I enter the exam hall and the next thing I saw was extremely terrifying!
They have a large crystal ball in the centre of the stage. What will that do I think to myself, after that i seated on the number which was the last number of the seat, Taiju was sitting as the 20 number of our class.
Then Mrs Valet enter and said: "All the students, listen carefully, first we are going to have an written exams on notebook and text and then the ranking exam to give you all a rank understood!" Everyone nod at her. After that we all get the question paper. The question weren't tough, so I easily did my paper first! "Mrs Valet, My paper is done" I thought everyone will appreciate me but it was the opposite.
They said "Look the bookworm did it first, how will you pass the physical exam dork" everybody laugh at me, except Taiju. He looks at me and nods as a signal for me to be calm.
Mrs Valet comes on the stage "Student number one come!" The student goes and she explained the rules to everyone then
"Listen this crystal you are seeing will see your strength and your level to give you a rank, since you are still in highschool. The highest rank will be rank S " one by one everyone does and got their best. It was Taiju's turn "Good luck my man"
After that Taiju got an rank but he doesn't told me. At last it was my turn. "Last student come on the stage!"
Mrs Valet, thought I don't have a hope that what i thought but then when i placed my hand it shows an S kidding that would never happen cause my level is zero, it's shows a E rank. That's the lowest in the class.
There were three S rankers in our school. First one was the prodigy Ayato Amagiri. The second one was the most popular girl of your school her name was Mizuki Tamdo and at last one was I couldn't believe he was my bestfriend Taiju Madarame.
Taiju comes too me, he has a frown like he is sad about me, he said "Arata, I wish you also be an S but that's okay. E isn't that bad right?" He was always like this, cheering me so i won't get sad "Yeah it's wonderful, like i atleast have a rank now"
After that, the test was over and we all went home. At home I lay on my bed and suddenly tears well up in my eyes, I said to myself "why only me? Why I am the WEAKEST? Isn't there anyway I can be strong?" At last he got exhausted and slept the next morning when he woke he got a notification on his screen.
