Alicia's P.O.V.
I have arrived with Norrin and I can feel the warmth of loving caring souls. Norrin introduces me.
"Everyone, I would like your to meet Alicia Masters." He introduces me.
"Hello everyone." I say while holding onto Norrin's arm. When I sense him. His soul is bright like a noon day sun. He is running around and I can feel his happiness. His soul seems to engulf the surroundings. It is so strong I can't focus on anything else easily.
"Alicia, Alicia let me intwoduce everyone to you. The bright soul calls out to me in a youthful voice.
"And who might you be? A bright bubble delightfully funny soul? You must be a hand full for your mom and dad." I ask. The surroundings get really quiet. Did I say something wrong?
"I'm Marcus. My daddy is missing, but Uatu said he is still alive. So when I get bigger if he isn't back I will go find him." Marcus replies quickly.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know. I thought with as loving and polite as you are two parents would have raised you. Can you forgive me?" I respond with solemnity. My heart aches when I feel his energy weaken. He is such a bright bubbly soul. Just knowing I caused him a moment of pain hurts my heart and soul.
"I do have two parents. I have my mommy and my second mommy my auntie. My second mommy is my mommy's twin so I have 2 mommies. Which makes me unique I hear." Marcus replies back to me. His energy took a slight dip, but it is back full blown and strong. He must truly love his mother's. They must have raised him surrounded by love.
"Oh well that answers that question. So since you forgave me for saying something that could hurt your feelings. I would be happy for you to introduce me to everyone." I state with a smile. Externally I show a smile. Internally I find his energy infectious. His very soul is overwhelming my senses.
"Okay, first this lady here is my mommy. Her name is Cassandra." Marcus runs to a person and introduces her. She has a warm and caring soul. However, it solid not bubbly. She has suffered, but she has not given in.
"Any friend of Norrin is welcome here." Cassandra says.
"Thank you for having me." I reply. Her warmth is solid. It is a hill that is solid against Marcus' overwhelming soul.
"Next we have my second mommy Auntie Megan." Marcus continues with the introductions. This lady also has a warm soul that is solid, but there is a difference. The first one felt like a large hill this one feels like a large sharp boulder.
"It is nice to meet you." Megan says.
"The pleasure is mine I assure you." I reply and I mean it. Her and sister Cassandra are a solid counterpoint to the overwhelming sensation that Marcus' soul gives me. If I wasn't holding onto Norrin I would've already crumbled under his soul's overwhelming might.
"What Marcus fails to tell you is that him and this lady were the first people I met on this planet. It was because of him and her that I took an interest in the beings of this planet, which is how I met you that day." Norrin interjects.
"Oh my. Then I am even happier to get to know you both." I say with a smile on my face. I am happy that because of these 2 people I got to meet Norrin.
"Over here are big sister Susan and uncle Reed." Marcus continues with his introductions not losing a step. These two they seem caring but disturbed. Something must have happened between them. Maybe an intense discussion? Not a fight there is no anger. It reels like hurt sorrow and happiness wrapped up together.
"Hey Marcus, why am I uncle Reed but Susan is a big sister?" The male I sensed I think his name was Reed asks.
"Because you look like an older uncle. While big sister looks younger than my mommies. I cannot call her auntie when she is younger than my auntie now can I?" Marcus responds with his logic. Which I have to admit makes me laugh. He paintsa picture of a young male that has older looks. While the female is much younger looking than she actually is.
"He's got you there Reed. His logic is flawless. You do look older with white hair around your ears, and Suzy has always looked way younger than her age. There is a reason her nickname has been the invisible girl not the invisible lady." A voice jumps out laughing. I recognize that voice. It echoes in my heart and soul.
"Ben?" I ask. I am confused. He disappeared for months now only calling me occasionally. It can't be him.
"That's right next up is uncle Uncle Ben. How did you know? He is all rock like right now but Norrin is gonna fix that for him." Marcus continues without a beat. He just verified my fear and longing. I love Ben but I have fallen for Norrin also.
"Ben!" I call out. I can't help myself. I am overwhelmed by Marcus' soul and energy. I can't think straight. I am torn I find myself longing for Ben's touch. While being nestled in Norrin's arms. What is wrong with? I don't know, but I must get to Ben. I reach out with my arms in the direction of his voice. I try to walk but stumble. I quickly feel 2 people grab me. On my arm I feel Norrin's grip holding me steady. In front of me Marcus has grabbed my hand and is trying to hold me up. His very soul energy almost like a wall that I can lean against.
"Are you okay?" Norrin asks me.
