Soon, the exam day came.
Before the exam, Jeffrey was still playing games. Vanessa Ji said earnestly, "Jeffrey, it's exam day today. Why are you still playing games?"
Jeffrey did not even raise his eyes. He continued to play the game. "So what?"
"If you fail this exam, you will be transferred to another class."
Jeffrey Fu did not care. "It doesn't matter to me which class I'm in. Besides, I don't have to listen to the sarcasm if the English teacher every day if I were to change classes."
Vanessa looked at Jeffrey and said,"Jeffrey, what about me? I will follow you wherever you go..."
Jeffrey smiled helplessly. With his knowledge, he could enter any class at will, but he wanted to see those who looked down on him being slapped in the face.
After the game ended, Jeffrey put away her mobile phone. At the same time, the head teacher walked into the classroom with the test paper.
After the test papers were handed out, Jeffrey glanced at it causally. He thought that the questions given by the key high school in Capital City would be a little difficult, but he did not expect that they were just easy. He quickly picked up the pen and began to write the answers.
It did not take long for him to close the pen. He yawned and fell asleep.
When the invigilator saw this, she frowned and walked to Jeffrey's side. She patted him on the shoulder and said, "Student, please take it seriously during the exam. Don't sleep, even if you don't know how to answer."
Jeffrey raised his sleepy head and said,"Teacher, I have completed it."
After that, the classroom burst into laughter.
"No way, it's only been less than half an hour. Even fairies can't finish it that fast."
"I think he is going to submit a blank paper."
The invigilator immediately scolded them, and then the classroom became quiet again.
Jeffrey had to look out of the window to pass through the rest of the time. When it was time to hand in the paper, Jeffrey was the first to leave his seat and handed in the paper.
...
All the subject was completed, and the students of Class A were filled with anger.
"Why is it so difficult this time? It's done for? I feel like I'm going to fail."
"I only hope that I won't be at the bottom..."
"Don't worry. Isn't there a countryside boy who will be ranked last in our class?"
Jeffrey put on his headphones and pretended not to hear them.
Someone patted him from behind. He turned to look at Vanessa Ji and asked, "What's the matter?"
"Jeffrey how did it go?"
"It was okay." Jeffrey shrugged and said indifferently.
Hearing this, Quintin could not help but laughed in his heart. " How can you be so thick skinned? I helped you with the questions last time. When the results come out, I'll see if you can still laught or not."
After Vanessa Ji and Jeffrey patted ways, he called his chauffeur home. As soon as he turned on his phone, his phone rang.
"Jeffrey, your phone had been turned off for an entire day. Where have you been?"
Jeffrey replied with a poker face, " It's exam day."
On the other end of the phone, Liam Baldwin patted his forehead and wine apologetically, " Oh, yes. I just remembered that Jeffrey is ok school now. I'm sorry."
"Let's get down to business."
"The rich woman who had a conflict at the lady auction wants to speak with you."
Jeffrey said lightly, "I don't want to."
"You really don't want to? Just name your price." Liam felt that he was tempted. If it were him, he would definitely agree.
"No!" He repeated in a firm and displeased tone.
"Okay, Jeff."
"However, I have investigated that Gu woman. I have found out they were actually twins. Mercy Gu and Avery Gu"
"The security department is still retrieving the footage from that night!"
After Liam Baldwin hung up the phone, he shook his head helplessly. How capricious are the rich!

Zenith City
Lover Benchmark Bar
The noise in the bar was deafening, the air thick with the beat. Lights flashed in a dizzying rainbow as guys and girls packed the dance floor, moving and grinding, letting all their inhibitions go.
A figure weaved through the crowd, wearing a white T-shirt and light blue jeans, her hair tied in a simple ponytail. She looked like she was in her early eighteen, more like a highschool student.
Her name was Avery Gu, and she was almost overwhelmed by the noise as soon as she passed by.
With an air of innocence still clinging to her, she was clearly, painfully out of place.
It was here first time in such a place, and it took her several minutes to get used to it.
Avery Gu had happened to pass by the corner of the distinguishable bar and could not help but think of that man.
He had a strikingly sculpted face, with a high-bridged nose and thin lips. His long lashes casted a faint shadow beneath his eyes, giving him an almost ethereal look. He looked like he might have been of mixed heritage.
But in an instant, she realized that she had thought too much.
Suddenly, it rained heavily.
Avery Gu could only hide under the eaves. There were few cars there. She was going to book an Uber, only to find that there were hundred people waiting in line of her.
Sigh, she could only admit that she was unlucky! She had to go home in the rain.
A black limited edition Rolls-Royce passed by. The man in the back seat saw a young girl strolling under the rain.
"Stop the car!"
The assistant stepped on the brake and looked back. "Mr. Fu, what's the matter?"
Without a word, Jeffrey Fu opened the door and walked straight to the girl under the rain.
