The next day, Rien sat beside Miss Yin's throne, calmly observing the battlefield below.
"You can do it, Kuto," he murmured, his voice quiet but confident.
Miss Yin glanced at him, smiling gently.
"You seem more energetic today," she said softly.
Rien returned a faint smile.
"Just feeling good about Kuto's fight."
His eyes returned to the battlefield.
Kuto stood opposite a girl who smiled coldly at him.
"My name is Kuto Haraki. And you?" he asked, giving her a confident grin.
She rolled her eyes, slowly drawing a long katana from its sheath.
"I am Lun Seu — commander of the Seu Empire."
Her voice carried a dangerous weight.
The battle began instantly.
Lun Seu vanished.
Her movement was faster than sight.
"You can't see me!" her laughter echoed through the air.
Kuto calmly closed his eyes. Black flames erupted from his body like a living shadow.
"You can't match my power."
In a flash, he teleported in front of her.
"Get ready to die."
BOOM.
His kick slammed into her stomach, launching her across the arena. She crashed violently into the front wall.
Dust filled the air.
Kuto stared down at her, his eyes burning with black blaze.
"Get up, slowpoke."
Lun Seu slowly stood, wiping blood from her lips.
"You really think you can defeat me?"
Cosmic energy exploded from her body, tearing apart the battlefield floor.
The ground shattered.
The air distorted.
Kuto responded by releasing the Asura Dragon Core. A massive gravitational force crushed the arena.
The audience trembled.
"This boy is terrifying…" people whispered.
From above, Rien spoke calmly:
"It looks like we're going to win."
Lan Xia clapped excitedly.
"Yes, Kuto! You ca— wait, idiot, don't mess up!"
Suddenly—
The battlefield shook violently.
"What is happening?!" Kuto struggled to stand.
Lun Seu's cosmic energy surged wildly, sending shockwaves that shattered the arena walls.
"I will kill you!"
She teleported behind him and kicked his back with monstrous force.
Kuto smashed into the ground, coughing blood.
"Ouch… your legs are ridiculously hard," he groaned, standing again.
Lun Seu stared at him nervously.
"You have incredible defense…"
Kuto smiled.
Black flames from the Asura Dragon Core surrounded him as he slowly walked forward. Every step destroyed the battlefield beneath his feet.
"I'm not a bad boy."
He dashed forward and grabbed her throat, lifting her effortlessly.
"Get ready to die."
From above, Rien suddenly stood.
"You shouldn't touch a woman like that, Kuto."
His voice was calm — but absolute.
Kuto looked up, then immediately released her.
"Alright, gentleman rules."
Lun Seu collapsed, gasping for air.
"I… can't breathe…"
Miss Yin clapped once. Servants rushed in and carried Lun Seu away.
Kuto scratched the back of his head.
"Was I too rough?"
Rien teleported beside him.
"No. But according to the Empire's League rules, you must fight again to win. This battle doesn't count."
Kuto's face froze.
"…What? Then what about the blood I just coughed out?"
Lan Xia rolled her eyes.
"You looked like you were enjoying that."
From the upper floor, Xu Yi watched them with interest.
"These men are strong…"
She licked her lips and walked away.
Palace Kitchen — Later
Rien entered the palace kitchen, scanning the room full of servants.
"Hey, Yueying. Where are you?"
A maid stepped forward — the same one who had hidden his chocolate cookies.
"Yes, Master," she said, bowing respectfully.
Rien leaned closer, whispering:
"Where is it?"
Yueying looked around cautiously.
"I put it in a safe place."
She led him to a small room and pointed behind a cupboard.
Rien snapped his fingers. The cupboard vanished, revealing a hidden wooden locker.
"That's great."
He opened it, took out a box of chocolate biscuits, and sat on the floor like a child who had found treasure.
Yueying sat across from him.
"You really like them, Master?"
"Yes," Rien said while eating happily.
"These are rare. Many people here don't even know such greatness exists."
Yueying tried one.
"…It tastes like normal sugar."
Rien froze.
He slowly turned toward her.
"That is culture. That is happiness. You should smile."
Yueying immediately forced the biggest smile imaginable.
"Like this, Master?"
She looked terrifying.
Rien stared blankly.
"…That's a threat, not a smile."
He carefully put the cookies back and restored the cupboard.
Yueying nodded proudly.
"I'm glad your treasure is safe, Captain."
Rien patted her shoulder.
"Good work, soldier. Our empire needs more warriors like you."
She beamed.
In corridor, Rien walk calmly " We have to keep the eyes on the cookies " He said calmly.
A maid suddenly ran toward them.
"Yueying! Your brother is fighting thugs again!"
Yueying's face turned pale.
"Where is he?!"
They rushed to the market. Rien followed calmly.
A crowd had gathered.
Several thugs were beating a young boy.
"You think you can refuse us, kid?" one thug sneered, punching him again.
Yueying ran forward and held the boy.
"Are you okay, Yee Ying?!"
One thug noticed her and grinned.
"Well, well… the beauty Yueying herself."
Rien stepped through the crowd.
"You don't need to cry."
His gaze shifted to the thugs.
One sneered.
"Who are you, boy?"
Rien looked at him.
The thug's body instantly exploded into pieces. Blood rained across the market.
Silence.
"My name is Rien… Kinohutsu."
He walked toward the remaining thugs.
"You killed our brother!" one shouted in rage.
Rien punched straight through the man's chest and pulled out his beating heart.
"Well… your heart is quite healthy."
He crushed it casually.
The corpse collapsed, a hole through its body.
"You are too weak."
In the next moment, the remaining thugs simply vanished — erased from existence.
The crowd trembled.
Yueying stared at him with shining eyes.
"That was incredible!"
Rien gave her a deadpan look.
"You are way too incredible."
And he walked towards both of them. Everyone turned away and get to their normal worlds and the place between crowded and normal again. Yueying gives her brother a serious look " Why you always take fight with those thugs even after knowing that you can't defeat them " She said agressively.
