Most things should wait until after a good meal.
At least, that's how it was for Vya.
With a full stomach, naturally, her thoughts could wander far and wide.
Like that quill pen, for instance...
"Big sister, Vya remembered she wanted to show you this!"
Vya held the quill up to Elysia.
After Elysia brought Vya back to her room, Vya recounted the scenes she had witnessed in her dream.
"So, Vya met a sister named Cyrene in a dream, and she gave you this pen?"
"Yes, yes! And Sister Cyrene even looks a little like you!"
Vya sat on the bed, swinging her legs.
"My, really? I'd love to meet her too~"
Elysia's interest was piqued.
She was now holding the quill. At first glance, it just seemed like an exquisitely crafted ordinary feather pen. She truly couldn't spot anything unusual about it.
But the material... it was hard to identify. For this thing to appear on Vya out of thin air, it definitely had to be something extraordinary.
"So, how does one use this thing?"
Elysia asked.
Vya pouted her little mouth and shook her head. "Vya doesn't know... Sister Cyrene only said it could bring her here, but not how exactly..."
Elysia smiled and handed the quill back to Vya. "Alright, alright. If it's useless for now, there must be a reason. Perhaps it'll work after some time~"
"Mhm! Sister is right!"
Vya happily took the quill back.
...
"Oh! Vya just remembered something."
Vya suddenly remembered the real reason she had gone to find her sister.
"I was looking for sister because Vya had a question."
"Oh~? And what question would that be?"
Elysia said with a smile.
"It's... it's that Vya doesn't know what she can do?"
Elysia's expression softened. She reached out and ruffled Vya's hair. "My~ Is that the kind of question? Has our Vya grown up? Sister is so touched~"
Vya looked up, her pale purple eyes filled with confusion. "Then... sister, what should Vya do?"
Elysia thought for a moment. "Hmm... For me, what I want is for you to spend every day happily. That's what I want Vya to do."
"Vya is very happy now! With sister here!"
Vya immediately broke into a radiant smile.
Elysia gently pinched her cheek. "As for what Vya truly wants to do, Vya will have to find that out for herself~"
"What if Vya can't find it?"
"Then just stick with us for now♪~ One day, Vya will find her own answer~"
"Mhm! Okay!"
...
Right at that moment, the quill in her hand suddenly began to glow. A pink light spread from its tip, gradually filling the entire room.
Vya's eyes widened in surprise. "Sister, look!"
An ethereal voice emanated from the light:
"The power of memories born from beautiful wishes is limitless."
"Through this, even I can meet you across time and space."
"That's also a rather beautiful and romantic thing, isn't it~?"
The light gradually coalesced, forming a faint outline in mid-air.
As the light faded, a pink creature floated there—it looked like a mix between a squirrel and a puppy, covered entirely in soft pink fur.
"Is this... a pink squirrel? Or a puppy?"
Elysia curiously reached out a finger.
"Wow, it's Sister Cyrene!"
Vya exclaimed with a laugh.
The pink creature let out Cyrene's familiar voice, nimbly spinning a circle in the air. "My, neither. For now, it should be 'Mem'~"
The pink creature—no, let's call her Mem for now... she let out a cute sound.
"Huh? What's going on?"
Vya was curious.
Mem (or rather, Cyrene) regretfully spread her two little paws. "Ah, due to various constraints, I can only meet you in this form. A bit of a pity~"
"So, should we call you Cyrene or Mem?"
Elysia asked.
The pink puppy did a somersault in the air. "Either is fine~ A name is just a label~"
"Mhm, you're so cute. Can I pet you?"
"Of course you can... huh?"
Before the pink puppy could finish, she was scooped up into Elysia's hands.
Should we really expect anything less from Elysia? She accepted this setup so effortlessly.
She skillfully stroked Mem's fur, a look of delight on her face. "It feels so nice~"
Mem (Cyrene) leaned in for a closer look. Indeed, Elysia did look quite like her.
Elysia continued petting the fluffy creature. The texture was truly wonderful~
"So you're little Vya's big sister? Very pleased to meet you!"
The pink puppy said cheerfully.
Elysia smiled warmly. "Hello there~ My name is Elysia♪~"
"What a lovely name!"
Mem (Cyrene) praised.
"I want to pet Sister Cyrene too!"
"Of course you can~"
Vya eagerly raised her hand from the side.
Mem floated out of Elysia's hands and landed lightly on Vya's outstretched palms.
And so, the little girl cradled the pink puppy in her arms.
...
"So how did Sister Cyrene appear~?"
Vya asked.
Mem curled up comfortably in her embrace. "Why, it's because beautiful memories were born here~ So I came~"
After a brief explanation...
"Wow, so you're actually not from this world?"
Elysia said, somewhat surprised.
"Mhm-hmm~ The universe is vast. Of course there are many unimaginably wonderful things."
The pink puppy placed her paws on her hips, striking a proud pose.
"So why did you appear here?"
"Yeah, yeah! Vya wants to know too!"
Vya raised her little hand.
Seeing this, Mem floated up and used a paw to pat Vya's head.
"Just think of me as a collector of beautiful stories~ 'Chronicler' or 'Scribe' are also fine descriptions~"
"That sounds so amazing~"
Elysia marveled. That there were other worlds beyond the starry sea—of course she wanted to see them too. She also loved beautiful things.
But for now, they still faced a catastrophe...
"Not really~"
Mem modestly waved a paw.
Truth be told, she couldn't possibly say more.
"Mhm, Sister Cyrene is amazing! You must know lots of stories!"
Vya said admiringly.
"Of course!"
Mem puffed out her little chest.
"Can you tell us some?"
Elysia asked with a smile.
Mem was about to answer when her body flickered suddenly. "Of course I can, but there isn't enough time~"
The two also noticed the pink puppy's figure had grown slightly translucent.
"Alright, I should head back now~ See you next time."
"Goodbye, sister!"
"Goodbye~ Looking forward to our next meeting!"
Elysia said with a smile.

The room returned to tranquility, leaving only that quill pen resting quietly in Vya's hand.
