Chapter 3 - Chapter 2: Fight, Friend?

"Woah!" Rosto mused, trying to look above the others around him to see the fight. He could just vaguely see it, however it was just enough to see the blows. A sudden fist to the face or a kick to the stomach. Now that's entertainment! Rosto wanted, no! He needed to see more! But then some police guards showed up and interrupted the fight. "STOP! Or else both of you are going to jail." A officer screamed as he restrained one of the young students. It was a young girl and another slightly older young girl.

"What!? She started it!"

"Exuse me?! Your the one who called be a B****!"

"That's because you acted like one, Hoe. Wake up to reality. Nothing evolves around you and your little rich family."

"How dare you!"

And they started to fight again but were instantly restrained by the officers who looked like they just wanted their shift to end and have a beer. Frankly, Sophia felt that sometimes with Rosto. Rosto chuckled at the bickering who Sophia just looked disappointed. She didn't like watching people fight. But things like this happen and it's hard to stop them once they begin. "Now, now. Ladies. Let's halt this nonsense for brief moment and try to calm ourselves down?" A sudden voice called out. A young boy stepped into the circle. Wearing a long black, buttoned up coat with four pockets and a hoodie. Thins brown pants and leather boots tied in a complex way. The teen was lushes and bright. His eyes were a soft hazel with a tinged of limy green and dark brown. The boys hair was cut short but the way it swayed gently in the wind made you think he had long hair. "And what would you know, Peasent! Your just a dog who's bites their owner!" One of the girls scream. That one had black hair. "I maybe be a peasent. But technically your family was also one as well. Do you think all families just magically got rich? No. Do people just randomly get pregnant? No. Something always comes from something. That applys to all of us. Especially you, Jackie Demura. I was born into a poor family, yet we have to pay taxes to you people who do nothing but sit and do nothing. Have you ever touched a hoe? Or any farm tool? Tried to work inside a restaurant and clean floors? No, I don't think so." The young lad spoke, gesturing around the crowed and then pointing at Jackie. "We middle class and lower class people have to work to even get the huge amount you get. Years of hard work. However for you it's like a week or a month then boom, you get tons of money." The boy added. Stepping towards the restrained Jackie and frowning in disappointment. The crowd cheered and clapped their hands. Even Rosto was impressed but didn't clap. Sophia just watched, silently studying the boy. "Wow. He's handsome." Sophia said out loud then instantly covered her mouth, cheeks flushing. Rosto's neck snapped like splintering wood. His face in utter disbelief, shook an disgust. "Your serious, Sophia. Your simping for man whom you're just looking at?!" Rosto roared at Sophia, not in anger but total disbelief and surprise. Sophia didn't say anything and just looked away, a little guilty. Her lips thinned out into a line, the face she usual made when feeling guilty.

Then at that moment, the gates to the large school opened. Everyone stopped looking and started moving. It kinda reminded Sophia of her first high school years. They did this all the time. Walking in groups and heading inside the school towards the auditorium.

The auditorium was vastly large. Rows of seats for the higher class, middle class and lower class people. The red carpets on the marble stairs, the blue banners showing team symbols. The stage was smoothen out with shining wood planks. The curtains were red and the walls were marble white with spots of black. Sophia and Rosto were middle class people. They had the benefits of having cup holders and comfortable chairs that could lean back. Sophia just so happens to sit by the brown haired boy they saw speaking just moments ago. Rosto noticed and his veins popped out like bug splatter around the sides of his face.