"Hey Alicia, are you okay. I can ask uncle Norrin to heal you if you are not he is really good at healing people. He is going to heal Uncle Ben soon." Marcus' says as he holds my hand. I can't help myself. His energy is overwhelming my judgment. I find myself heart and mind surrendering to his energy.
"If it could be controllable. I will agree." I hear myself say.
Norrin's P.O.V.
Marcus is doing a great job of introducing everyone. I am happy that Alicia seems to be getting along with everybody. Reed and Susan just got introduced with a bit of comedy. Everyone is laughing. Ben just made a funny comment, and then I sense it. Alicia stiffened. Why? My senses didn't pick up any form of attack. But now Alicia seems confused, lost, and distracted. I hear her say Ben. Does she know my dear friend? Marcus just affirmed that it was Ben. Now Alicia seems joyful, sorry, hurt, and happy there are just to many emotions coming off her. She goes to walk towards Ben and she stumbles. I react quickly to catch her. I am in a panic in my heart. What is wrong with her? I ask if she is okay. She doesn't respond. Marcus also caught her from the front. He also checks on her. He mentions my ability to heal. He asked her if she wanted me to heal her. The answer I am expecting doesn't come out. Instead I hear her say, "If it could be controllable. I will agree." I am stunned. This little child has convinced Alicia to let me heal her.
"Alicia what do you mean by controlled?" I ask.
"I don't want to always have my eyesight. I would however like to see the two most important people in my life together every now and then." She tells me
"Who are you talking about?" I ask. I am confused who are the two people she is talking about?
"She means you and me Surfer." I hear Ben say.
"Huh? I am at a lost. Why you and me? What is going on?" I say while trying to make sense of everything.
"I knew Alicia for a long time. Well before I became what I am today. I know her looks and moods like the back of my hand. When you two arrived she was a maiden in love. So she is in love with you. I has her man and the person she loved for years before my accident. We never had closure. I disappeared only occasionally calling her. I couldn't face her as the monster I have become. It is because of her I sought out healing so desperately. It is for her I approached you my dear friend for healing." Ben tell me all this with raw emotion running though his voice and tears in his eyes. I can senses every words he has said it the truth. I look inside and I see the truth. I love him like a brother. I am in love with her. I don't want to hurt either of them. I am willing to step aside. I will act like I am not in love with her.
"That's great!" I hear Marcus exclaim.
"You two can take care of Alicia together." He continues. "Uncle Ben can be healed. Alicia can be healed. Uncle Norrin can do the healing. Then everyone can be together. One big happy family, like mine but reversed. I have two females and one male. You three will be two males and one female." Marcus smiles happily at us. I look around and see that Alicia is blushing and Ben looks stunned.
"Marcus that's not how it works little buddy." Ben tells Marcus.
"Why not? I don't see the problem Uncle Ben. You love Alicia. You love Norrin. Norrin loves you and he loves Alicia. Alicia loves you both. Is it fair to force her to choose between the ones she loves? Is it fair to make you or Norrin to choose between either of you and Alicia?" Marcus questions.
"Society doesn't accept relationships like that." Ben says.
"What gives people we don't know, don't see, or even care about directly the right to dictate who we love? I don't see the problem. Alicia has two hands, two arms, two legs. two breasts what more do you want from her? She is a female so I know she even has two holes. I have seen both mommy and auntie have two holes when we bathe together. I as a male only have one hole." Marcus argues back then he turns around and points to his butt.
"Butt.. I mean but." Ben is trying to form words to argue back but he can't think of any.
"Give it up Uncle Ben. Me and Cassie have never won and argument with him in over a year since he started talking." Megan states.
"She's right we never have, and speaking of right he is also right. Norrin isn't from Earth. He doesn't have to follow our social beliefs. If he wants to let you share Alicia. It is his decision. If Alicia wants to be shared that is her decision, and I haven't heard her say one thing against it yet. Your only decision is do you love Alicia. Since we have already established that you do then there should be no issues on your end." Cassie says with finality.
"Fine, I can't win especially when it is 3 against one. You all make very valid points. I then only ask her healing be after mine. I don't want her to see me looking like this." Ben gives in.
"Ben. What do you mean looking like this? Have I ever judged you based on looks?" Alicia stomps her foot and has an edge to her voice. She seems upset.
"N-n-no Ali, it isn't you. It is me." Ben stutters.
"When does YOUR opinion trump mine, when it comes to how you look? If I want you to wear a clown suit you would RIGHT?" Alicia says while facing Ben directly.
"Y-y-yes." Ben stammers
"So if you can wear a clown suit because I want to see you in one even though you don't want to. How does whatever accident happened that changed your outer looks trump whether I want you in my life or not?" Alicia says as if the subject is over.
