two people he was close to in the Arknights world—into his Familia.

However, An Xora himself clearly knew nothing about the Falna system.

That was why he needed Sakura's help.

With Sakura's talent, analyzing the Blessing system should be effortless.

After making up his mind, An Xora contacted Mebius, asking her to keep an eye on the Arknights world while he was away for a while. Then he opened the system's travel option and activated the portal to the DanMachi world.

DanMachi World — Orario, the Dungeon City

In a corner of the street that no one paid attention to, two figures appeared silently.

One was An Xora.

The other was Seele.

Since Makima's curse-spirit army meant Seele wasn't really needed in the Jujutsu world anymore, and since early-stage Sakura might require some protection, An Xora simply brought Seele over to the DanMachi world as well.

The plan was for Seele to team up with Sakura once she was manifested.

"So that's Babel Tower… Seeing it in person really is impressive."

Looking at the towering spire that rose straight into the sky at the city's center, An Xora sighed softly, then turned to Seele.

"Let's go. First, we'll find a place to manifest Sakura."

"Mm. I'll follow your lead, Brother An Xora."

Naturally, Seele had no objections to An Xora's arrangements.

The two stepped onto the street, officially blending into the city.