As people slowly began talkin and chatting with one another a women stepped out from behind one of the red curtains, standing straight and firmly on the center of stage. "Welcome! Students! To HILLSTONE COLLAGE!" The women roared as everyone joined in the roar with cheers. The woman raised a hand, letting everyone calm down until their was silence. The woman coughed before speaking again. "Ahem. Hello there, dear students. I am your principal, Miss Rose Wester and I am glad to see everyone here. Today is a great. Because you'll get to see your dorms and will learn the rules of this school. However today we'll have to hear from Detective Paul for a short briefing." Miss Rose said as she walked to the side, letting a man in brown-reddish hair wearing a long coat and a wide hat. "Hello everyone. I am Detective Paul. I have hear to give you all a warning. One: do not go out at night because their is a murderer on the lose. Second: if you see a man wearing a white Mask please call the police immediately. That is all." Paul said as he walked off, tipping his hat gently.

Miss Rose calmly walked up to the mic stand, a small frown on her face. "Well. That is the warning. Keep that warning in mind and go see your dorms. The rules will be either on the wall or on a table." Miss Rose stated, her eyes narrowing as she ended the pep talk.

Everyone slowly started to leave to auditorium. Grabbing their bags or small suitcases. Some had box like carry-ons slung around on their shoulders. Sophia didn't care, just followed. So did Rosto though he followed his boy group. The School had separate rooms. One side for boys and the other side for girls. It was smart decision and a lot of the community liked it. The school was also divided. It was box-like with a smaller cut out square in the middle. That was called the court yard. It had a fountain with an angel on the top and lush green grass. Lots of flowers were planted around, different color's with different smells.

Sophia walked along her girl group. She could vaguely hear the stark remarks of the higher class girls. That made her hand twitch. "Psst!" Someone whispered. Sophia and the people around her ignored it. "Psst hey! You!" Sophia decided to turn to the noice. When she did he found herself staring into the eyes of a bright smiling girl with burnet hair and dark brown eyes. "Hi! I'm Lace Sackie. Your room mate." Lace said introducing herself. Sophia was surprised but nodded and introduced herself. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Lace. I am Sophia Youth." She said extending a hand. Lace smiled and gladly took the hand. "Great! How wonderful! Come on let's go find our dorm!" Lance shouted withe joy as she pulled Sophia along. Sophia couldn't do anything but let Lace pull her away. In fact it was kinda amusing to her and didn't mind it.

The hallway was wide and spacious. The square marble floor with doors on all sides. The walls were dark wood and filled with papers, glass casings with trophies and banners. Lace and Sophia glanced in awe at the hallway. Sophia noticed that at the end of the room there were many doors with red banners, that must be the higher class. Blue must mean middle class and green for the lower class. Sophia sighed at the sight.

It was pitiful.

People care more about status and money then connections and relationships. However what Sophia found interesting while walking down the hallway, was a picture. It was showing teams, one red, one blue and the other green. "So their gonna see who does better?" Sophia asked, glancing at the picture then turning back as they arrived at their dorm room.

Room 421 a middle class dorm.

The dorm room was divided by numbers. 100-300 was lower class. 300-600 was middle class and 600-900 was higher class. They had the more luxurious rooms with a balcony. "Losers. I can't believe we have to be around the dirty mongrels." A passing High class student retorted. They laughed as their voices grew distant. Sophia's veins bulged around her hand. Lace was also pissed as her veins were popping out along her arms and sides of her check. "Those pieces of sh-" Lace was about to say but her mouth was covered by Sophia. "Shhh! Do you want to be targeted!" Sophia hissed as she dragged the flaying Lace inside the room.

Meanwhile Rosto's area wasn't the best either. Many were insulting or jus talking trash about others. It was annoying…greatly. He wished very one just shut up. Rosto noticed his dorm room, it just so happened to be right at the end of the numbers.

Room 600.

"Oh you've got to be kidding me. Seriously?" Rosto muttered as he slowly walked up to the door. Just as he thought things couldn't get better.

