At the Kinohutsu Household
The doorbell rang loudly.
Hana walked over and opened the door.
"Hello... who are you, kiddo?"
Kuto smiled brightly.
"I'm Kuto. I'm Rien's friend. I came here to meet him."
Hana blinked, surprised.
"I didn't know Rien had any friends."
Kuto laughed awkwardly while looking around the house.
"You're right, ma'am. He is very stoic and calm... but he's also extremely powerful and intelligent."
Hana sighed and pointed upstairs.
"He's in his room. Go."
Kuto ran up immediately.
He opened Rien's door without knocking and saw Rien sleeping.
"HEY Rien! Wake up!"
Rien opened his eyes slowly... then instantly teleported behind Kuto.
"What are you doing here, idiot?" he said calmly.
Kuto turned, smiling shyly.
"I missed you so much."
Rien gave him a flat stare.
"We just met at school yesterday. And we will meet again tomorrow."
Kuto puffed his cheeks and pulled a book out of his bag.
"Look! It's a Cosmic Ritual Book. I found it in the school's Cosmic Library. They told me not to touch it… and you know I definitely did."
Rien looked at the book with zero interest.
"And? Cosmic Ritual Books are extremely dangerous for someone like you."
Kuto waved the book in Rien's face.
"But not dangerous for you!"
Rien sighed.
After a While
Rien and Kuto sat on the floor.
Kuto prepared the ritual circle while Rien read the mantra from the book.
A bright blue light burst from the pages.
The entire dimension twisted-
The floor cracked-
Space folded-
And suddenly, both of them were sitting on the rocky ground of a massive cave.
Kuto gasped.
"WOOOAH! We actually did it!"
Rien stood up and began walking forward.
Kuto hurried behind him.
"Hey Rien, why aren't you saying anything?"
Rien stopped and glanced at him.
"I'm using Omniscient Perception."
Kuto leaned forward excitedly.
"What's that?!"
Rien explained while walking deeper into the cave:
"I can perceive all possible multiverses, timelines, and realities at once. Nothing is hidden - past, present, future, even abstract possibilities."
Kuto's eyes widened.
"So you can check if we're going out alive... or dead?"
"I already checked," Rien said.
"But I want it to feel adventurous."
Suddenly-
A loud screech echoed through the cave.
A demonic beast lunged at Rien-
-and vanished before it could touch him.
Kuto jumped in excitement.
"Rien! You're amazing!"
Rien continued walking as if nothing happened.
But then he stopped.
"I can sense legendary Cosmic Energy," he said quietly.
Kuto clapped like a child.
"YES! This is going to be fun!"
Rien shot him a look.
"You really think you can fight those demons?"
Kuto nodded aggressively.
Rien sighed and walked forward again.
They reached a giant open chamber.
Three enormous demonic figures sat on massive thrones.
One demon leaned forward.
"Humans...?"
Another licked his lips.
"Fresh toys to play with."
The third laughed.
"Oh, this will be fun."
Rien ignored all three and looked at Kuto.
"What do we need to do to end this ritual?"
Kuto whistled and looked away.
"I, uh... didn't read the whole book. Just the ritual part."
Rien stared at him... then rolled his eyes.
"Fine. Start the game, bulls."
The ground QUAKED as all three demons leaped down.
Kuto whispered nervously,
"Oh no... they're huge."
The Fight Begins
One demon teleported behind Rien and threw a punch-
Rien vanished instantly and appeared in the air.
"You're too slow, bull."
The second demon swung its claw.
Rien grabbed the demon's arm-
-and tore it off in one clean pull.
"Your hand wasn't that strong," Rien said casually as he tossed it away.
The third demon charged forward roaring-
Rien appeared behind it, grabbed its head, and kicked-
BOOM!
The head exploded into small pieces.
Rien's eyes darkened.
He looked at the second demon.
It exploded instantly - wiped out without a sound.
Only the first demon remained.
It panicked and fled through a dimensional portal.
Kuto shouted, "He's already running!!"
Rien's Hunt
Rien teleported to the middle of the 7th Dimension, blocking the demon's path.
"Why are you in such a hurry, bull?"
The demon trembled and increased gravity pressure-
-but Rien didn't even blink.
"W-why isn't the gravity working on you?!" the demon screamed.
Rien smiled.
"I have Absolute Immunity. I cannot be harmed or affected by any force, law, or entity. My existence is untouchable."
He raised his hand-
Omnithought activated.
The demon's existence vanished completely.
Return Home
Rien teleported back to the cave.
Kuto waved happily.
"Let's go back!"
Rien grabbed his arm and teleported both of them to his room.
Kuto flopped onto the floor.
"Woah... I got tired."
Rien gave him a deadpan stare and closed the book.
