[Blue Wind Empire: Snow Region Of Extreme
Ice]
(Frozen Cloud Asgard)
Chu Yueli waited in the Main Hall and soon her sister Chu Yuechan appeared and spoke
"Chu Yueli, the Grand Mistress has decided our meeting will be held in her meditation area."
Her voice was calm yet cold like ice as Chu Yueli nodded her head and followed her sister deeper into the sect until they arrived to the Grand Mistresses meditation area. There the other 5 Fairies were already present staring at Chu Yueli.
Murong Qianxue
Jun Lianqie
Mu Lanyi
Feng Hanyue
Feng Hanxue
And, another two individual's sat at the very front.
Feng Qianhui (Grand Mistress)
Gong Yuxian (Asgard Mistress)
Feng Qianhui was a beautiful woman with half white hair, fair skin, and deep blue eyes. She was widely considered the de facto leader of the entire Frozen Cloud Asgard in times of great importance. While Gong Yuxian, a woman who looked to be in her thirties to forties with fair skin, dark blue hair, and ruby red eyes. She was the Mistress of the sect, having to deal with the everyday challenges of maintaining a sect, handling diplomacy, and managing the new disciples.
Chu Yueli and Chu Yuechan cupped their fists and bowed to the two masters.
""We greet both Grand Mistress Feng Qianhui and Mistress Gong Yuxian""
The Grand Mistress Feng Qianhui nodded her head, eyes cold and indifferent on her beautiful face as she spoke.
"That is alright, you may both raise your heads and have a seat."
Seeing them both doing as requested, Feng Qianhui questioned.
"Chu Yueli. We were told you may have made contact with a monarch? And that he possesses an understanding of the laws of space and time? Do you understand what it is you are claiming?"
Chu Yueli nodded her head grimly.
"I am gravely aware of what I am saying. But I assure you, that young man, without a shred of doubt he must be a monarch. (Sovereign Profound Realm) and, as absurd as this claim might be, I do believe he may be a peak Monarch."
Chu Yueli's words earned shocked expressions from the icy cold expressions of everyone present. A peak Monarch Ranked cultivator? It sounded way too far fetched to really believe, even coming from one of their own. The mistress of the Frozen Cloud Asgard Gong Yuxian pondered before questioning.
"Explain what happened that led to your meeting with this "monarch" and tell us what led you to the conclusion you made."
Chu Yueli straightened herself as she began explaining.
"Two days ago, I had left to go check up on my disciple at her home in Floating Cloud City. However, yesterday upon my arrival not only could I not find my disciple, her father and the Lord of the Floating Cloud City were desperately searching all over for her.
Her father told me he woke up but couldn't find his daughter anywhere, and so he sought help from the City's leader Xiao Lie since he was a peak Spirit Profound Realm cultivator they searched yet couldn't find her. And so I told them not to worry as I would search for her, and with my senses, I found her trail immediately in the forest near the city.
When I appeared at the top of the forest, I spotted him. Acnologia as he called himself. I dismissed him at first, assuming he was an ordinary hunter since I couldn't sense his cultivation level, and naturally assumed he was someone with a crippled cultivation.
I saw him heading in the direction of a cave, where I saw my disciple Xia Qing Yue was leaning against the cave wall, eyes closed and her clothes stained with dried blood as if she had been viciously attacked.
I tried giving Acnologia the benefit of the doubt, I truly did since he was walking in the direction of the cave Xia Qing Yue was, I thought it was just poor coincidence, but he not only headed directly to the cave, when my disciple had awoken he casually greeted her so I naturally assumed she was kidnapped and taken hostage against her will. So I did the most natural thing anyone would have done against a kidnapper who took one of our disciples and tried to kill him."
Everyone present nodded in agreement to Chu Yueli's statement. If it was any of their disciples of the Frozen Cloud Asgard that were being kidnapped for ransom, naturally the kidnapper would be shown no mercy. Feng Qianhui nodded her expression telling Chu Yueli to continue. And so Chu Yueli continued recounting the events that led to her meeting Acnologia.
"So, I dropped a massive pillar of ice attempting to crush him from above. And I thought that was the end, yet the very next second, not only did my ice shatter, but when I saw his gaze upon me…."
(Shudder)
"Even if it was for a brief moment, I swear I saw the silhouette of a Black Dragon appearing behind him. It looked like a creature that signified the beginning of the apocalypse. And the next thing I knew, every instinct warned me that I was going to die if I didn't protect myself. I put all my profound energy into the Frozen Cloud Barrier and Wall technique but he shattered through it like it was just fragile glass.
Then his fist struck me straight at my diaphragm, and I felt my organs rupture and my bones shatter. I only survived because I was at the sky profound realm otherwise, I'm not even certain I would have survived his strike. He then proceeded to slam me down into the earth below. And by that point I was certain I would be crippled for life."