They didn't. The door next to him, labeled with a red banner, swung open and a boy about Rosto's age stepped out. The boy pointed at at Rosto. "You! Just what do you think your doing?" The boy called, his full of disgust and anger. Rosto sighed, pressing his fingers against his nose bridge. "Oh great. Yes? What is it?" Rosto muttered out, looking at the blondie. "Go get me a large container of water." The blonde boy order, smirking as he stared at Rosto. Rosto just stared at him. While he was slightly taller, maybe by one foot. He deemed the blonde boy pitiful like all other higher class people. "No." Rosto said plainly, opening his door. He then walked inside and closed the door in front of the shocked blonde boy. "Did you encounter him too?" A voice said making Rosto do a 180. Sitting on a sofa and reading a book was a boy with slightly long black hair and extremely dark brown eyes, almost black. "Yea. I'm guessing you did too?" Rosto asked, walking over and sitting next to the boy. The boy nodded in reply. "Yes. His name is Trent Bootull. His family is famous for their coal and oil. They came from the small part of Tinstonberg. They are know for making wires and oil for engines. Oh, and my name is Yeist Infolyia." Yeist said extending a hand. Rosto took the hand and shook it. "Rosto Youth. It's… a pleasure." Rosto replied, his mind thinking what his sister would say. Yeist raised a inquisitive brow at the hesitation. "I'm guessing the girl sitting next to you was your sister?" Yeist asked. Rosto nodded, sighing at his hesitation. "Yea. She's nice but acts like a teacher to me. It's annoying. However, I still love my sister. She's pretty much the only family I have left, other than my mother." Rosto replied, grinning cheerfully at Yeist who only nodded. Face unchanging. "That's a good sister. Mine is Jackie. The one you saw fighting this morning. She's a higher class." Yeist said, a groaning sigh of annoyance escaping his throat. Rosto studied Yeist. Looking him up and down with slight confusion. "Soooo? Does that make you a high class person as well." Rosto asked calmly. Yeist thought for a moment, a frown appearing as he answered. "Yes it does, but o choose to become a middle class student. I don't like higher class people. They tend to be too arrogant. I hate it." Yeist said, fist clenching tightly around the book. "Yea, I can definitely tell you do."

Sophia sat on a Sofa next to Lace who sat quietly. They both almost got caught by two High class students. Sophia was just glad they made it through without problems. Now that she actually calmed down she was able get a nap out of the dorm room. The room was about 1,000ft by 1,000ft. "Well no wonder the doors were so far from one another." Sophia muttered scornfully. However she had to admit, the room was nice. Two bedrooms down the left hallway with one bathroom. A living room with a small box TV. She'll probably mess with those antennas later to get her favorite show on. A kitchen behind them with a small counter and two large windows to look down upon the courtyard center. It was cozy. Like extremely cozy. That weird spacious feeling she felt was suddenly creeping up her spine. Sophia did not like that feeling. Lance, however, could care less and looks around the room with excitement! "Yo! The bathroom has two separate showers! That's awesome!" (I'm putting this anime type trend thing here for funny haha's.) Sophia's face contorted like a cartoon character becoming a balloon and deflating. "Nooooooooooo! Anything but that!" Sophia thought with sadness and annoyance at the school's perverted approach.

Meanwhile with the Rosto and Yeist. "So your telling me that I just unintentionally insulted the Bootull's kid? Cool." Rosto said, smiling ear to ear as he pumped both his fists up in the air. Yeist just mildly looked at him, a soft unnoticeable grin creaking up his lips. "I guess you could say that." Yeist said, chuckling out loud as he turned a page in his book. Rosto nodded as he also chuckled. He then got up and walked around the dorm room. Rosto was curious to say the least. For a middle class person like himself, this was nice. Maybe a little too nice. But hey! A benefit is and always will be… a benefit.

