Author's Note
If you've read up to Chapter 17, you should already have a clear idea of the kind of story this is and the direction it's heading.
I'd also like to share that I've started a Patreon. Authors are humans too—we have bills to pay, responsibilities to handle, and time to invest in writing. That said, I'm not forcing anyone to support the story. The novel will continue to be updated publicly as usual, with 3–4 chapters released every week.
