Chapter 43 - Chapter 43: Raiden Ei: The Palace Priestess Leading a Rebellion? Execute!

Real world.

Plane of Euthymia.

Yae Miko was on the run.

Raiden Ei's eyes blazed with lightning as she gripped her naginata, slashing toward Yae Miko.

Those bolts of lightning looked utterly terrifying.

"Guuji, if you've got the guts, stop running!"

Raiden Ei's teeth were practically grinding to dust.

This damned Yae Miko was such a sly fox!

Her personality was just too wicked!

"Instead of swinging at me, why not check out the plot first? Look, the Tenryou Commission is working for the Fatui, and the Kanjou Commission has betrayed the Shogunate too!"

"Oh dear, as for the remaining Yashiro Commission—its head family, the Kamisato Clan, has betrayed you in a certain sense~"

Yae Miko laughed gleefully.

"Damn it..."

Raiden Ei was seething.

She already knew her decisions had been flawed.

But what infuriated her even more was that the Vision Hunt Decree had been deliberately pushed by the Fatui!

From Scaramouche's words in the video earlier, it was clear the Fatui had incited the decree to stir up conflict and promote Delusions!

Raiden Ei's instincts told her the Fatui had some deeply hidden conspiracy yet to surface.

But none of that mattered now.

What was important was that the betrayal by the Tenryou Commission and Kanjou Commission had set her ablaze with rage.

The Raiden Shogun had always been rigid, single-mindedly pursuing eternity.

Once that was exploited, just as Scaramouche said, the nation would collapse from within!

"Damn it..."

Raiden Ei's killing intent surged.

She loathed traitors, but she was also deeply ashamed.

Ashamed that her creation wasn't flexible enough.

If only she'd made the Shogun more adaptable back then.

But alas... she herself wasn't flexible—how could she create something more so?

"Sigh..."

Raiden Ei let out a breath, sheathed her naginata, and seriously watched the light screen.

In the video.

Kujou Sara had appeared behind Lumine at some point without anyone noticing.

"The Vision Hunt Decree is the General's decree. I have no complaints!" Kujou Sara's expression was resolute.

Yae Miko shook her head with pity. "Such pure loyalty, only to be undone by the times... Are you a fool, or clear-headed?"

"Please speak plainly, Guuji. What do you mean by that?" Kujou Sara's brows furrowed.

Yae Miko said, "The Vision Hunt Decree was a foolish policy misled by the Fatui, one that cost Inazuma's people their own hands. And the one who deceived the divine ear? Your own clan's master—the head of the Tenryou Commission, the Kujou Clan."

Kujou Sara's face filled with disbelief. "You're saying the Kujou Clan betrayed the Shogunate?"

"That's exactly right." Yae Miko nodded.

Kujou Sara sneered. "Guuji Yae, your accusation is not only dangerous but laughable. The Tri-Commission has served the General since ancient times, with unwavering loyalty!"

"Ever since the Kujou Clan took me in, I've seen firsthand that everyone in the Tenryou Commission, from top to bottom, is devoted to the General's cause—especially Lord Takayoshi..."

"His worship of the Musou no Hitotachi surpasses all others. My reverence for the General is but a fraction of his. How could he possibly do anything against her?"

Seeing Kujou Sara refuse to believe it, Yae Miko could only say, "In three days. Come back here in three days, and I'll show you the evidence."

Kujou Sara agreed. In her mind, Lord Takayoshi would never betray the General.

All she had to do was wait three days and capture Lumine and Paimon.

Meanwhile, Yae Miko had only three days. She needed to call in that professional.

[Kujou Sara]: Impossible. Absolutely impossible!

[Kaeya]: Maybe it's just hidden too deep. Yae Miko is even less likely to betray the General than the Kujou Clan, right? From the plot so far, this Guuji is no simple character. If she says it, it's not baseless. Sit back and enjoy the show! (chuckle)

[Heizou]: It was mentioned that documents from the Yashiro Commission get rejected by both the Tenryou and Kanjou Commissions together. Looks like those two are in cahoots. The Tenryou Commission helping the Fatui for kickbacks makes sense, but why the Kanjou Commission? They don't lack Mora!

[Paimon]: Why wouldn't the Kanjou Commission lack Mora? (confused)

[Sangonomiya Kokomi]: The Kanjou Commission oversees Inazuma's economy. If they want Mora, they can just dip into their own turf. Why betray the Shogunate alongside the Tenryou Commission?

[Lumine]: From what we see, all three Shogunate Commissions have betrayed the General. The Shogunate is riddled with holes. The Raiden Shogun really is all alone.

[Kamisato Ayaka]: Miss Lumine, don't say that!! (Kamisato Ayaka · bewildered)

[Kaeya]: Miss Kamisato secretly meeting wanted criminals is already betraying the General. And you want to abolish the Vision Hunt Decree? That's defying her will even more! Just wait for that Musou no Hitotachi! (Hu Tao · sly grin)

[Kamisato Ayaka]: (shivering)

[Gu Chen]: Right now, the only one loyal to the Raiden Shogun is Kujou Sara. But the Shogun's policies are clearly wrong, so Sara's got it the toughest.

[Kujou Sara]: Doesn't matter. As long as it's the General's will, I support it!

[Raiden Ei]: What if it's me? (Shenhe · stare)

[Gu Chen]: Test question: If Ei and the Shogun's will conflict, whose side would Miss Kujou Sara take? (chuckle)

[Kaeya]: What a wedge-driving scheme! (chuckle)

[Venti]: Side with Ei, and you betray the Shogun. Side with the Shogun, and you betray the real Electro Archon. (chuckle)

[Yae Miko]: How would you handle it, miss? (Yae Miko · sly grin)

[Kujou Sara]: …

So vicious. You're all so vicious!

Real-world Kujou Sara was plunged into a dilemma.

Gu Chen's question made her scalp tingle.

[Kujou Sara]: I can't answer that! (Keqing · hard pass)

[Yae Miko]: At a time like this, just say you're loyal to me, Guuji Yae. Problem solved—after all, I'm loyal to the General too~ (Yae Miko · sly grin)

[Gu Chen]: @[Yae Miko] Openly poaching the General's loyal vassal? What's your game? (chuckle)

[Raiden Ei]: Yae Guuji already harbors rebellious intent. Such a traitor must be purged at once! (Raiden Ei · take this slash)

[Yae Miko]: (Yae Miko · sly grin)

Yae Miko was delighted right now.

The rigid, wooden Raiden Ei had learned to joke around in the group chat.

"Ei, not bad. Big improvement~" Yae Miko praised with a beaming smile.

"Hmph~"

Raiden Ei huffed arrogantly. "But is this the 'professional' you mentioned?"

On screen, a little girl appeared—looking精神不佳, sleep-deprived and pitiful.

[Yanfei]: Child labor?! (alert)

[Furina]: Guilty! Sentence her!!!

[Paimon]: @[Sayu]

[Lumine]: @[Sayu] Are you really an adult?

[Sayu]: Who... so sleepy... lemme sleep more...
