The next morning, Hayato woke up with a sensation that was becoming familiar: a warm weight on his chest. This time, however, there were two weights. Lala, as usual, was naked and hugging him tightly.
But on his other side, Lilith was also lying beside him, her transparent black nightgown open, revealing her tempting curves. Both seemed to be sleeping soundly.
Hayato let out a deep sigh.
[This is going to be the new normal.] He thought, with a mix of resignation and fatigue.
Carefully, he freed himself from their embraces, took his clothes, and went to the bathroom. After showering and dressing, he found Lilith and Lala already awake in the living room.
"Good morning, Hayato!" Lala greeted cheerfully.
"Good morning, Master," murmured Lilith, smiling meaningfully.
"Good morning," Hayato replied. "We have a lot to do today. First… Lala." He looked at his Fiancée. "Are you going to experiment with your new devices today?"
Lala raised her hand, her face beaming. "It's fine, right? I have an idea for a 'portable space multiplier'!"
Hayato sighed. "Just a little. And please, don't mess up the house. I have a suggestion: how about you make a special space for your experiments? For example… in the basement? Or with your device, create a special pocket dimension."
Lala's eyes sparkled. "Good idea! I'll make it later!"
Hayato then turned to Lilith. "And for you… tomorrow we start school. Please, don't flirt with or play pranks on the boys at school."
Lilith narrowed her eyes, a teasing smile gracing her lips. "Ara~ Is Master… jealous?"
Hayato smiled bitterly. "Yes. And because of that too." He paused for a moment. "By the way… can you call me by my name? Not 'Master'? It feels… strange."
Lilith leaned closer, whispering in his ear. "Don't worry… Hayato." The warm sensation in his ear made Hayato shiver slightly.
He sighed again—a habit that was becoming more ingrained—then called his system. "SERA, how long will it take to create Lilith's data as a transfer student from overseas and input it into Sobu's school system? Tomorrow is already the first day."
SERA appeared as a hologram, looking 'tired'. "Huff… I feel like I'm in forced labor. I'll ask for a leave later."
Hayato looked at her with a flat expression. "You are an AI. You don't need leave."
"Metaphor, Host! Metaphor!" SERA complained. "But alright. Creating an identity for her is easier because she's human—or at least looks human. It'll take about an hour. You better go shopping first."
Lilith, seeing SERA for the first time, raised an eyebrow. "Oh? So there's a system AI here. Interesting."
SERA turned to her. "My name is SERA, short for 'Sentient Emotional Response Assistant'. Pleased to meet you, Lilith."
"Pleased to meet you too," Lilith replied with a smile.
"Alright," said Hayato, standing up. "Today's plan: shopping for clothes, a smartphone for Lilith, to City Hall for documents, then to Sobu High for uniforms and forms. Finally, tidy up the room since the three of us sleep in one bed."
Lilith tilted her head. "Why do we need to shop for clothes? Do you want to see me try on underwear directly? Although honestly, I don't mind you seeing my entire body."
Hayato's face flushed. "Lilith… at a time like this."
Lilith laughed. "You're so cute. Didn't you say I should only flirt with you, not other men?"
Lala, hearing this, chimed in. "Eh, what's wrong with showing a naked body? Isn't that normal for couples?"
[Oh right, I forgot Lala is still innocent about adult matters.] His inner thought passed through his mind.
He cleared his throat. "We better go. It'll be hot by noon."
Lala smiled. "Alright, I'm ready. Let's go!"
---
The trip to the shopping district was colored by envious stares from the men they passed.
Hayato walked flanked by two beautiful girls both holding his arm—Lala innocently, Lilith with a flirty style. It felt like carrying two stars that drew all attention.
They first visited the same smartphone store as yesterday. The same female employee greeted them with a wide smile.
"Can I help you again, Sir?"
"The same smartphone as yesterday," said Hayato. "One more."
"What color, Ma'am?" the employee asked Lilith.
"Silver," Lilith answered shortly.
The employee quickly fetched a unit and accessories. Hayato paid with his Black Card again, making the employee even more convinced he was a very lucky rich kid.
Just as they were about to head to a clothing store, SERA appeared as a small hologram beside Hayato. "The documents are ready. Please take them from the Inventory. I've already input them into the government system. There won't be any suspicion."
"Thank you, SERA," murmured Hayato. "Let's go to City Hall first."
At City Hall, Lilith observed her surroundings with sharp eyes. "So many humans… and many are deceiving themselves. Look at that couple—the man wants another woman, the woman wants a richer man. Bland desires."
"You can see that?" asked Hayato.
"As the personification of desire, I sense waves of longing around me. But here… most are shallow."
Lilith then looked at Hayato. "By the way, where does your money come from? Your house is ordinary. Is this related to the Arc of Embodiment?"
Hayato nodded. "Yes. SERA duplicated money in the inventory and faked financial data on the internet. Although it potentially causes inflation, I only use it for needs. I'm too lazy to cause economic chaos."
"An interesting system," murmured Lilith. "I'm sure if this happened in Chaldea, they'd panic."
After waiting in line, their turn came. The female clerk at the counter was the same one who served Lala yesterday. She looked slightly confused seeing Hayato return with another beautiful woman.
