Mobius was held in Elysia's arms, the faint, sweet scent clinging to the other woman wrapping around her.
It wasn't that she disliked it, but…
It made her inexplicably restless.
"Off we go♪~"
Elysia's cheerful voice sounded right by her ear, followed immediately by a dizzying whirl. Before Mobius could even react, she was carried straight out of the laboratory.
"Big sister, wait for me!"
Seeing this, Vya hurried after them in a little trot. Honestly, she really wanted to hug Mobius too!
Klein, having heard Mobius's shout, quickly snapped awake.
"Doctor?"
"Huh… Where's the doctor?"
Klein looked around and saw that Elysia had made off with Mobius.
So she promptly put down her work and rushed to follow.
And so, once again, you could witness a peculiar scene in the base corridors:
A certain pink-haired woman sprinting along with a green-haired lady in her arms, chased by a bouncing little girl.
Oh, and behind them, another green-haired girl.
Wait, why does this scene feel so familiar…

"Alrighty~ Dr. Mobius, you can come down now!"
Elysia carried Mobius into her own room, finally coming to a stop and gently setting Mobius down on the carpet. Once Vya and Klein had also filed in…
Mobius straightened her disheveled clothes, her expression stormy. She opened her mouth, then closed it, unsure what to even say.
By then, Elysia had quietly closed the room door… and playfully turned the lock with a click.
Hehe.
"E—ly—si—a—!"
Finally, she bit out the other's name, syllable by syllable, voice thick with suppressed fury.
"What is it, Mobius~ Calling my name so loudly."
Elysia tilted her head, wearing an innocent look. "Is it because I ran too fast just now while carrying you?"
"Sorry about that, Mobius~"
She pressed her palms together in an apologetic gesture.
Mobius took a deep breath, struggling to calm herself. "…"
"So then… since we're all here, just say yes~"
The room fell quiet for a few seconds.
If you listened carefully, you could hear Mobius let out a soft, disdainful "Hmph!"
"…For Vya's sake."
Mobius looked at Vya. It suddenly struck her that she had somewhat forgotten Vya wasn't human, having truly started to see her as a child.
"Yay~!"
Elysia cheered.
"Yay!"
Vya clapped her hands and jumped for joy too.
"Okay…?"
Klein was still catching her breath, worn out from the chase.
Mobius crossed her arms, her demeanor imposing.
She had to admit, she'd let her guard down and been caught off guard by Elysia's sneak attack.
But she wouldn't make any more concessions.
"Let me make this clear. Just this once. And I decide what to wear."
"Fine, fine, of course, no problem at all~! Feel free to pick anything from all these clothes here♪~!"
Elysia beamed, pointing to the clothing rack she'd prepared long ago.
She mentally gave a victory sign—Mission accomplished~
At that moment, Mobius swore to herself that she'd find a chance to slip away later. She absolutely couldn't let Elysia have her way.
"Klein, you join in too~"
Elysia patted Klein on the shoulder.
"M…me?"
Klein pointed at herself.
"Goodness, every time I visit your lab, I see Klein working. Doesn't Mobius ever give you a break?"
Mobius stayed silent. She figured Klein would tell her if she wanted time off. It wasn't like she was an unreasonable person.
"Ah… the work isn't finished, so I shouldn't rest…"
Klein replied softly.
"Oh, working non-stop is no good. You need a balance of work and play sometimes~"
"Besides, even Mobius agreed. How about you join us too?"
Elysia leaned close to Klein's ear, persuading gently, while glancing at Vya and giving her a meaningful look.
"What does Vya think?"
Vya immediately understood and nodded vigorously. "Yeah, Sister Mobius and Sister Klein together!"
"Well… alright then."
Klein looked at Mobius, saw nothing unusual in her eyes, and so agreed.
The clothing rack was laden with all sorts of outfits, from elegant evening gowns to cute casual wear. Elysia had clearly prepared well in advance.
"How about this one?"
Elysia picked up a fluffy pink dress and held it up against Mobius.
"No."
Mobius refused outright.
Mobius finally selected a dark green evening gown.
The fitted cut perfectly outlined her slender figure, the deep green complementing her cool, aloof demeanor.
Meanwhile, Klein was still choosing slowly, hesitating before the rack.
"Let Mobius pick one for you. Her taste is sure to be excellent~"
Elysia said.
Klein promptly turned her gaze to Mobius.
"Um…"
Mobius pointed at a random dress, and Klein scampered off to change as if given an order.
It was a simple, cyan-green dress, not too flashy but fitting for Klein's temperament.
…
Before long, they had all changed.
Elysia, surprisingly, had chosen a black-and-white maid outfit, even twirling to show it off. She said it would give a very different feel at the party~
As for Mobius, she was already wearing that dark green evening gown, adjusting the collar in front of a mirror.
Klein stood somewhat awkwardly to the side, occasionally tugging at her skirt—she didn't seem used to wearing this style.
The two with their similar green hair standing together did, at first glance, give a bit of a sisterly impression.
Then Elysia turned her gaze to Vya.
"Now, the grand finale is definitely our little sweetheart~!"
"Want to give some input, Mobius?"
Though pretending not to care on the surface, Mobius couldn't help stealing glances their way.
Elysia understood perfectly but didn't call her out.
She deftly tied Vya's hair into two cute little buns, then began picking through the pile of little dresses.
Between a white and a pink dress, Elysia ultimately chose the white one, as it went well with Vya's hair color and gave a pure, pristine feeling.
All dressed up!
The costume game thus concluded, and Vya looked at her reflection in the mirror with satisfaction.
"Big sisters, do I look nice?"
"Mhm, very pretty. Our Vya is so adorable❥(ゝω・✿ฺ)."
Elysia naturally didn't hold back on the praise.
"Yes, very nice."
Klein chimed in with praise as well.
With all preparations complete, it was time to set off.