Everyone in the Grand Mistresses meditation room frowned including both the mistress and grand mistress. The silhouette of a dragon she said?
"Could this Acnologia possibly be a profound beast who gained sentience and cultivated his way to becoming the peak of Sovereign Profound Realm? After all, for Profound beasts, cultivation comes easier as all they really have to do is just eat the profound cores of other beasts, and rest to refine their energy. If he has no cultivation techniques, he really might be a profound beast."
The Grand Mistress questioned more to herself than anyone else, but murmurs of agreement spread amongst everyone present. It made much more sense for Acnologia to be a profound beast rather than a human. However, Chu Yuechan had her own questions she needed answers to.
"If I may. Even if he was a profound beast, that wouldn't explain how he developed mastery over the laws of space and time. Many profound beasts tend to develop laws around the purity of their bloodlines, if Acnologia was a profound beast, even if he became a true dragon, there still wouldn't be any proper explanation for how he has mastery over the laws of time and space."
Feng Qianhui agreed. It was strange. Almost all dragons those that exist and those that are spoken of only in legends have nothing to do with space nor time. It's always raw physical dominance or fire. So she turned back to Chu Yueli and spoke.
"Chu Yueli. Continue with the breakdown of what happened."
"Understood Mistress."
Chu Yueli then continued.
"Just as Acnologia was prepared to kill me, my disciple stepped in trying to push Acnologia away, gesturing to him we were master and disciple. She couldn't do it of course, but Acnologia hesitated and it seemed like he was recalling something that happened to himself in the past that must have involved a child because he just clicked his tongue and stopped pressing his weight on myself.
Then, the sounds of the Floating Cloud City's hunters approaching was heard and that was when I witnessed Acnologia using the laws of space to completely separate us from the space occupied by the city hunters."
Chu Yueli seemed a bit hesitant before she shook her head resolving herself as she continued.
"Seeing what he did, I then realised I might have offended an unknown expert, possibly originating from one of the four sacred grounds, and what he did with such ease is what made me believe he was at the peak of the Sovereign Profound Realm. So, with help from my disciple, I prostrated myself before him apologised and begged him to let me take responsibility for attacking him, and to leave out my disciple and the sect for the actions committed by myself."
Chu Yueli was rather surprised by how silent everyone was. She was expecting a bit more condemnation for daring to bow her head, prostrate herself and beg a man not to harm others for the actions she's committed. Gong Yuxian shook her head.
"Don't be so surprised. While what you did was no doubt shameful, especially in front of your own disciple, we all understand why you did so. You were willing to take full responsibility to keep your disciple and our sect safe, it would be cruel of us to condemn you for that. If I were in your position, I'm afraid I would have done much of the same as you did."
Murong Qianxue nodded in agreement with the mistress as she spoke.
"That's right. All that really matters was that you were willing to do everything you could to protect everyone in our sect from a monster such as this Acnologia. We cannot go getting mad or offended when you were fighting against someone who is essentially a God to protect your disciple. The Frozen Cloud Asgard is proud you are one of us. As your senior and fellow fairy, I will defend your actions against anyone who may try to disrespect your willingness to sacrifice yourself for them."
Mu Lanyi also agreed.
"As Murong said, you were essentially fighting the God of this planet."
The other Seven Fairies voiced their support for Chu Yueli's actions albeit in their cold emotionless tones.
"I take it that's not the end of the story?"
Chu Yuechan questioned calmly. And her sister nodded as she continued.
"After he separated us into a different space, he used the law of time to heal my body by reversing all the injuries I sustained. Then I thanked him for showing mercy only to then learn from my disciple that Acnologia was illiterate…. He doesn't know how to read, write, or speak the local language."
"….."
The silence in the meditation room was impressive. No one knew how to react to this piece of information. Acnologia was illiterate? This beast Chu Yueli spoke of like he was a monarch of destruction? Couldn't speak, read or write? That shouldn't be possible. Even Profound beasts when they gain enough intelligence already are able to speak the local language, but he couldn't?
"Hold on. If Acnologia was illiterate, then how did you even communicate with him?"
Feng Hanxue questioned in disbelief. The more they learn of this "Acnologia" from their fellow Fairy, the more confusing the narrative becomes.
"He used an unknown runes to create a translation spell."
Chu Yueli spoke flatly.
"…."
Once more a new ability showed up!? Is this Acnologia some unknown monster that was unsealed by accident? Nothing of his abilities mentioned thus far made any functional sense to the other Six Frozen Cloud Fairies or the two mistresses of the Sect.
"Unknown Runes used to create a translation spell? Things keep getting more and more complicated with every word that comes out your mouth Chu Yueli."
The Mistress Gong Yuxian spoke unsure even how to react to everything being told.