As Rosto looked around the room, checking the kitchen and the bedrooms. He then finally noticed the large box TV with the Antenna's sitting quietly on a drawer connected to the wall. "Woah! Not even my family has one! Does it have color?" Rosto exclaimed dash towards the TV and kneeling before it. Yeist looked up from his book and frowned in the most ungentlemanly manner known to man. "What are you doing?" He asked staring at the kneeling Rosto who had begun to worship the TV like a child begging for his favorite toy. Rosto, with balling eyes, turned to Yeist like a he had just gave him the finishing move. "WHATTTTTTTT! What do you mean! DON'T TELL ME YOU DONT HAVE ONE OF THESE! THIS WAS JUST RELEASED A MONTH AGO AND THE PRICES ARE ENORMOUSLY OVER-BOARD!" Rosto shouted at Yeist. It was like a brother fanboying about his favorite movie star while his younger brother didn't even know who it was. "Ah, yes. I remember now. I think my sister told me about them. She desperately wanted one but our parents said no." Yeist said, his eye brows both raised up in thought. Rosto just looked at Yeist like he had the most disgusting thing to ever exist. "Oh yea. I forgot your rich. You wouldn't understand the pride of a Middle class person like me." Rosto remarked as he went back to hugging the box TV like it was gonna leave him. (Like my dad TWT) Yeist felt like an arrow just went Thunk and pierced his heart. "How dare you! Do you think being rich is easily too! I'll show you real wealth!" Yeist said standing up from his seat and walking towards Rosto. Rosto looked up and instantly realized he was in big trouble. He instantly let go of the TV and scrambled up right. It was like watching that one cartoon where that one characters skeleton jumped out and ran away. Outside of room 600 people who walked by heard thumping and yelps of pain from behind the door.

Even some random guys were could hear the sounds through the walls were chewing on popcorn and listening to the noise. After about ten minutes Yeist opened the room door. His shirt slightly unbuttoned, behind lay Rosto on his side with one arm and one leg over on one side. "Oh come on. I didn't do anything that bad. Stop being dramatic." Yeist barked at Rosto who instantly sat and and dusted himself off. "Yea yea. Whatever." Rosto laughed as he stood up. "Just know. This shirt costs about half a hundred dollars." Yeist commented as he rebuttoned his shirt. Rosto chuckle, walking towards Yeist and patting him on the back. "Yea. I'll find a way to pay you back. That's a promise." Rosto said with a smile as they walked way together down the hallway.

Sophia and Lace were chilling on the couch. Lace was baking some food while Sophia watched TV. It took her about ten minutes to finally get the channel she wanted. She sat on with her legs crossed over one another like an X. "Oh! You watch that show too? It's really popular lately!" Lace chimed as she flipped over two meat patties and turned off the oven. Opening the small square door and taking out cooked potato's that were cut into fries.

Sophia looked behind her, a soft smile apparent on her lips. "Yea. It's been my favorite show since childhood. Loved the series. I think there planning on making a movie or something. Though I don't know if that news is true or not." Sophia said with a shrug, turning her head back towards the TV.

Lace nodded her head. "Yea. I heard that too. I think it's been proven false by the creator. They don't want a movie. Some people think it's because of budget while others think it's because the creator only wanted the series as a show." Lace stated as she place the one of the two meat patties on a plate along with cut potatoes. "Anyway. Lunch is ready." Lace announced with a long sigh. Sophia nodded as she sat up from her seat and walked around the couch to sit on a high chair next to the kitchen counter. They both ate happily with each other. While Sophia still didn't like the large space she was used to Lace and that was all she needed. "You know, Soph. For a minute when we first met. I didn't think we'd become friends." Lance said, stuffing a fry shaped potato's into her mouth. Sophia looked at you with a guilty expression. "I also didn't think we'd become friends. I'd have to introduce you to my brother. He needs people like you." Sophia replied, a soft grin appearing on her face. Lace beamed at the idea and nodded vigorously as her cheeks had puffed out on both sides. Suddenly there was a knock at the door and it made both girls turn in curiosity and surprise. Sophia made the first move and walked over from her seat to the door. "Hmm. Odd. I wouldn't expect someone to knock on our door." Sophia muttered as she opened the door. However she was surprise when she was met with her brother and black hair boy standing next to time. "Hey sis. I came over to introduce my friend. His name is Yeist." Rosto said, looking like he just crashed a birthday party then feeling embarrassed about it. "Yes. Hello, Misses Youth. I am Yeist Infoliya." Yeist said politely as he introduced himself firmly, bowing his head slightly.