"You're right Ali." Ben accepts with a sigh. "Society be damned then. I love you both and I will fight them all if they have something to say so let them come!" Ben roars beating his chest.
"Norrin. Do you mind if we all live together as a family?" Alicia asks me. As I look at her face. I see the same insecurity I had when I approached her earlier. She wants me in her life and is willing to be with me as long as I accept sharing her love with my dear friend.
"Alicia until about 2 days ago I didn't even know what love was. Since then you, Ben, and all of my friends have taught me what love is. I have no problems whatsoever loving both you and Ben. No matter what problems either of you have so long as you will have me I would love to be in your lives." I state with all my heart.
Marcus' P.O.V.
I knew this triangle was coming. I also new that given the right push. They would all agree to be together, and honestly it isn't an issues. Once Ben gets cured he will have the confidence to stay by Alicia's side. The Silver Surfer came from a logic driven society. One where the Matriarch gets to pick her man and men don't really have a saying so. The only person who could actively stop them all from being together was Alicia herself. So every time one of the two men spoke, was mentioned, or even touched her I hit her with a full blown affect of my pheromone control. I sent her body into overdrive over and over. I did it till the point that she may even only want to have sex with both of them at the same time. All three of them deserved to be happy. Alicia kept losing the one she loved do to uncontrollable circumstances. Ben being taken off world. The Surfer finally being free to soar the cosmos. She even at one point fell in love with Johnny, but through it all she has loved Ben. If he accepted someone as part of their family she would accept it no matter what.
"Glad that is over. Why you wanted to argue a point you were destined to lose I have no idea, Uncle Ben. So while everyone is in agreement and Johnny is lost somewhere unable to find his way I suggest we get you both healed. Uncle Norrin, I have a suggestion. Since Alicia wants her blindness to be controllable why not link it to her eye lids. If she has them closed all her other senses with become as if she was blind. While she has them open it will be as if she isn't blind." I tell the Silver Surfer.
"That is a great idea Marcus!" He exclaims.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's get ourselves healed. Alicia you are right. Whether I am healed before or after you doesn't matter. All that matters is we are together." Ben now liberated from his concerns joyfully states.
"Then follow me. Mommy started working on the lab the minute you all left and Aunt Megan has been cooking up delicious foods for just as long." I state as I lead them into the house.
"Well, I guess we are doing this now while dinner is being cooked and we put an A.P.B. out on old Matchstick himself." Ben smiles while making a joke.
"Ben, before you get cured, can you let me feel why you had been avoiding me? I want to know what actually happened to you." Alicia confronts Ben with pain etched in her voice.
"I'll do you one better. I'll let Norrin heal you first. You will be able to see what has happened to me before he heals me." Ben replies to her concerns.
"Ben, Alicia, trust me I will help you both. I love both of you and want only the best for you." The Silver Surfer says in a serious voice that is actually full of love and caring.
We enter our house. It smells of fresh baked bread and something roasting in the oven. Smells like bacon and something else is cooking in the oven I think. Mom leads us over to our staircase that normally goes up to the second floor and then our roof. She places her hand on the main column. Then she walks to the wall and pushes at a certain spot of the wall. That spot sinks into the wall. As it does a panel opens on the main column. Inside the opening is what looks like a keypad, but it has no markings. Mom pushes several buttons on the keypad. After she pushes five particular buttons there is a *DING* sound that echoes in the house. Then the floor below the staircase opens up showing that the stairs go further down below our house.
We descend the stairs. As we descend the steps light up. After 15 steps there is a door. The door has another keypad and a camera. Mom puts her eye in front of the camera. She then reaches for the keypad and she says, "May my son always light my way." She presses a specific button with each word she says. All while staring at the camera and not the keypad. When all of a sudden a robotic voice says: *VOICE RETINAL SYNC COMFIRMED* and the door slides open.
Beyond the door there is a large complex filled with various machines, tables, test rules, beakers, and other medical devices. There are rooms sectioned off by what looks like plastic curtains. Mom leads us to a table that looks like something from a Dr. Frankenstein movie. It is slanted with leg straps, arm straps, and a throat strap. Beside the table is a tray with several pills on it. Behind the tray is a gas tank.
"Here we are." My mom says. "This table allows the securing of the subject. It has access to multiple forms of anesthesia to render the subject unconscious." She continues like some mad scientist.
"Mommy, why does your voice sound scary?" I ask her. I watch her blink,then turn white, then red and finally she responds.