"Did you get a glimpse of the runes he used?"
Feng Hanyue questioned. And Chu Yueli nodded.
"He showed it to myself and my disciple when he suddenly became able to speak our tongue."
Using her profound energy, Chu Yueli conjured a block of ice and on it she wrote ᚨ ᚱ ᛗ ᛚ. Everyone else stared at the writings with a frown.
"I've never seen such runes before. I don't even know if this language even existed, or if it was something this Acnologia invented himself. But I assume they would function like how talismans and sigils work?"
Feng Qianhui questioned as she studied the runes closer. And Chu Yueli nodded her head.
"It likely should. Since while the language is different, it's purpose likely functions in the same way as sigils and talismans do."
Chu Yuechan hummed as she questioned.
"Did you gleam any other information?"
Chu Yueli nodded her head, she raised her right hand and began listing off other things she's learnt.
"He apparently has amnesia, he's 18 years old, he doesn't know a single thing about our world, be it currency, sects, cultivation techniques, or Profound Energy."
Chu Yueli's flat expression as she continued to list what she learned was essentially the expressions of all present. They were really wondering if Fate was playing some sort of cruel joke to have someone who doesn't know their past be a Peak Sovereign Profound Realm expert, and as if to add insult to injury, he was young! Far too young to realistically have been able to rise in cultivation rank so quickly! The entire world would have known his name as a genius blessed by the universe and every major sect would fight tooth and nail to recruit him! Yet not a single word ever heard anywhere.
Feng Qianhui felt an aneurism building up. Just because their cultivation techniques required them to lock their heart and emotions away behind an invulnerable wall of life doesn't mean that they are flat out emotionless! Even they have limits to how much bullshit they can hear someone spout without wanting to strangle them! But it came from one of the most powerful cultivator of their sect. And someone they have always trusted.
"Chu Yueli."
Feng Qianhui spoke massaging her temples.
"I understand Grand Mistress. I to wish all that I spoke about have been lies of some strange dream. But it is indeed reality."
Chu Yueli answered flatly.
"…."
(Sigh)
The Asgard Mistress Gong Yuxian let out a stressed out sigh as she questions.
"So, where is this Acnologia now? And please tell me there is something good to come out of this mess?"
Chu Yueli answered instantly.
"Being treated at my disciples house as a temporary guest as thank you for saving Xia Qing Yue. And actually, there is some good news. As a form of atonement and apology for attempting to kill Acnologia, I offered to help him with anything he wants as long as it was reasonable and within my ability to do so."
Instantly the atmosphere became tense.
"What did he ask for? Nothing too crazy right?"
Jun Lianqie questioned worried. But seeing Chu Yueli shake her head everyone relaxed slightly.
"His requests were actually very easy to fulfill. He wanted an instructor to teach him the language we all speak. How to read, write, and understand the language, someone to explain to him the history of this world, basic economics, and someone to help him understand what is cultivation, how it works, what are the ranks of each level. All more than capable for someone like myself to fulfill."
Mu Lanyi nodded her head in relief.
"That's rather surprising, instead of asking for anything unreasonable, he actually requested things that are more reasonable and valuable in the long term."
"That doesn't mean anything at least for now. If what you said was true, and he truly suffers from Amnesia, this either means he got into a fight against someone stronger than him, enough so that they were able to make him lose his memories, he is surprising them because it is part of a long term plan, or he just genuinely wants to have a better grasp of the world around him. His amnesia as of right now is our biggest concern. What was he like before his supposed "amnesia? Although, even I must admit I am relieved his demands weren't unreasonable."
Chu Yuechan pointed out and the others nodded in agreement.
Gong Yuxian spoke up.
"Alright. Listen all of you, Chu Yueli, you go hire those tutors you promised him, the rest of you, take some time to meet him face to face.
Do not provoke him, just talk and try to gather your own thoughts on this anomaly. Once everyone including both myself and Gong Yuxian have personally meet him face to face, only then will we decide on our next course of action.
If all goes well, the Frozen Palace Asgard will have acquired itself it's greatest ally since the history of our founding. And remember, not a single word of what was discussed today is said to anyone."
All of the Seven Fairies cupped their fists and bowed respectfully.
"By your will Mistress."
"Dismissed"
Gong Yuxian spoke coldly as they all left the Grand Mistresses meditation chamber. Feng Qianhui sighed as she was lost in her thoughts.
'I pray to whatever God's may hear me that allying ourselves with this Acnologia will be the variable that shall aid the Flaoting Cloud Asgard weather the prophecy that was just 7 years away from happening.'
—(End)—
(An: You might se lots of repetitive mentioning of names and titles. Sorry about that, kept forgetting who was who and ultimately just said fuck it and wrote the chapter as is.)