Sophia just stood there, shocked with utter bewilderment. Then small tears began to flow down her face. Rosto went alarm mode and started to get flustered with anger and worry. "Woah woah! Hey! Sophia! What's wrong!" Rosto shouted, his hand flailing around to check his sister. However Sophia just laughed and hugged her brother. "Oh. It's nothing. Just come in inside and eat with us. I'm so glad. I'm glad that you found someone." Sophia whispered as she nuzzled her face on Rosto's chest. Rosto's body, which was tensed, suddenly relaxed as a he wrapped his arms around Sophia. "I-I guess." Rosto couldn't even form words. Yeist and Laxe just stood by with honest confusion. "Kyaaa! Such a site is too beautiful!" Laxe shouted with tears. "Let's go party!" She added.

Somewhere far away from the School, within the town of Tinstonberg. Inside a large iron colored mansion with lush gardens and tall wooden beams, within a large room filled with animal heads and red carpet. Two women were chained to a large king sized bed. They were whimpering in fear as a slender yet mildly buff man entered the room. Wearing a night gown and holding a sheet of paper. "Hm. So that kid wants revenge. How amusing. What was his name? Eh who cares." The man laughed as he slicked back his silver hair. "Now for the fun part, huh?" The man said as he tune towards the two women. His eyes widen as he saw that the chains were broken and the two women were standing in the corner of the room. "Disgusting worm. Even after 10 years you still haven't changed. You're still the most pitiful person ever to exist. At least Pascal felt guilty for it. But you? Nope." A voice said in the purest of disgust, making a gaging sound. Wearing black pants, a neat brown vest with a black long-sleeved shirt stood a tall figure with a white poker fave mask. The figures hair was lush brown. "Let's see how long you'll last, Jeremia Bootull." The man said, holding in a his hand with a glove was a slightly long axe. It's edge shining slightly. Jeremia laughed at the figure. "I see it's the infamous Goryū. It seems that I underestimated you." He said, shrugging his shoulders as he narrowed his eyes. "But you can't hurt me though, can you? The police have you surrounded on all sides. I'm a protected man here." Jeremia said, pointing to himself then to Goryū. However Goryū just barked into laughter that distorted greatly in a variety of voices. "The police can not save you this time. Jeremia. Ohhh~ Detective." Goryū called as Paul entered the room, holding a gun. Jeremia instantly turned, face pale with fear.

"W-what is the meaning of this Paul? I give money to the station to keep me safe! And this! This outrageous behavior will get you fired!"

"Me? Fired? No the people love me, Jeremia. Plus your the mayor's closest friend, well. Your wife at least, who just so happens to be my college. I won't feel sorry for her if she loses you." Paul said as he aimed his gun at Jeremia.

"W-wait! I'll give you anything! No I'll do anything!" Jeremia pleaded as he started to beg on his knees, half smiling while also half crying.

"Oh my! What's this is I see! Is my sisters killer now afried of death?" Goryū asked, voice changing from high to a low deep growl then to a child voice mix with a smokey rasp. Jeremia, filled with fear and terror, stood up and ran. Running and running. He felt dizzy and nauseous. He stumbled across the long marble hallway and soon fell to the ground. The last thing he saw was a girl with pink braids and a lovely smile. Looking at him as her face distorted and wavered into a cruel malicious smile. "Welcome to hell. Jeremia." A deep, growling voice called from the little girl. Jeremia screamed loudly as skeleton hands reached out and grabbed him pulling him down into a endless firey pit with spikes.

"Wow. He really didn't last long huh." Paul mused as he watched Goryū take out long iron spears from the body of Jeremia. Goryū didn't reply but walked over and plucked out his axe from one of the dead women. "I knew that already."