"I'm sorry baby. Mommy didn't mean to scare you." As she rushes over to hug me and hold me close. She is hugging quite tightly so I make a scene.
"I....can't.....breathe.....you....are....crushing...me."I speak in slow breathless words to mimic not being able to breathe. Which of course gets my mother to immediately release me.
"Auntie Meg, mommy just tried to smother me with her breasts." I call out acting like I am tattling on her. Of course my mother starts to play along. She puts a finger over her lips in a shushing motion.
"Cassie, we talked about this. Your breasts are to big to go shoving his head in between them." My dear Aunt Megan calls down from above. My mother gives me a pouty face look before grinning. We all get a laugh from her acting.
"Okay, now on to the serious things." My mother motions to Norein, Alicia and Ben.
"This will be quick. No more than 5 minutes to complete the curing and healing process. For you Alicia there will be no pain. Unfortunately, for you dear Ben there will be a LOT of pain. I suggest taking Cassandra's help and being put asleep while I heal you and purge the radiation from your exterior." The Silver Surfer states.
"Alicia I said you can go first and I meant every word." Ben states as he backs away some.
I take Alicia's hand and lead her under a bright light. The Silver Surfer follows me into the light. I watch as he raises his hands and places them over her eyes. He closes his eyes and I feel an energy wave run across my body.
"Alicia, try and open your eyes." The Silver Surfer says as he steps back beside Ben. I on the other hand grab her arm to keep her steady.
"I can see again." Alicia states. She turns towards where she heard and felt wear the Silver Surfer and Ben were last located. When she looks at them her tears start falling. She slowly approaches them. When she gets within arms reach she closes her eyes and places her hand on their cheek. "It is you. I feel your soul. Ben you have this rock like exterior. but your heart and soul are still soft as putty." Alicia states while touching Ben with her right hand. She turns her head to face the Silver Surfer and says, "It is you Norrin Radd. I feel your soul also. You have a shiny exterior of metal but your heart is like a prefect diamond flawless in how much it cares." She states while touching him with her left hand. She then takes a step back and opens her eyes.
"Benjamin Jacob Grimm, how could you hide you face from me. Do you know how worried I was? How many times I cried wondering when you would return? If it wasn't for Norrin I would've never seen you again I bet." She gives Uncle Ben a tongue lashing, but I sense no anger in her pheromones. She then has tears running down her face as she quickly rushes in and hugs them both. Her tiny body holding two big strong men, and yet it is like her power overwhelmed them.
"Big Sister Alicia, we need to help Uncle Ben out now." I call out.
She let's go of the two of them and turns to me. Her eyes are open and she stares at me for a few seconds. Slowly she reaches out to me. When her hand touches my face tears spring from her eyes. I get scared and quickly ask, "Big sister Alicia are you okay?" My voice filled with concern.
"Yes everything is alright. These are happy tears. It is because of your intervention that I see the light the way mother nature intended. Yet now I can still see with my other senses if I close my eyes. Your idea was perfect. So thank you with all my heart." Alicia sobs and cries as she steps away from Ben and Norrin. I take her hand and walk away from the table.
"While you cure Ben, I am taking Alicia away so she doesn't see, hear, or directly feel Ben's pain. We will wait for you upstairs." I tell Ben and the Silver Surfer. They both nod at me in understanding.
"Come on big sister. I will show you my happy place." I tell Alicia as we walk away.
"Okay." Is her only response to me. She follows me up the stairs then up to the second floor. I take her all the way up to our observation deck on the roof of the house.
"Big sister Alicia I wanted to show you something and tell you something." I tell her.
"What do you want to show me?" She asks.
"I will tell you something first then I will show you. When you lost your sight your other senses compensated and you gained the ability to feel someone's soul. However, refusing to be healed closed you off from some beautiful things you can only see with you eyes. Please take a look through my telescope." I tell her.
She approaches my telescope. I show her where to look through. The telescope is pointed away from the sun towards a beautiful star filled sky. She gasps at the beauty she sees through
"Your eyes can now see things your feelings would miss. This is what I wanted to tell you. Plus there is one other thing, a knowledge if you will." I say cautiously, "You now have 3 holes in your body and 2 men to please. I recommend you try to get enjoyment with both men at once. By our Earth's standards you can have pleasure with both at the same time. I recommend this to you. You can look it up online yourself. This way neither man has to suffer waiting for the other to finish his turn with you." I stated seriously.
Alicia looks me in the eyes and says, "I understand. I will look it up for more information. I am not sure how a child your age can be this articulate or know so much, but if it can make more Ben and Norrin happy, I cannot thank you enough litte Marcus." She bowed her head to me with a happy sweet smile.
