Elia Martell, the princess from Dorne, was kind and elegant, her words and mannerisms revealing an elf-like wit and gentleness. Her little daughter, Rhaenys, was a budding rose, an innocent princess who called his name in a sweet, childish voice.
If they were strangers, their fate might have been nothing more than a tragic rumor from a distant land. But months of interaction had made Elia a friend he admired, and Rhaenys a treasure he wished to protect.
Just thinking about the unspeakable cruelty and filth the Mountain would inflict upon them in the original timeline—thinking of those scenes that defied description—made a cold fire of rage burn in Euron's gut, keeping him awake at night.

Late last night, after returning to his quarters, Euron sealed the heavy stone door against the noise outside. He carefully reviewed his abilities and the harvest of his journey, his eyes gleaming with calculation.
Before the death match with the Mountain, to maximize his odds, Euron decided to pour all his points into enhancement, reserving only the necessary Soul Points for healing.
A clear ledger of his journey's accumulation surfaced in his mind:

Upon arriving at Harrenhal, the conflict with the Brave Companions—the notorious Bloody Mummers—and their subsequent annihilation yielded a rich 6,950 Slaughter Points.
But the most substantial gain came from the tourney itself. Through the single combat, the seven-sided melee, and the joust, he had amassed a staggering 7,980 Defeat and Slaughter Points.
In total, he had earned 20,950 points. Adding the meager 80 points he had left before, his current total was an astounding 21,030 points.
Euron didn't hesitate. He poured this ocean of points into upgrading and evolving his skills. Strength, technique, and even the eldritch powers of his soul surged toward unknown realms.

Effect: Nirvana Soru! Burn soul energy to exchange for "Three Teleports"—each lasting 1 second, range within 3 meters. Usable once daily.

Effect: Geppo Gravity! Adjust personal gravity while moving to achieve "Ultra-Low Altitude Gliding" (faster speed near the ground), "Flash Climb" (move along walls/ceilings), or "Rapid Descent."

Effect: Rankyaku—Knockback! Hits have a chance to send enemies flying. Chance greatly increased when striking from behind or against defenseless foes. Usable once daily.
Level 3 → Level 4 (Cost: 2,000 Points). Kick speed increased.
In total, he spent 21,000 points, leaving only a fraction of 30 points. But his strength had grown by leaps and bounds.
As for Soul Points, he had 11,400.
Counting the 1,400 points spent during the joust, he had harvested a total of 12,800 Soul Points during this tourney alone.
Shocking numbers! Indeed, murder and arson were the golden paths to power.
But it made sense. In the seven preliminary matches of the seven-sided melee, at least two hundred men died per match—that was 1,400 lives extinguished right there. Add the two hundred from the Brave Companions and nearly a hundred from the single combat, and the death toll exceeded 1,700. At roughly 8 Soul Points per head, that would be around 13,600 points. There were surely many souls he hadn't absorbed, or the number would be even higher.
Of the 12,800 points, he injected 10,000 directly into Zeus (Thor). The thundercloud homie instantly swelled to the size of a basketball, a dark, ominous mass crackling with blue lightning. It was finally ready for combat.
These special abilities gave Euron the confidence to kill the Mountain in a duel. Plus, with the Substitute Scarecrow sleeping in his inventory, he felt invincible.
Satisfied with his stats, Euron checked his status panel. The potential for future growth was limitless.