"Is… by any chance Lilith-san also your fiancée, Mr. Hayama, transferring from overseas here?" she asked hesitantly.
Lilith smiled flirtatiously. "Of course. What other reason would make sense, right?"
Lala innocently added, "We even sleep three—"
Hayato quickly covered Lala's mouth. "Just one house! Sleeping in separate rooms! And they get along!" His face was flushed.
The clerk looked at them with an expression mixed with disbelief and bewilderment. Young people these days… she thought.
But she only smiled professionally. "Here you go. Your student cards are ready. Welcome to Japan."
Lilith accepted her card gracefully. "Thank you for the welcome."
Once they were outside, Lilith teased Hayato. "Are you ashamed of having me? You won't even acknowledge me as your partner in front of others."
Hayato massaged his temples. "I… still have shame and nervousness."
The cheerful Lala interjected, "Shouldn't you be happy?"
Lilith smiled. "I agree with her. You should be braver."
Hayato sighed. "Alright. But I'm sure tomorrow at school will be ripe for gossip."
---
They then headed to a large mall. First destination: a women's underwear store. Lilith looked puzzled.
"Why do we need to shop for clothes when we can just create them directly with conceptual power?"
"At least you have physical clothes for some situations," answered Hayato. "Especially you, Lala. You often don't wear a bra. Lilith, please teach her—and Peke—about Earth's clothing norms."
Lilith chuckled softly. "Ara~ So innocent to this extent? But you're coming with us, right, Hayato?"
"Of course I'm coming," Hayato answered wearily. "I know your true intentions, Lilith."
They entered an elegant lingerie store. A female attendant approached with a smile.
"Welcome. How can I help you?"
"We'd like to see underwear and everyday clothes," said Hayato.
The attendant immediately guided Lilith and Lala to the appropriate racks. Hayato stood a bit further away, trying not to look directly, though it was almost impossible.
Lilith picked out a black halter bra and a matching G-string. She approached Hayato, showing off her selection. "How is it? Good enough?"
Hayato swallowed. "It is good… but can you choose something more normal?"
"Ara~ If it's just ordinary, it's not interesting," Lilith teased. "Want to watch me change underwear?"
"Not now," Hayato answered quickly. "Too soon, and we still have to go to Sobu High."
"What a shame," said Lilith, pretending to be disappointed, then went to the changing room.
Lala came over carrying a white balconette bra. "Hayato, I don't know which one fits."
Hayato glanced at it. "That one suits you."
Lala smiled and went to change.
At that moment, from behind a rack, someone called his name.
"Hayato."
He turned. Standing there was Yumiko, a former classmate of his from middle school. Yumiko looked at him with confusion, then towards Lilith who had just entered the changing room and Lala who was choosing other clothes.
"Who are they? And why are you here?" asked Yumiko, her voice full of curiosity and a little jealousy.
"Lala and Lilith," Hayato answered calmly. "I'm just accompanying them shopping."
Yumiko felt her heart beat fast. "Are they…?"
"They will be transferring to Sobu as new students," answered Hayato. "And… they are my fiancées."
Yumiko fell silent. Those words were like a blow. Two? Two fiancées?
Just then, Lilith came out of the changing room, still wearing her erotic black lingerie. Her curves were perfect, and below her navel, a symbolic tattoo—a circle with runes—was faintly visible.
"How is it, Hayato?" asked Lilith, turning slowly.
Yumiko and the store attendant were both stunned. Yumiko blushed, a mix of embarrassment and shock.
"Lilith, there are people here," said Hayato, his voice tense.
Lilith smiled. "So… if there's no one, it's fine?"
Yumiko finally found her voice. "Who is this woman?! How dare she wear such vulgar clothes?!"
The store attendant promptly approached Lilith. "Ma'am, please… this is a public area. Let's go back to the changing room." Gently but firmly, she guided Lilith back.
[I didn't expect Lilith to be so bold. I have to resist her temptations.] Hayato's thought passed through his mind.
Yumiko suddenly heard that voice—Hayato's voice, but his mouth wasn't moving. She was startled, staring at Hayato. "Hayato, *********–(Did you say something?)"
But her voice was muffled. Her mouth seemed locked, unable to utter words. She tried again, but only her lips moved without sound.
Hayato noticed the oddity. [Is she sick? Or nervous?]
He approached, gently placing his palm on Yumiko's forehead. "Are you sick?"
The touch made Yumiko jolt. Her cheeks flushed. "Y-you idiot!" she said, then turned and almost ran out of the store.
From a distance, Lilith, who was being escorted by the attendant, saw the incident. Her eyes sparkled with interest. So it wasn't just her and Lala.
Other women could also hear his inner voice. But it seemed there was a mechanism preventing them from talking about it… making it even more Intriguing.
After that drama, they finally finished shopping. At the cashier, their total shopping reached 300,000 Yen. The cashier was shocked, but Hayato calmly paid with his Black Card.
"Thank you for shopping with us."
As they walked out of the mall, Lilith asked, "Was that a friend of yours?"
"Yes, from middle school," answered Hayato. "I don't know why she left embarrassed like that. I just touched her forehead."
Lilith smiled, not explaining further. "Oh, don't forget to put the shopping in the inventory. More practical."
