We reached the floor that was meant for us to get off on, with the door to the elevator opened I got off the others 4 got off after me. When we got off of the elevator our phones chimed while they lit with a timer of 3 minutes, when we heard the female system voice.
[System female voice: You are to escape this room/building within the stimulated time in order to clear this game.]
Chota: "We are meant to pick one of these doors that has Dead or Alive on it to progress? Through the game"
Hearing him ask his question while he starts to smile with him also taking out his phone saying, "this is starting to get exciting." Watching him before looking to the others to see him and his friends still not taking the situation for what it is for it seems only the woman from earlier was to have my gaze land on the high school girl when she starts to speak "a game?"
Chota: "Yea, I'm sure after we clear the game, I'm sure they'll give us a prize" looking at the scared high school girl.
Karube: Arisu what door do you think that we should choose to open?
Chota: "Not the door with the skeleton on it right."
Karube: Smirking, "Arisu the door Chota said then" as I walk away smiling at Chota, as I was heading to look at the Alive door.
With them joking around we all are walking around the room to only meet in the middle when I smell something, I started to sniff around a little causing Karube to take notice and start to do the same. I looked at our phones which had 1 minute left on the timer, prompting me "Hey... guys we should just choose a door...." when I turn to look at Arisu, for he was about to open his mouth, but smoke started to come from the floor.
"SHIT!... cover your faces" for more and more smoke to come out of the floor, the women yell out "ITS THE ALIVE DOOR PICK ALIVE!"
Arisu: "How do you know?" for her to say back "it makes the most sense."
Watching as panic starts to consume the other's the high schooler finally snaps and "I can't breathe! someone due something." The woman screamed "HURRY UP AND PICK THE ALIVE DOOR."
Chota: "Guys!... we're almost out of time, if we don't pick the right door what happens."
Karube: Looking at the woman "if you're so sure open the door yourself!"
The high school girl freaked out while she kept saying "I can't breathe I can't breathe" covering her face while she ran towards the "Alive" door, opening it to be shot by a laser through her head as soon as she went through the flesh hold of the door. That had come from above the building through the ceiling.
With them standing there shocked, I opened the dead door to the next room with the woman right behind me. I called out to them to come on as the woman was already in the room, and Karube snapped out of it grabbing Arisu to leave the room with Chota right behind them. The room was set ablaze as I closed the door after Chota had made it in.
Arisu walks up to the woman and says, "you sacrificed that girl" as the woman looked at him with a dead pan look, saying "if it wasn't for me, we all would be dead right now."
Arisu: "That why you sacrificed her" while I looked her dead in the face.
I look at my phone to see it has set the new time limit at 2 minutes now being 1:59seconds while they were still arguing I seen Karube had joined them causing me to "guys look at your phone."
They look at their phone with Karube saying "fuck" while he turns around, he grabs one of the woman hands pushing her to dead door and says, "open it." The woman just stands there with her back to the door shaking her head. He screams "OPEN IT!" causing fear to appear on the woman's face only for her to say "I can't" as she stands there holding her purse.
Karube: "Are we supposed to pick the dead door again in" allowing my frustration and desperate voice to be heard. Walking over to where Arisu is "Arisu what do you think? your good at games.
Seeing that Arisu is looking at him while he visually looks as if he's realized that this is not a simple regular game of dead or alive and that they are literally risking their life to play this game. He finally speaks "Karube this isn't a game" for Karube only to yell "it is! just think, we came through the front... Arisu cuts him off while he freaked out "this is not a game! and for him to figure it out! Why me!" as smoke starts to come out of the floor.
Karube walks in front of him again and says, "while I was working my ass off you were just sitting at home wasting your life playing games."
Arisu: Yea, well how that's better when all you're good at is..."
I cut him off "Hey! guys I remember seeing a BMW 523d outside before walking in." Having their attention on me Arisu says, "that's right my dad drives one" as he has a flash back to noticing the car before entering the building " but also 4 of that exact car is to be equivalent to 1 one of these rooms." Seeing the others also remember the woman speaks "the time limit guys" while Arisu is only focusing on finding the answer before saying "the answer is Dead."
Karube: "How do you know."
Arisu: Hearing the doubt from Karube "I'll open it" and I head to the door, putting my hand on the knob nervously. Closing my eyes to pray 'please be the right door.' Opening it for nothing to happen we run through the door.
Seeing the look on Karube face when we all enter the room, I answer the question he has "that if the buildings rooms is to be equivalent to 4 BMW 523d, that means the building is 24 meters making the rooms 6 meters wide. But can I ask for something to draw on." Chota pats himself and finds a pin, as the woman gave me a napkin. I go to the ground, and they do the same while I drew a square putting lines in it, to make smaller areas to represent the rooms.
Saying quickly "this is the way we came" and mark part of the line to show we didn't go in these areas.
"So, the first door the high schooler died in" I crossed it in off and made an arrow showing us going forward.
Then saying "thanks to Karube and Arisu we moved through these 2 rooms and now where in this room. So logically thinking by how the map showed where in the right corner of the building, we should choose the Dead door again" as we get up, I go to open the door with dead on it.
